The City of Manhattan Beach is now accepting proposals for Phase II of the Mural Program. Launched in 2018, Phase I of the Mural Program resulted in 5 iconic murals which can be seen at the links below. Phase II is seeking proposals for up to 7 sites in highly visible areas of Manhattan Beach.

Art Lab Camp - Come explore the possibilities with a variety of materials and mediums. Projects inspired by current working artists are just the starting point for you to discover your own style and process. Artists of all abilities welcome.
Age: At least 5 years old but less than 14. These summer camp sessions will take place at the Manhattan Beach Art Center on Monday through Fridays.

In this art workshop beginning and returning students will learn two ways to set a glass stone and how to create embellishments for their pendant using Silver Metal Clay. This small class offers plenty of individual attention. The workshop fee includes all materials. Tools will be available for use during the class. Firing will be done off-site and you will pick up your pendant at the Manhattan Beach Art Center within 10 days. Bring your lunch and glasses for detailed work in you need them. Ages 16+
