While we are so affirmative about Canada being a heaven & a key destination for immigrants, it’s also a fact that international competition is increasing simultaneously. The five top Canadian cities that have made it to the list are Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver & Ottawa. Toronto & Ottawa, two major economic hubs in the Province of Ontario, attracts many migrations annually. Not only that, the numbers are more than in any other Province. The other ones include Vancouver, the biggest & the brightest in the cities of British Columbia Province. The other key one is the capital city Victoria, which was unable to make it to the Top five list. Calgary city, Alberta, is growing every day in terms of the dynamic increase in the number of migrants coming to Alberta due to the University experience as well as the experience of earning & learn. The last one & being one of the most important ones is a key city in the Province of Quebec.

Montreal, from the French-speaking province of Quebec, is a major hub of finance, Trade & Education for thousands coming to the city. The list is obviously bigger than we think, but the Canadian cities have made it to the list. Thanks to the lifestyle, the rich values & the teaching standards, they have been able to cope.

Toronto, the Capital city of Ontario Province, is the one that is ranked 24th place in the Top 100 listings. These are stats according to Resonance Consultancy, i.e. a B.C.-based marketing consultancy.

CANADA’S HIGHEST-EVER IMMIGRATION MILESTONES:

The country Canada has released its immigration level plans for 2023-2025. These are plans which target to welcome 500,000 new permanent residents a year by 2025. These are new targets, i.e. the ones that continue to break the records set in 2021 at 405,000 and approximately 435,000 in the current year 2022.

This is, more specifically, the plan that aims for more than 60% of new permanent residents to immigrate through an economic immigration pathway. This economic immigration pathway is similar in nature such as an Express Entry program.

There is an immediate need for skilled workers in the country’s labour force as the labour deficit needs to be filled. Obviously, as the aging population, which is a fast aging population, reaches the retirement age. As an economic issue, the national birth rate is too low to sort out or resolve the shortage. Therefore, the country relies heavily on immigration to keep the economy strong.

It has been completely wiped out from the list along with St. Petersburg city from Russia. The ranking of London, i.e. consistently on the top spot, being number one, is due to high rankings in many sectors. These include global investments, Luxury Real Estate, Tourism & thriving nightlife. The other top 10 cities, which are international cities, also include Paris, the French Capital city, New York (USA) & the Japanese capital city Tokyo. It also includes Dubai & Barcelona, a city in Spain. Other major hubs also include the Italian capital city Rome, Madrid (Spain), Singapore & the Dutch capital city, Amsterdam.
