HOW TO SETTLE THE PAYMENT

It is your responsibility, as a participant, to ensure the payment for your course goes through, regardless of who is supposed to settle the payment.

If your employer or another organisation has agreed to finance your course, you have to forward the payment to them.

You can settle or forward the payment via our online payment portal Epayment.

User Manual for Epayment Open a random browser, for instance Explorer. Go to the web page: https://epayment.cbs.dk You are now on the front page and ready to sign in to Epayment. First, go to the top and change the language from Dansk to English.

Type User ID (fx mepe06ad) and Password – it’s the same login as CBS mail, Learn etc.

Notice that the welcome text is still in Danish, it is under construction.

When you have signed in, the default settings change back to Danish, so you need to change the language once again when signed in. You are now placed in Step 1 for paying a course on CBS.

This is what you see in Step 1. Ͳ Ͳ

Invoice Pending Payments. This is where you can see what courses you have been enrolled in; are ready for payment and the due date for paying.

Last Pending Transactions. Here you find all payments made but are still pending (this means that the payment for a specific course has not yet been paid and registered at CBS), this is if you have chosen Giro or eͲ faktura/eͲinvoice.

Last Payment: is all the courses/payments that are paid and registered at CBS.

You choose the invoice (course/semester) which you want to pay, and click the button ”Pay”.

You can only pay one invoice at a time. After doing it once, you need to repeat the process.

Step 2: ”Select Payment Option” In step 2 you can either choose: User pays or Company pays.

User pays: All squares are filledͲin on beforehand. You are not able to make any changes in this area; hence all the squares are marked grey. If you have any questions or the address is wrong (maybe due to a recent moving), please contact your Study Administration.

Company pays: In this section, there is only one field that is already filledͲin – marked grey too: Student. You can’t type another name. Every square marked with a star (*) are mandatory fields and MUST be filled out. NB! CVR and EAN number are predetermined; this means you are only allowed to fill in a certain amount of numbers. The comment field in the buttom is if a company wants a specific reference on the invoice: POͲnumber (Purchasing number) or something similar to this.

When you filled out the blanks, please click ”Pay” and you will move to next page: STEP 3.

Step 3: ”Confirmation”. This is where you choose which type of payment, you wish to use.

Whether you choose User pays or Company pays, you get different payment options.

User pays: The predetermined fields User pays from Step 2 will automatically be transferred to Step 3, so you once again are able to see all your personal information.

You now have two payment options:

DIBS (Card payment), including mobile Pay. Please note the there is a fee for using cards – both Danish and foreign cards.

You select the card, you wish to use for payment; type the card number, expiration date and the security number on the back of the card. Press pay and you are redirected to a confirmation page. You have now paid your course and you don’t need to do anymore.

NonͲDanish bank transfer: Select this way of paying and click ”pay”. After you have clicked “pay”, you are transferred to a confirmation page AND NOTE that you have NOT yet paid. You will shortly after your payment option receive an invoice in your CBS mail account. Everything is listed on the invoice to make payment, such as IBAN and SWIFT code.

The Confirmation is almost similar no matter what type of payment you choose.

Company pays: The predetermined fields which are filled out in Step 2 under Company pays, will be transferred to Step 3, so you are able to still see everything, you have filled in. If you by chance notice that you have done it wrong, just hit back and do it again.

You have four payment options:

DIBS: if your company wants to pay with credit card. It is the same procedure as User pays.

Ͳ EͲinvoice: this only applies if you work for a danish institution. EͲinvoice is NOT the same as an electronic giro.

When choosing EͲinvoice, please remember to fill out the EAN number in step 2, it’s a 13 digit number. It is not mandatory to fill out the number in step 2, but it is mandatory in step 3. If you do it in step 2, it remembers the number for step 3. In step 3, the field is marked with a star, which indicates that this field MUST be filled out. The field requires 13 digits, so if putting too few or too many numbers, you will get an error. When having done this, press pay and you will automatically be directed to the confirmation page. Æ

Ͳ Giro: ONLY danish companies If the company wants to pay by Giro, use this option.

When choosing Giro, you don’t have to do anything else other than clicking pay. Afterwards you receive the confirmation.

The Giro will then be forwarded to you on your CBS mail account and if chosen; the company mail.

Ͳ Bank transfer: If a company chooses to pay using a normal bank or foreign bank transfer, this is the way to go. Use the same procedure from User pays (page 4). The invoice with all the information that has been filled in will be generated send to your CBS mail account and if chosen; a company mail.

No matter which payment option you choose, everything will be send the CBS mail account, this includes both invoice and receipt and if chosen; company mail from Step 2. When receiving the EͲmail with the invoice, you are then guided through how to pay the Giro or the NonͲDanish bank transfer.

”View your user information” shows the information which

are residential registered in Denmark (Folkeregister) and are obtained in STADS. It is up to every student to make sure the information is correct. If the info is wrong, please contact the study administration.
