Results: TrueData iOS IAP data was 50%+ and install data was 20%+ more eective at driving quality installs than their existing campaign targeting.

Approach: They fed audience segments composed of TrueData In-App Purchasers into Facebook lookalike modeling to do audience expansion.

Approach: TrueData was used to target the retailer’s current customers to entice them to try the grocery service, and was also used to target the "food/drink delivery" category of apps to reach consumers who are heavy adopters to delivery services.

ENTERTAINMENT CUSTOMER SEGMENT TARGETING Challenge: A top-3 national broadcast network wanted to reach two distinct segments, Cord Cutters and Traditional Cable Subscribers, in order to upsell and cross-sell its services more eectively.

Approach: TrueData was utilized to pinpoint Cord Cutters and Traditional Cable Subscribers based on the apps downloaded on their devices. The data was pushed to their [TradeDesk] DSP seat so that the audiences could be uniquely targeted.

Results: Based on third-party reporting, TrueData provided a double-digit lift in the advertiser’s streaming app downloads, and data budget allocation to TrueData more than doubled month over month.

IMPROVING ROAS FOR A TOP GAMING APP Challenge: A top casual gaming app publisher was not reaching its D7 ROAS benchmark with traditional retargeting and lookalike Facebook audiences, and were looking for new strategies to optimize KPIs.

Approach: TrueData ran a Mobile Intelligence Report and discovered that the app’s existing users were 10-21x more likely to have 5 competitive apps installed on their device.

TrueData then built a custom audience segment of users with these competitive apps installed. The app publisher fed the TrueData Audience Segment into Facebook and ran an A/B test against its existing lookalike audience campaign.

Results: The user acquisition team saw a 110% lift in return on advertising spend. month over month.

CUSTOM DATA FEED Challenge: A top music streaming app wanted to collect user-level app ownership, bluetooth, location, and device characteristics with minimal data engineering effort and storage costs.

Approach: We recommended the mobile app install our SDK for collection, ingestion, and normalization of the data, which we would stream back to the app via its own internal systems. This service was offered for free as a value-add to working with TrueData since the app was contributing to our data co-op.

Results: The mobile app is now collecting granular data with high fidelity on its more than 1 million global daily active users, all with no ongoing overhead, in terms of engineering efforts or server costs.

Approach: TrueData set up a bulletproof consent management workflow to ensure privacy compliance across the EU and US. We organized and productized their 26MM MAUs into 1.8BN unique segments before distributing to over 50 DSPs.

Results: Despite capped ad monetization potential, TrueData opened up a >$100K passive revenue stream for the app publisher without impacting UX.
