On Monday, March 7, 2016, MPAC held a reception for all students who participated in the contest. Over one hundred people, including the artists, their friends and family attended this special reception where the winners of the 2016 MPAC Program Cover Art Contest were announced. Ryan Watson, Junior at Randolph High School, Savanna Templeton, Junior at Randolph High School, and Veronica Theobald, Junior at Randolph High School are the three winners who will have their pieces printed on the cover of MPAC’s program books to be seen by tens of thousands of the Theatre’s patrons.

Gaelic Storm After 10 albums, and nearly 3,000 live shows, Gaelic Storm — the chart-topping, multi-national Celtic band — is dishing up a hearty serving of Full Irish. The greatest-hits album spans the bulk of the band's career from 2004-2014, mixing crowd favorites and concert staples with three previously unreleased recordings.

Gaelic Storm has straddled the line between tradition and innovation for nearly two decades. Led by founding members Patrick Murphy and Steve Twigger, the group infuses traditional Celtic music with modern influences, updating the genre for a new generation of fans raised on rock, country and folk. Along the way, the musicians have topped the Billboard World Chart four times, appeared in the blockbuster film "Titanic" (where they performed "Irish Party in Third Class," an unreleased song made available for the first time on Full Irish) and earned a reputation as a hard-touring, genre-bending band.

"We have earned every single one of our fans, one at a time," Murphy says. "There's no sponsorship. No corporation is pulling strings. Every fan is made by us playing a show and shaking hands and learning names. We've become friends with so many of them. When someone at a show tells me they've never seen Gaelic Storm before, I say, 'Welcome to the family.'"

Full Irish pays tribute to the group's diverse journey. The album features sea shanties and drinking songs, traditional tunes and originals, instrumental workouts and vocal showcases. "Whiskey in the Jar," another brand new recording, even harks back to Gaelic Storm's early days as a pub band in Santa Monica, California, long before the group played the Telluride Festival, the Rock Boat cruise, or high-profile theaters in countries like France and Spain. Together, these 15 songs celebrate the sunny side of life, urging listeners to raise their pint glass and stomp their feet.

"When you go eat pub food in Ireland," explains Steve Twigger, "you can order the 'Full Irish," which is a combination of mushrooms, beans, bacon, sausage, black pudding, white pudding… It's the works, basically. That idea seemed to represent everything about this album. This is the works. Everything we do is represented."

Regularly playing more than 120 shows a year, Gaelic Storm has built a loyal following as diverse as the band's own music. Fans of traditional Irish music have championed the group for years, but so have fans of harderedged Celtic rock. On tour, Gaelic Storm is just as likely to play a large rock club as a plush theater. The band makes regular appearances on cruises, too, joining artists like the Barenaked Ladies and Michael Franti.

"Our audience spans the whole spectrum," Twigger says. "We'll play a rock venue one night, then a performing arts center that might've hosted a ballet performance the night before. We've got hardcore fans who love our energy, Jimmy Buffet fans who love our message, folk fans who love our stories.

Everyone can appreciate it, and that's been the secret to our longevity."

"Looking back over our past albums is like flipping through a photo album," adds percussionist Ryan Lacey, who joined the band in 2003. "Each record was made during a different time and a completely different phase of our lives. What hasn't changed is the message. We want everybody to have a good time, to enjoy themselves. It's the sort of message that everyone can get behind."

Although Full Irish takes a look backward, Gaelic Storm is still moving ahead at full speed. There's another studio album in the works, as well as plenty of tour dates on the books. Hungry for more rule-breaking Celtic music? Full Irish will satisfy your appetite… even if it's just an appetizer for what's to come.

Itzhak Perlman Undeniably the reigning virtuoso of the violin, Itzhak Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician.

Beloved for his charm and humanity as well as his talent, he is treasured by audiences throughout the world who respond not only to his remarkable artistry, but also to his irrepressible joy for making music.

Having performed with every major orchestra and at venerable concert halls around the globe, Itzhak Perlman was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom in November 2015 by President Obama for his meritorious

contributions to cultural endeavors of the United States and for being a powerful advocate for people of disabilities. In 2013, he was granted a Kennedy Center Honor by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in celebration of his distinguished achievements and contributions to the cultural and educational life of the United States. He has performed multiple times at the White House, most recently in 2012 at the invitation of President Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama, for Israeli President and Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree Shimon Peres; and at a State Dinner in 2007, hosted by President George W. Bush and

Mrs. Bush, for Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.

In 2009, Mr. Perlman was honored to take part in the Inauguration of President Obama, premiering a piece written for the occasion

by John Williams alongside cellist Yo-Yo Ma, clarinetist Anthony McGill and pianist Gabriela Montero, for an audience of nearly 40 million television viewers in the United States and millions more throughout the world.

Born in Israel in 1945, Mr. Perlman completed his initial training at the Academy of Music in Tel Aviv. An early recipient of an AmericaIsrael Cultural Foundation scholarship, he came to New York and soon was propelled to national recognition with an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1958. Following his studies at the Juilliard School with Ivan Galamian and Dorothy DeLay, he won the prestigious Leventritt Competition in 1964, which led to a burgeoning worldwide career.

Since then, Itzhak Perlman has established himself as a cultural icon and household name in classical music.

Mr. Perlman has further delighted audiences through his frequent appearances on the conductor’s podium. He has performed as conductor with the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony, National Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the symphony orchestras of Dallas, Houston, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Montreal and Toronto, as well as at the Ravinia and Tanglewood festivals. He was Music Advisor of the St. Louis Symphony from 2002 to 2004 where he made regular conducting appearances, and he was Principal Guest Conductor of the Detroit Symphony from 2001 to 2005. Internationally, Mr. Perlman has conducted the Berlin Philharmonic, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Philharmonic, English Chamber Orchestra, and the Israel Philharmonic.

The 2015-16 season commemorates Itzhak Perlman’s 70th birthday with three album releases and worldwide concert tours. For the first time in many years, Mr. Perlman tours with pianist and longtime friend Emanuel Ax in special duo recitals that take them to eight cities across America including Los Angeles (Disney Hall), San Francisco (Davies Symphony Hall), Chicago (Ravinia) and Washington D.C. (Kennedy Center). In December 2015, he performs at Carnegie Hall in a rare trio collaboration with pianist Evgeny

Kissin and cellist Mischa Maisky, marking the first time he and Mr. Kissin have performed together. In March 2016, he celebrates the 20th anniversary of his popular klezmer program, In the Fiddler’s House, in comeback concerts with klezmer greats Andy Statman, Hankus Netsky and special guests from the Klezmer Conservatory Band and Brave Old World in Boston (Symphony Hall), Miami (Arsht Center) and West Palm Beach (Kravis Center). On the orchestral front, Mr. Perlman performs season-opening gala concerts with the Toronto Symphony under Peter Oundjian and the Pittsburgh Symphony under Manfred Honeck, and makes conducting appearances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and San Francisco Symphony.

Throughout the season, he performs with his regular collaborator, pianist Rohan De Silva, in recitals that take them across North America, Asia and to Europe in their first appearances as a duo in London (Barbican Centre), Paris (Philharmonie de Paris) and Munich (Gasteig).

Further to his engagements as violinist and conductor, Mr. Perlman is increasingly making more speaking appearances. Upcoming engagements include Elon University’s Fall Convocation in North Carolina and the Association for Financial Professionals’ 35th Annual Conference in Denver.

Itzhak Perlman’s recordings have garnered 16 GRAMMY® Awards and regularly appear on the best-seller charts. In 2008, Mr. Perlman was honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in the recording arts. This season in 2015, Mr. Perlman sees three record releases in celebration of his 70th birthday: A new Deutsche Grammophon album with pianist Emanuel Ax performing Fauré and Strauss Sonatas, a 25-disc box set of his complete Deutsche Grammophon and Decca discography, and a 77-disc box set of his complete EMI/Teldec discography titled Itzhak Perlman: The Complete Warner Recordings.

In 2012, Sony released Eternal Echoes: Songs & Dances for the Soul, featuring a collaboration with acclaimed cantor Yitzchak Meir Helfgot in liturgical and traditional Jewish arrangements for chamber orchestra and klezmer musicians, and in 2010, Sony released a recording of Mendelssohn Piano Trios with cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Emanuel Ax. Highlights of albums over the last two decades have included a Deutsche Grammophon album with Mr. Perlman

conducting the Israel Philharmonic, a live recording with pianist Martha Argerich performing Beethoven and Franck Sonatas (EMI); Cinema Serenade featuring popular hits from movies with John Williams conducting (Sony); A la Carte, a recording of short violin pieces with orchestra (EMI) and In the Fiddler’s House, a celebration of klezmer music (EMI) that formed the basis of the PBS television special. In 2004, EMI released The Perlman Edition, a limitededition 15-CD box set featuring many of his finest EMI recordings as well as newly compiled material, and RCA Red Seal released a CD titled Perlman rediscovered, which includes material recorded in 1965 by a young Itzhak Perlman. Other recordings reveal Mr. Perlman’s devotion to education, including Concertos from my Childhood with the Juilliard Orchestra under Lawrence Foster (EMI) and Marita and her Heart’s Desire, composed and conducted by Bruce Adolphe (Telarc).

A major presence in the performing arts on television, Itzhak Perlman has been honored with four Emmy Awards, most recently for the PBS documentary Fiddling for the Future, a film about Mr. Perlman’s work as a teacher and conductor for the Perlman Music Program. In 2004, PBS aired a special entitled Perlman in Shanghai that chronicled a historic and unforgettable visit of the Perlman Music Program to China, featuring interaction between American and Chinese students and culminating in a concert at the Shanghai Grand Theater and a performance with one thousand young violinists, led by Mr. Perlman and broadcast throughout China. His third Emmy Award recognized his dedication to klezmer music, as profiled in the 1995 PBS television special In the Fiddler's House, which was filmed in Poland and featured him performing with four of the world’s finest klezmer bands.

Mr. Perlman has entertained and enlightened millions of TV viewers of all ages on popular shows as diverse as The Late Show with David Letterman, Sesame Street, The Frugal Gourmet, The Tonight Show, and various Grammy Awards telecasts.

His PBS appearances have included A Musical Toast and Mozart by the Masters, as well as numerous Live From Lincoln Center broadcasts such as The Juilliard School: Celebrating 100 Years. In 2008, he joined renowned chef Jacques Pépin on Artist’s Table to discuss the relationship between

the culinary and musical arts, and lent his voice as the narrator of Visions of Israel for PBS’s acclaimed Visions series. Mr. Perlman hosted the 1994 U.S. broadcast of the Three Tenors, Encore! live from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. During the 78th Annual Academy Awards in 2006, he performed a live medley from the five film scores nominated in the category of Best Original Score for a worldwide audience in the hundreds of millions. One of Mr. Perlman’s proudest achievements is his collaboration with film composer John Williams in Steven Spielberg’s Academy Award-winning film Schindler’s List, in which he performed the violin solos. He can also be heard as the violin soloist on the soundtrack of Zhang Yimou’s film Hero (music

by Tan Dun) and Rob Marshall’s Memoirs of a Geisha (music by John Williams).

Mr. Perlman has a long association with the Israel Philharmonic and has participated in many groundbreaking tours with this orchestra from his homeland. In 1987, he joined the IPO for history-making concerts in Warsaw and Budapest, representing the first performances by this orchestra and soloist in Eastern bloc countries. He again made history as he joined the orchestra for its first visit to the Soviet Union in 1990, and was cheered by audiences in Moscow and Leningrad who thronged to hear his recital and orchestral performances. This visit was captured on a PBS documentary entitled Perlman in Russia, which won an Emmy. In 1994, Mr. Perlman joined the Israel Philharmonic for their first visits to China and India.

Over the past two decades, Mr. Perlman has become more actively involved in music education, using this opportunity to encourage gifted young string players.

Alongside his wife Toby, his close involvement in the Perlman Music Program has been a particularly rewarding experience, and he has taught full-time at the Program each summer since its founding in 1993. Mr. Perlman currently holds the Dorothy Richard Starling Foundation Chair at the Juilliard School.

Numerous publications and institutions have paid tribute to Itzhak Perlman for the unique place he occupies in the artistic and humanitarian fabric of our times. Harvard, Yale, Brandeis, Roosevelt, Yeshiva and Hebrew universities are among the institutions that have awarded him honorary degrees. He was awarded an honorary doctorate and a centennial medal on the occasion of Juilliard’s 100th commencement ceremony in

2005. President Reagan honored Mr. Perlman with a Medal of Liberty in 1986, President Clinton awarded Mr. Perlman the National Medal of Arts in 2000, and in November 2015, President Obama bestowed Mr. Perlman with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Nation’s highest civilian honor. Itzhak Perlman’s presence on stage, on camera, and in personal appearances of all kinds speaks eloquently on behalf of the disabled, and his devotion to their cause is an integral part of his life.

Rohan De Silva Rohan De Silva’s partnerships with violin virtuosos Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, Cho-Liang Lin, Midori, Joshua Bell, Benny Kim, Kyoko Takezawa, Vadim Repin, Gil Shaham, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Julian Rachlin, James Ehnes and Rodney Friend have led to highly acclaimed performances at recital venues all over the world. With these and other artists he has performed on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall and Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center, Library of Congress, Philadelphia Academy of Music, Ambassador Theater in Los Angeles, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall in London, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, La Scala in Milan and in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Mr. De Silva’s festival appearances include Aspen, Ravinia, Interlochen, Seattle Chamber Music, Manchester, Schleswig-Holstein, Pacific Music Festival and the Wellington Arts Festival in New Zealand. He has performed chamber music in Beijing with the American String Quartet and has appeared in recital worldwide with Itzhak Perlman.

Alongside Mr. Perlman, Mr. De Silva has performed multiple times at the White House, most recently in 2012 at the invitation of President Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama for Israeli President and Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree Shimon Peres; and at a State Dinner in 2007, hosted by President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush for Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. A native of Sri Lanka, Mr. De Silva was invited in 2015 by the Prime Minister of his country to perform at a luncheon for U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on his historic visit to Sri Lanka.

In the 2015-16 season, Mr. De Silva performs with Itzhak Perlman in recitals that take them across North America, Asia and to Europe in

Mr. De Silva began his piano studies with his mother, the late Primrose De Silva, and with the late Mary Billimoria. He spent six years at the Royal Academy of Music in London as a student of Hamish Milne, Sydney Griller and Wilfred Parry. While in London, he received many awards including the Grover Bennett Scholarship, the Christian Carpenter Prize, the Martin Music Scholarship, the Harold Craxton Award for advanced study in England, and, upon his graduation, the Chappell Gold Medal for best overall performance at the Royal Academy. Mr. De Silva was the first recipient of a special Scholarship in the arts from the President's Fund of Sri Lanka. This enabled him to enter the Juilliard School, where he received both his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees, studying piano with Martin Canin, chamber music with Felix Galimir, and working closely with violin pedagogue Dorothy DeLay. He was awarded a special prize as Best Accompanist at the 1990 Ninth International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, and received the Samuel Sanders Collaborative Artist Award as presented to him by Itzhak Perlman at the 2005 Classical Recording Foundation Awards Ceremony at Carnegie Hall.

Mr. De Silva joined the collaborative arts and chamber music faculty of the Juilliard School in 1991, and in 1992 was awarded honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music. In 2015, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Music. In 2001, he joined the faculty at the Ishikawa Music Academy in Japan, where he gives masterclasses in collaborative piano. Mr. De Silva additionally has served as a faculty member at the Great Wall International Music Academy in Beijing, China, and at the International String Academy in Cambridge, U.K. since 2011. He was on the faculty of the Perlman Music Program from 2000 to 2007. Radio and television credits include PBS’s Live from Lincoln Center and the Colbert Report with Itzhak Perlman, The Tonight Show with Midori, CNN’s “Showbiz Today”, NHK Television in Japan, National Public Radio, WQXR and WNYC in New York, Berlin Radio, and the 2000 Millennium Grammy Awards. Mr. De Silva has recorded for Deutsche Grammophon, CBS/ SONY Classical, Collins Classics in London and RCA Victor.

Paul Anka Born July 30, 1941, in Ottawa into a tightknit Canadian family, Paul Anka didn't waste much time getting his life in music started.

He sang in the choir at Church and studied piano. He honed his writing skills with journalism courses, even working for a spell at the Ottawa Citizen. By 13, he had his own vocal group, the Bobbysoxers. He performed at every amateur night he could get to in his mother's car, unbeknownst to her of course.

Soon after, he won a trip to New York by winning a Campbell's soup contest for IGA Food Stores that required him to spend three months collecting soup can labels. It was there his dream was solidified, he was going to make it as a singer composer; there was not a doubt in his young tenacious mind.

In 1956, he convinced his parents to let him travel to Los Angeles, where he called every record company in the phone book looking for an audition. A meeting with Modern Records led to the release of Anka's first single, "Blau-Wile Deverest Fontaine." It was not a hit, but Anka kept plugging away, going so far to sneak into Fats Domino's dressing room to meet the man and his manager in Ottawa. When Anka returned New York in 1957, he scored a meeting with Don Costa, the A&R man for ABC-Paramount Records.

He played him a batch of songs that included "Diana" -- Costa was duly enthusiastic about the potential of the young singer and songwriter. The rapid and enormous success of "Diana"- his first number one hit -- made him a star.

"They are all very autobiographical," says Anka of his early hits. "I was alone, traveling, girls screaming, and I never got near them.

I'm a teenager and feeling isolated and all that. That becomes 'Lonely Boy.' At record hops, I'm up on stage and all these kids are holding each other with heads on each other's shoulders. Then I have to go have dinner in my room because there are thousands of kids outside the hotel -- 'Put Your Head on My Shoulder' was totally that experience.

Soon Paul found himself traveling by bus with the 'Cavalcade of Stars' with the top names of the day in the era of segregation, performing at the Copa Cabana, the youngest entertainer ever to do so, and honing his craft surrounded by the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Frankie Lyman,

and Chuck Berry.

By the time the Beatles arrived in the sixties, Anka had another tool in his survival kit. "After a few hits," he says, "I knew I was a writer, and with writers, the power was always in the pen. When I started writing for Buddy Holly and Connie Francis, I felt that it made me different for people -- they'd say, 'Hey, you can write, you can fall back on something."

Among his proudest accomplishments was writing the Academy Award-nominated theme for The Longest Day, the 1962 film in which he also starred.

Songwriting and performing "are what gave me the confidence to keep going," he says.

Becoming a junior associate of Sinatra and the Rat Pack also had its privileges. By the '70s, the success of "My Way" and a string of hits like "(You're) Having My Baby" confirmed his status as an icon of popular music. His later achievements as a recording artist included "Hold Me 'Til the Morning Comes," a hit duet with Peter Cetera in 1983, the Spanish-language album Amigos in 1996, and Body of Work, a 1998 duets album that featured Frank Sinatra, Celine Dion, Patti LaBelle, Tom Jones and daughter Anthea Anka. If this wasn't enough, it was revealed upon its release in 2009, that Anka co-wrote Michael Jackson's posthumous #1 worldwide hit, "This Is It," which has further cemented his place upon the most prolific and versatile songwriters of any generation.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Anka's two most recent albums -- Rock Swings and now Classic Songs, My Way -- ingeniously featured songs originally created by some of the biggest rock performers of the day -- as well as other established artists across several genres. The twist: Paul Anka did the songs 'his way.' His goal: "taking great songs and rework them so they're natural for me." With the help of his five daughters, Anka spent months researching music from the '80s and '90s, trying to find the songs that would work in the radical new context he proposed.

The songs that made the cut included Bon Jovi's "It's My Life," Lionel Richie's "Hello" and Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven." Even more dramatic were his transformations of "Wonderwall" by Oasis, "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Spend The Night with Alice Cooper Alice Cooper pioneered a grandly theatrical brand of hard rock that was designed to shock. Drawing equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors. He continues to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide with the dark and horror-themed theatrics that he’s best known for.

With a schedule that includes six months each year on the road, Alice Cooper brings his own brand of rock psycho-drama to fans both old and new, enjoying it as much as the audience does. Known as the architect of shock-rock, Cooper (in both the original Alice Cooper band and as a solo artist) has rattled the cages and undermined the authority of generations of guardians of the status quo, continuing to surprise fans and exude danger at every turn, like a great horror movie, even in an era where CNN can present real life shocking images.

Cooper was born in Detroit Michigan, and moved to Phoenix with his family. The Alice Cooper band formed while they were all in high school in Phoenix, and was discovered in 1969 by Frank Zappa in Los Angeles, where he signed them to his record label. Their collaboration with young record producer Bob Ezrin led to the break-through third album “Love It to Death” which hit the charts in 1971, followed by “Killer,” “School’s Out,” ”Billion Dollar Babies,” and “Muscle of Love.”

Each new album release was accompanied by a bigger and more elaborate touring stage show. 1974 saw the release of a “Greatest Hits” album, and then Cooper, in 1975, released his first solo album, “Welcome to My Nightmare” in 1975, accompanied by the legendary groundbreaking theatrical Welcome to My Nightmare concert tour.

Associated with that album and tour was the ground-breaking network TV special Alice Cooper: The Nightmare. Other film and television appearances include The Muppet Show, Mae West’s last film Sextette, Roadie, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearst Club Band and appearances on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson and Tom Snyder’s Tomorrow Show. The original band also made an appearance in the movie Diary of a Mad Housewife in 1979, filmed the fulllength feature film Good To See You Again

Alice Cooper, and Alice appeared in a 1972 episode of The Snoop Sisters.

Alice's solo career skyrocketed in the late 1970's, with a succession of hit singles, including "You & Me," and classic albums, including "Lace And Whiskey" and "From The Inside," and bigger and even more elaborate concert tours.

In the ‘80’s Cooper explored different sounds, highlighted by the new wavish album “Flush The Fashion,” the heavy metal “Constrictor” and "Raise Your Fist And Yell," and then 1989’s melodic hard rock album “Trash,” which featured the massive hit single “Poison” and became his biggest selling album and single worldwide. During this period Alice also appeared in the horror films Monster Dog and John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness, and recorded songs for the soundtracks to Roadie, Class of 1984, Friday the 13 Part VI: Jason Lives and Wes Craven's Shocker.

Cooper’s most memorable movie appearance was as himself in Wayne’s World in 1991. He also played (fittingly) Freddy Krueger’s wicked step-father in Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare, and appeared on Gene Wilder’s TV series Something Wilder as well as on That ‘70’s Show. The 90’s also saw the release of the albums “Hey Stoopid,” “The Last Temptation,” and “Fistful of Alice,” a live album.

1999 saw the release of the definitive historical 4 CD box set "The Life & Crimes of Alice Cooper," from Rhino/Warners.

In the new millenium, Cooper has been very productive and busy, writing, recording and releasing the albums “Brutal Planet,” “Dragon Town,” “The Eyes of Alice Cooper,” “Dirty Diamonds," “Along Came a Spider,” and 2011's "Welcome 2 My Nightmare," plus "Old School 1964-1974," a box set celebrating the original band.

Alice has been touring consistently, year in and year out, averaging over 80 concerts annually, both within the USA and internationally, with his band which features the three guitar attack of guitarists Ryan Roxie, Nita Strauss, and Tommy Henriksen, plus the rhythm section of drummer Glen Sobel and longtime bassist Chuck Garric.

He also wrote and published a memoir, "Golf Monster," in 2007, which tracked his life from childhood to rock stardom, and his

journey from alcoholic to golf addict, and was featured in the Tim Burton film "Dark Shadows" in 2012.

Alice's 2011 album "Welcome 2 My Nightmare" featured a return to his partnership with longtime collaborator, producer Bob Ezrin, as well as contributions from former original Alice Cooper bandmates Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith and Michael Brucem and a return to the themes of the iconic 1975 "Welcome To My Nightmare" album.

Alice, Dennis, Neal, Michael, and the late Glen Buxton (posthumously) were inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in March, 2011.

2014 saw the release of "Super Duper Alice Cooper," a documentary detailing the arc of Alice's rollercoaster ride in the world of rock superstardom. Directed and produced by the same team from Banger Films that delivered the award-winning Iron Maiden

and Rush documentaries, it premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC, and has since been released on Blu-Ray and DVD by Eagle Rock Entertainment With his influence on rock & roll long since acknowledged, there is little that Alice Cooper hasn't achieved in his remarkable career, including platinum albums, sold-out tours and any number of honors and career achievement awards.

As he heads back out on the concert trail each year, Cooper insists he's still motivated to continue touring and recording albums, as well as making time for such side projects as Cooper'stown (his Phoenix-based restaurant/sports bar) and his "Nights With Alice Cooper" nightly radio show, syndicated domestically and worldwide on over 100 stations.

An Evening with Matthew Morrison Matthew Morrison is a versatile actor who is recognized for his work on-stage and onscreen. He has been nominated for Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.

Morrison starred as “J.M Barrie” in the Harvey Weinstein musical “Finding Neverland” through January, 2016. The Broadway production is an adaptation of the 2004 film written by David Magee. The story follows the relationship between Barrie and the Davies family, who became the author’s inspiration for the creation of Peter Pan. In 2015, Morrison wrapped the final season of Fox’s musical comedy series “Glee,” where he starred as the director of the glee club, “Mr. Schuester,” The show was created by Ryan Murphy and received the Golden Globe award “Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical” in 2010 and 2011.

Morrison was the first artist signed to Adam Levine’s record label, 222 Records, where he released his Broadway standards album, “Where it All Began,” in June 2013.

In 2012, Morrison starred in the Lionsgate film, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” which was based on the book of the same name, directed by Kirk Jones. The film also starred Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez and Dennis Quaid among others. Morrison played

a famous dance show star who is faced with the unexpected demands of fatherhood. The film was released on May 18, 2012.

In March 2012, Morrison hosted and narrated the PBS special entitled “Oscar Hammerstein II- Out of My Dreams,” which focused on the Broadway producers’ life and career. Also in March 2014, Morrison was featured in a performance of Dustin Lance Black’s play, ‘8’ – a staged reenactment of the federal trial that overturned California’s Prop 8 ban on same-sex marriage. The performance raised money for the American Foundation for Equal Rights.

Morrison studied musical theater, vocal performance and dance at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He made his debut on Broadway in “Footloose” but his big break came when he was cast as heartthrob Link Larkin in the hit “Hairspray.”

Morrison was later nominated for a Tony Award for his role in “The Light in the Piazza,” and received a Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for “10 Million Miles.” He also starred in the Tony-winning revival of “South Pacific” at Lincoln Center Theater in New York.

Morrison currently resides in New York.

Gregory Porter Ever-dapper in his Kangol Summer Spitfire hat, suit jacket and wooden-wristband Nixon watch, Gregory Porter is discussing his new single. A rolling piano, organ and brasspowered soul-jazz number, it’s called Musical Genocide. It’s a provocative title – was that intentional?

“Well…” begins this Grammy-winning singer/ songwriter/entertainer with a chuckle.

“It’s a provocative title in the sense that unfortunately the word carries significance in our history – and still does. So I meant it to be provocative in that way. But as the first lines say: ‘I do not agree, this is not for me…’”

So while, yes, “on a larger level I’m talking about that,” Porter’s song has typically multiple layers. Musical Genocide isn’t the only song on his acclaimed third album Liquid Spirit that talks about the record industry. “If you manufacture everything; if you shy away from the organic artist who’s gone through something in his life to try figure out music; if you’re only going for the sexiest, newest thing… Well, that’ll be the death of blues, of soul… So that’s what I mean.”

Luckily, this charismatic Californian is here to breathe life, and vitality, and fun, and excitement, and passion, and honesty into the musical genres he has loved from boyhood, ever since Nat “King” Cole entered his heart. It’s the central message of the album’s title: Porter is here with Liquid Spirit, offering up a replenishing, satisfying brew. As the 200,000 fans who’ve bought his albums in Germany will attest, or as the British listeners who have heard him light up the airwaves at 6 Music and BBC Radio 2 will agree, or as the lucky crowds who’ve seen him at Cheltenham Jazz Festival or playing with Gilles Peterson or his set just before Stevie Wonder at Calling Festival can vouchsafe: you can drink deep of Gregory Porter. And the best kind of intoxication will follow.

As the lyrics to his foot-stomping, highclapping title track have it: “Un-reroute the rivers, let the dammed water be, there’s some people down the way that’s thirsty, so let the liquid spirit free…’”

It’s a sentiment that’s of a piece with the slow burning success of Liquid Spirit, released last autumn as the first fruits of Porter’s new

worldwide deal with Blue Note Records, and now back in the UK mainstream charts and nearing the Top 10.

“The word-of-mouth quality of this record, and even my first two, is a positive thing in a way,” affirms this big-voiced, big-hearted man who’s as adept at covers of The “In” Crowd and jazz standard I Fall In Love Too Easily as he is at singing his own compositions. “When you say the people are thirsty – they want something. And not speaking narcissistically, everything they want is contained in me!

But I do know that people are thirsting for something musical. And they come to me after a concert and say: where you been?’

And sometimes,” he acknowledges with a grin, “I think they don’t even mean me – it’s a feeling they get inside once they hear something I’ve done.”

Where he’s been is slowly, measuredly building his craft. It’s a work ethic – dogged, patient, respectful – that Porter learned at his mother’s knee in Bakersfield, California.

A single parent to eight children, and a “storefront minister”, she’s paid tribute to on the simple, elegant, brushed-snares album track When Love Is King: “He lifted up the underneath, all of his wealth he did bequeath… of hungry children first He’d think to pull their lives up from the brink…”

“These are all concerns she’s had, the philosophies she instilled in me. If there was somebody on the edge who needed just a little help to get back, whether spiritually, food, housing, clothing… That was her thing.

She as a storefront minister who wanted to go where people are dazed and confused and lost. Kids walking around who didn’t know where their daddy was. She wanted to go where there was trouble.”

Often times that trouble rolled right up to the Porter kids’ front door. The Klu Klux Klan was active in Bakersfield, and young Gregory and his brothers regularly ran the gauntlet of racial hate.

“It was intense,” he says simply. “But my mother protected us and shielded us from that – psychologically as well. But at the same time we still had cool friends, basketball games and summer league. So there were two kinds of worlds going on.”

There were also many musical words.

Bakersfield was an epicentre of country

music. But it’s mostly migrated population – from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi – had also brought with it gospel, blues, rhythm and blues, jazz, soul.

“I was singing that music of a bygone era with these old church members that my mother would associate with. And that still informs my music. Liquid Spirit is directly from that.”

This rich mixture goes some way to explaining the power and impact of Porter’s music. But he’s the first to admit that it also means it can be confusing to purists.

“I’m fully aware that everything I do doesn’t adequately please jazz traditionalists,” he says with a shrug. But he likes it that way – likes being able to appeal to the Cheltenham Jazz crowds and the younger fans of Peterson, the respected, genre-hopping DJ doyen.

“I laugh at the mix of people who show up at shows. I realise I have to give them all something – and something for all of them exists in me. There are songs that a 68-yearold grandma likes. And there are hard-hitting, more bass- and funk-infused things. That’s part of my vocabulary as well. And I don’t do them as a separate part of the show – they comingle and co-exist. Which is something I’ve done with everything – racially, politically. I’m trying to find that happy medium.”

All of which has conspired to take Gregory Porter a long way from Bakersfield. These days he lives in Brooklyn with his wife and 18-month-old son. But, actually, mostly he lives on the road.

“It’s intense,” he nods of the familial absence that’s been amplified by the international success of Liquid Spirit. “It’s intense,” he repeats. “I go home and he tries not to let me go the day that I’m there. He knows that if I have a 5am wake-up for a flight, he knows I’m up and liable to be gone for two, three weeks.

And that’s a long time in his memory. That’s half his life!

“But one thing I’ve realised is that with all three of these records, I don’t shy away from uncomfortable or painful situations in my life. So that’s the emotions that that brings.

Today, before I came here, I was working on a song called Cornbread And Caviar Dreams, which is about my son. My wife is Russian, and of course my mother made great cornbread,” he laughs. “So that’s painful. But I’m figuring it out. I want him to hear the message in When Love Was King. I hope he has thought and empathy for other people, and mutual respect. He has some say in this record.

And true to his positive mindset, Porter uses the separation, and the travelling, and alchemises it into something magical on stage.

“In a way, jetlag and the punishing schedule can actually take me there more,” he says of his onstage mindset. “The band will be like, ‘Greg, you ain’t got to sing that hard!’ But that feeling of exhaustion makes me think of my family or my mother or a situation or a struggle. When I sing Work Song it makes me think of my mother and how hard she worked. And it makes me work harder.”

And when he’s not working, this stylish man is relaxing by entertaining in another way.

“I love cooking, and I love having friends over.

I think of music in the same way I think about food, in the serving aspect – you put a plate of food in front of a friend and it feels good, they’re nourished. I think about music like that. And the things that I’m good at are these nourishing things – music, food…. I used to be into massage. Giving, not receiving! And then some other things that you don’t need to know about!” he adds with a hearty laugh.

But in the end it always comes back to the music. For Gregory Porter the songs, and their messages, and their power, literally are the be-all and end-all.

“I’m trying to come honestly, really trying to be unpretentious. I’m trying to be appealing, even as a jazz artist, to the non-jazz head.

Trying to speak to them as well. I want to speak to the human heart.

“And I’m gonna keep on trying to do my thing,” he smiles. “Really, I’m married to music. And whether people keep on buying my records or not, or keep on coming to the shows or not, I’m still gonna sing. I’m amazed and thankful and blown away that I’ve had these opportunities. But if they take it away, I’m cool. I’ve still got my songs,” Porter concludes, beaming expansively. “I swear to God I am cool!”

That he is. They don’t come much cooler than Gregory Porter.

She's all about that bass... and more!

Right now, Ashlynn can play the piano, guitar, bass, drums and ukulele. But, she's not stopping there! Her goal is to learn how to play 10 instruments!

Total bookworm!

When she's not on stage, you can find her reading a novel or writing down lyrics to

an original song. You might even find her sketching some fashion designs for a new look she's putting together.

Favorite artists: Jessie J, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith and Ingrid Michaelson Sela 15 Years Old San Antonio, Texas Just one of the guys She's used to hangin' with the boys, because she has three older brothers. You can usually find Sela and her bros cheering for her favorite NBA team: the San Antonio Spurs!

Piece of cake Sela can never turn down a slice of her favorite dessert - chocolate cake! She can, however, say "no" to anything with peanut butter. She just doesn't like the taste!

Go fish!

When she's not rockin' out on stage, Sela loves to enjoy the great outdoors. This adventure-seeking girl is always ready to go camping, hiking and fishing.

What's cookin?

Talk about master chef! From tacos to macn-cheese, Sela is all about getting creative in the kitchen. Her go-to meal is a burrito with a mix of black & pinto beans, white rice, chicken, cheese and tomatoes.

Go to your (very clean) room!

Sela is a total neat-freak, and always keeps her room super clean. In fact, a messy room is her biggest pet-peeve. That might be because she spent a lot of time beautifying her room with her mom, who is a professional decorator!

Favorite artists: Tori Kelly, Sia, Demi Lovato and Paramore Matt 12 Years Old North Bergen, New Jersey LOL! Total Class Clown!

Matt is a jokester, and loves to laugh! He always searches the web for the funniest video of the week, but the person that makes him laugh the most is Grant from The KIDZ BOP Kids!

Out of this world!

If you ask Matt if he believes in aliens, he'll say YES. Only because he's scared that if he says no, extraterrestrials will come down adn abduct him!

And the Oscar goes to...

Matt's dream is to becoem a Hollywood director, and he gets a lot of practice in when he's home. He loves breaking out the camera to direct movies with his brother, Michael. He even writes and edits them.

Good jeans, better genes!

It's no surprise where Matt got his musical abilities - Matt's mom is a dance teacher, and his dad is a professional drummer!

Sooo artsy Matt's favorite subject in school is art. He loves to get imaginative, and is happy anytime he can paint, draw or create something new.

Grant 13 Years Old Dallas, TX Grant's favorite movie is sky high.. for a reason!

Grant loves an adventure: from hiking, to zip-lining and crazy roller coasters - he's all about the rush. Next on his bucket list: go sky-diving!

Puppy love <3 He is a dog-lover! Grant has three dogs: two dachshunds named Stogie and Max and an adorable yorkie, Priscilla.

Move over, Mozart!

Grant is an expert on teh piano, thanks to YouTube! He taught himself how to play by watching tutorials online. He is working on perfecting the guitar next!

Feeling crabby?

Grant's favorite food is crab legs! In fact, his family has a tradition of eating them every New Year's Eve. Pop, lock & shop it!

Grant has been dancing since he was 7 yearsold and hasn't stopped since! His favorite style is hip-hop. One day, he hopes to design his own line of hip-hop clothes.

The Stand-Up Comedy of Kevin James Kevin James is the producer, co-writer, and star of the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 & 2, Zookeeper and Here Comes The Boom.

James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom.

The King of Queens, which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing, and it garnered him an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world.

In 2001, James brought his stand-up act to TV with Sweat the Small Stuff, a one-hour special for Comedy Central. In 2005, Kevin James and Ray Romano executive produced and starred in the HBO Sports Special

Making the Cut: The Road to Pebble Beach; a documentary about the Pebble Beach Pro Am Golf Tournament that was nominated for a Sports Emmy.

James made his feature film debut in 2005 in Columbia Picturesâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; Hitch starring opposite Will Smith, and starred alongside Adam Sandler in Pixels, Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

In addition to his on-camera work, Jamesâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s voice has been featured in the animated films Barnyard for Nick Movies, as well as Monster House, Hotel Transylvania, and its sequel for Sony Pictures Animation.

James recently wrapped on the feature, True Memoirs of an International Assassin, for Netflix. James is returning to television with a new sitcom for Sony Television and CBS which will shoot in New York this summer.

Main Lobby Building Project The Mayo Performing Arts Center has completed renovating and expanding its main lobby and plaza area. The Campaign for the Project exceeded its goal and raised over $2.5 million in gifts and pledges.
