His latest New York Times bestseller, On Democracies and Death Cults: Israel and the Future of Civilization (2025), draws from intensive on-the-ground reporting

Jessica Yellin Jessica Yellin is the founder of News Not Noise, a pioneering Webby awardwinning digital news brand dedicated to helping audiences manage information overload. News Not Noise delivers fact-driven information in context — designed to keep you informed without overwhelming you. Therapists often prescribe it as an antidote to news anxiety.

A graduate of Harvard University and the Westlake School for Girls, Yellin is a former chief White House correspondent for CNN and an Emmy, Peabody, and Gracie Award-winning political correspondent for ABC, MSNBC, and CNN. Early to recognize the shift in trust from institutions to individuals, she was one of the first national journalists to launch an independent news brand in 2018. META used her straight-to-camera videos to train newsrooms worldwide on reporting news for social media.

Yellin’s work has been published in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and the Los Angeles Times. She sits

on the advisory board for the Poynter Institute and brings 17+ years of TV news experience to her mission of rebuilding trust in journalism. Her novel, Savage News, is available from HarperCollins.
