The Riverdance Irish Dance Troupe are world-class Irish dancers. They hail mostly from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain, the United States, Canada and Australia. Between them the dancers can boast of hundreds of championships won in Ireland and abroad. Most started dancing at a young age at local dance schools and progressed to world championship level before being chosen to perform in Riverdance. The dancers would have known and competed against each other at various competitions, including the World Championships. Riverdance has given them the opportunity to perform together in a noncompetitive way. The grace and eloquence of their softshoe dance and the power and precision of their hard-shoe routines clearly display the endless hours of practice and their dedication to the art of Irish Dance.

Members of the Encore Society enjoy special benefits and privileges including invitations to an annual Encore Society event; invitations to tours and select performances, and recognition in MPAC’s e-newsletter and website. With a planned gift, such as a bequest, you can help MPAC in its mission of bringing the finest performing arts to our community, providing arts education to all ages, and operating and maintaining our beautiful facility. Your support will strengthen MPAC and create a lasting legacy for generations to come.
If you are considering a gift to us, please visit our website at www.MayoArts.org/support/ planned-giving. Download and return the Intent of Planned Gift form, or contact Marysue DePaola, Development Director, at 973-5390345 ext. 6503 or MDepaola@MayoArts.org for more information.
