pnoé: A mixed-use space that addresses the body, the mind and the soul with the aim to promote a modern way of living a more conscious and balanced life in the area of Ancoats. The philosophy derived from the Ancient Greek quote “Pan Metron Ariston” which
means “Everything in moderation” and responds to the excess of living in a fast-paced city where it invites people of all age to slow down and take a break.
An open-plan space that incorporates design elements such as a main feature staircase and a connecting walking path to encourage movement throughout the building. The space also emphasizes the importance of nature by adding natural elements such as plants that travel up the double height space.
“Let food be the medicine and medicine be the food”. Hippocrates
The host building, located on George Leigh Street in Ancoats, was once a place for teaching, learning and socialising. These elements are threaded back into the concept of pnoé as it encourages healthy habits by offering a range of different movement classes, healthy eating, various workshops, and weekly seminars related to well-being topics.

A flower workshop surrounded in greenery, animating the under-used bus infrastructure in Cyprus with the aim of bringing people together, to socialize and hopefully change the perception of public transport.
Cyprus’s public infrastructure is purely based on the bus, and yet it’s still a very under-used service.
People prefer to use their cars and rely on its convenience, whoever, making it an unsustainable factor.
Having conversations with both users of the bus service as well as people who prefer to use their own cars, proved that the choice of not using the bus service was not only due to its convenience, but also because of the lack of something joyful.
A pop-up that seeks to not only promote its olive-based hand cream but also the mindful approach behind the brand’s philosophy. A sphere-shaped timber structure with airy fabric, intended to resemble a deconstructed tree trunk. People are invited to enter the space, take a break and escape from the hectic fast-paced city life. The pop-up is aimed for health-conscious individuals who are interested in natural, organic, and non-toxic skin and body care products.
