DAY 1 Depart the USA: Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Florence, Italy.

DAY 2 Florence, Italy: Upon arrival in Florence, you’ll be met by a Mayflower Cruises & Tours representative and transferred to your hotel in Florence. Flights should arrive by 3:30pm. Explore your new surroundings, then join your Tour Manager and fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at the hotel. Meal: D

Continue by coach to Pisa to witness its iconic landmarks: Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower. Your local guide will explain the history of this beautiful little town as you walk through the square, admiring the beauty and architecture of another of Tuscany’s medieval cities. Return to the hotel in Florence for the evening at leisure. Meal: B

DAY 5

San Miniato: A local experience awaits as you take part in a truffle hunt! Head for the hills of San Miniato by coach where you’ll meet up with the truffle hunters and their dogs. Learn all about the world of truffles from the different types and how to search for them to how they are grown and cooked. The training of the dogs is also shared as part of the experience. After the hunt, visit the truffle hunter’s house for a welcome toast, then enjoy tasting the San Miniato truffle at a local restaurant. Return to the hotel in Florence after this unique adventure. DAY 6

Florence / San Gimignano / Siena: It’s time to depart Florence and travel to another area of Tuscany…Siena. En route, visit the walled, hilltop-town of San Gimignano,

a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its medieval towers, Duomo, and numerous art treasures. Today’s treat will be the hands-on pasta-making class where your host will explain the origins of Tuscan cuisine and lead you through the process of kneading, pulling and cutting the dough and preparing the sauce with aromatic herbs, and local ingredients. After dining on your homemade creation for lunch, top it off with dessert from one of San Gimignano’s famous gelateria’s, Dondoli, whose owner has won numerous awards for his Gelato which uses Italiangrown ingredients. Learn the difference between ice cream and gelato and sample a few flavors during the visit. Arrival in Siena concludes the day. Meals: B, L

DAY 7

Siena: During this morning’s guided walking tour of Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, become acquainted with its artistic masterpieces including the cathedral complex and the Piazza del Campo – home of the famous Palio horse race. After the orientation of the town, meander through its charming lanes, lined with shops of ceramics and other local products, climb the bell tower, or simply relax during your free time. Meal: B

DAY 8 Pienza: Journey by coach along one of the most panoramic roads of Tuscany on your way to the renaissance town of Pienza. Along the way, enjoy photo stops to capture the magnificent scenery and landscapes of the Crete Senesi. Upon arrival in Pienza, visit a local organic farm, meet the owner and learn how the worldfamous Pienza sheep cheese is made. Explore the farm with the owner, see the stables and aging rooms of the cheese, along with a demonstration of the process of this ancient art. A highlight of the visit may be the tasting of the product during the light lunch at the farm. The guided walking tour of Pienza will have you admiring the architectural jewels of the main square, Piazzo Pio II, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home of the town’s main monuments and cathedral. DAY 9 Siena / Arezzo / Florence: Departing Siena, travel to Arezzo, a city of ancient Etruscan origins. Discover the highlights during a guided walking tour, seeing the Corso Rossellino with the Piccolomini Palace, Piazza Pio II housing the Cathedral and Town Hall, Piazza Grande - the most notable medieval square in the city, and the Church of San Francesco. Enjoy one final cultural activity with a visit to a century-old hamlet, surrounded by acres of organic land. Learn the processes for making extra-

DAY 3 Sorrento: The day begins with a guided orientation tour of Sorrento. As you stroll through the pedestrian streets, filled with local shops, see the main sites, including Piazza Tasso, the entrance to the old quarter. The story of the rise and fall of this ancient city comes to life as your local guide explains the events of that fateful day while you stroll through the grounds of this amazing site. Archaeological excavations have uncovered remarkable relics, many fully intact, from this once prosperous city. Return to Sorrento mid-afternoon and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. DAY 6 Capri: The island of Capri is an area of breathtaking beauty with olive trees, grapevines and

flowers providing a Mediterranean charm. Today’s excursion begins with a short drive to the harbor in Sorrento to board the hydrofoil. Venice: Venice is the “Jewel of the Mediterranean”, a glorious cityscape with a wondrous artistic and musical heritage. The city itself boasts a marvel of engineering feats, built on 118 small islands crossed by its world-famous canals. Who can think of romance without imagining a pair of lovers floating beneath graceful bridges in a Venetian gondola?

During the included walking tour, your local guide will help you discover the exotic sights that surround you as you navigate the picturesque alleyways and cross bridges over the quaint canals filled with gondolas. See the soaring domes of St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doges Palace and Bridge of Sighs among other sites of this remarkable city built on water. DAY 4 Venice – Florence – Montecatini: This morning, depart Venice on a high-speed train to Florence. What a great way to travel as you watch picturesque hill towns, lush vineyards and beautiful wineries pass by. Upon arrival, walk in the footsteps of great rulers, artists and philosophers as you explore Florence, the breathtaking capital of the Italian Renaissance, on the included walking tour. The city is steeped in the achievements of great minds who found inspiration here. A visit to the famous Accademia Gallery is included where you’ll get an up-close view of Michelangelo’s masterpiece, David. Undoubtedly the world’s most famous sculpture, the museum also houses five other Michelangelo sculptures - the four unfinished Prisoners and St. Matthew - and a collection of Gothic and Renaissance paintings that were once in the Medici collections. After the tour, enjoy your free time shopping for Italian leather goods, art and crystal as lovely reminders of your journey through Italy. DAY 5 Siena: After breakfast enjoy an included excursion to Siena. This is one of Italy’s most popular destinations,

known for its fine cuisine, art, museums, medieval cityscape and the Palio, a horse race held twice a year in the Piazza del Campo. Your local guide will walk with you through this beautiful Tuscan town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the highlights of the city, including the Duomo of Siena, the 12th-century cathedral that serves as a splendid example of Italian RomanesqueGothic architecture. See the Palazzo Pubblico, once City Hall, now an art museum, showcasing its famous frescoes or climb the “Torre del Mangia”, the tall bell tower overlooking the Piazza del Campo. Siena is also known for its glazed terracotta pottery as well as locally produced wines and olive oil. Be sure to taste the delicious gelato and panforte, a cake made with honey and candied fruits. With a history spanning more than 2,500 years, Rome offers a breathtaking overview of the highlights of Western civilization. From the remarkable Coliseum to the gorgeous Trevi Fountain, this bustling metropolis invites you to imagine life centuries ago as you gaze upon memorials to ancient civilizations. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and a guided visit to the Coliseum. Built between 70-80 AD, the Coliseum is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and engineering, and remains the largest amphitheater in the world. The tour ends at the hotel. View the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, Maritime Museum, numerous palaces, and the Old Square where the atmosphere of this medieval town is truly felt. Continue to Budva, a unique walled city on the sea, for a tour with a local guide before the short ferry crossing along the Bay of Kotor and return to Dubrovnik. Meal: B

DAY 5 Ston /Orebic / Korčula: Today’s adventure discovers the island of Korčula, birthplace of the legendary explorer Marco Polo. Reach the island by boat departing from Orebic on the Peljesac peninsula. One of the greenest islands in the Adriatic Sea, the name comes from the Greeks, meaning ‘Black Corfu’, for its dark, densely wooded appearance. Explore the town on a guided walking tour, passing its typical medieval architecture, including towers and clusters of red-roofed houses. Enroute back to Dubrovnik, stop in a cozy village to visit a winery and taste the local product. DAY 6 Dubrovnik – Trogir – Split: Departing Dubrovnik, travel to the town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The small, historic center of this medieval town resembles an outdoor museum, and the streets boast magnificent Romanesque churches and beautiful

examples of Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Discover these sights with a local guide during a walking tour. Continue by coach to Split, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and Croatia’s grand 1,700-year-old city.

At the heart of the waterfront is Diocletian’s Palace, the 3rd-century ‘retirement home’ intended for the Roman Emperor of the same name. DAY 7 Krka National Park / Šibenik: Natural beauty awaits as you visit Krka National Park. Walk through the park with a local guide and witness magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski Buk Falls – one of Croatia’s most famous sights. As Europe’s largest waterfall, it consists of a chain of cascades, islands and lakes. The park is rich with a variety of flora and fauna, including sixty species and subspecies of plant life. Departing the national park, continue to Šibenik, one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic Coast. DAY 9 Plitvice – Postojna, Slovenia – Ljubljana: It’s time to leave Croatia and cross the border into Slovenia, home to the world’s most captivating cave. Tour Postojna Cave, a fantastic subterranean world, on an unforgettable miniature electric train ride followed by a walk with the local guide. Shaped by tiny droplets of water over millions of years, the caves are an underground paradise with magnificent formations and diverse fauna. DAY 10 Bled: Today’s adventure is the visit to Bled, situated on the pristine shores of Lake Bled in the spectacular Julian Alps. Depart Slovenia with sightseeing enroute to the final destination of Vienna, Austria’s capital city. Visit Maribor, one of the most important cultural centers of Slovenia. A local guide will point out the highlights and you’ll see its historic castle which has remained practically unchanged since the 15th century. In the center of town, see the Old Vine, the oldest vine in the world. With an age spanning 400 years, it’s in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the oldest noble vine in the world still bearing grapes! After a wine-tasting, travel to Austria and enjoy a stop in Graz, whose historic center is one of the best-preserved in Central Europe. DAY 4 Athens – Mykonos: Today is the beginning of your island-hopping adventure. Departing Athens by coach, transfer to the port of Piraeus for embarkation of the highspeed ferry. Enjoy the ride traversing the Aegean Sea, en route to the island of Mykonos. Often called the “Jewel of the Aegean,” it is the most popular of the Greek Islands with its well-preserved windmills, red-roofed churches

and whitewashed buildings. Upon arrival, a city tour will show you the highlights of the island including some of its popular beaches, the traditional village of Ano Mera and the typical village square surrounded by small Greek tavernas.

During the walking portion, your local guide will take you through the meandering alleyways and narrow streets of the town, passing through the historic center and seeing the windmills, Little Venice, Paraportiani Church and Kastro area. DAY 5 Mykonos: Enjoy cultural immersion as you are introduced to the healthy secrets of olives and olive oils. At a local venue, an olive expert will teach you about the different types of oils, how they are categorized, and how to pair them with food. Between 1940 and 1945 more than one million prisoners perished in the gas chambers of this Nazi concentration camp. In 1947, the Polish government preserved these grounds as a State Museum and in 1979 it also became a UNESCO World Heritage Site, symbolizing the horrors of the Holocaust. The visit includes a film showing the camp’s liberation, the flowerstrewn Death Wall, national memorials, the railway line and the remains of hundreds of barracks, all of which constitute a moving testimony to the number of lives lost. DAY 4 Helsinki / Suomenlinna Island: Today’s excursion starts with a short walk to the ferry for a ride to Suomenlinna Island, off the coast of Helsinki. The island remains home to 850 inhabitants, buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, and is of historical importance from when Finland was under Swedish and Russian rule. During a visit to the Island Museum, learn how the 250-year-old fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, had a major role in the wars against these two countries. An audio-visual presentation details the construction of the fortress and exhibits in the museum detail its history. After the museum visit, a stop is included at the local island brewery for you to sample some of the Finnish brews. Return to Helsinki by ferry for a bit of free time before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant. Meals: B, D

DAY 5 Helsinki / Porvoo: Take a step back in time during the visit to picturesque Porvoo, Finland’s second-oldest city. Meander through the cobblestone lanes of its wooden Old Town with a local guide as you hear about the history of this city that has maintained its character from the Middle Ages. See the red warehouses, reminiscent of the former trading days, that still line the medieval harbor. Today they are a symbol of the city and one of the most photographed landscapes in the country. See for yourself why many sculptors and artists were drawn to the charms of Porvoo and enjoy some free time to experience the galleries, shops and cafés. Continue to Malmgarden for a visit of its Manor house. Belonging to the Creutz family for over 400 years, its current resident, Count Johan Creutz, is focusing on modernizing the estate. Your host will show you around the manor and the organic farm and ecobrewery that now exist on the grounds. Sample the beer or cider made onsite before returning to Helsinki for the remainder of the day at leisure. Meal: B

DAY 6 Helsinki – Rovaniemi: Leaving the capital, return to the airport for the flight to Rovaniemi and the start of your adventure in Lapland. Upon arrival, the coach will

be waiting to take you on a brief panoramic orientation tour and to a secret location to begin your immersion into the local culture. Gather in a cozy Lappish teepee or other unique ‘structure’ and meet the Sharman who will cast magic spells as you sip reindeer milk to discover its strengthening powers. At the conclusion of the ceremony, receive an official “Crossing the Arctic Circle” certificate. Next, it’s time to meet their most famous resident – Santa Claus! No visit to Lapland is complete without visiting Santa Claus Village! Visit his base of operations in the Arctic Circle and meet the man himself. DAY 7 Rovaniemi: Today’s experience is all about the local inhabitants: reindeer. Begin the day with an Arctic reindeer safari. Meet the herder and learn how they raise and treat the animals. Sit back and relax as you depart on a sleigh ride, pulled by reindeer, through the pristine winter wonderland. After the safari, enjoy lunch by an open fire in a traditional Finnish cottage. This afternoon, learn about the ‘secret of the antler’ during a workshop presentation. The antlers, shed yearly by the animals, are made into a variety of decorative items by skillful artisans, who aim to preserve this handicraft tradition. DAY 3

Madrid: Exploration of Spain’s capital begins with a guided orientation tour. In the vibrant Puerta del Sol Square, see the Bear and Strawberry Tree statue, the symbol of Madrid. Walk through the streets of the old town, reaching the majestic Plaza Mayor, filled with interesting architecture, frescoed buildings, cafés, and home to a bronze statue of King Philip III. The nearby Mercado San Miguel is a charming market of Spanish gastronomy. Other main sites seen on the tour are the Opera House and the Royal Palace area. Drive along the famous tree-lined Paseo de la Castellana, see the Calle Alcala, Retiro Park - one of the most famous and beautiful parks of the city, Las Ventas Bullring and the Cibeles Fountain. Housing magnificent buildings that are a legacy of the 1929 World’s Fair held in Seville, the main attraction is the Plaza de España, a majestic crescent-shaped complex arranged around a central plaza. Visit the Santa Cruz district and the famous Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the largest place of worship in Spain. The striking minaret, known as The Giralda, is the slenderest tower in Muslim architecture and the original minaret of the Great Mosque that formerly occupied the site. Relax this afternoon before attending an included dinner followed by a Flamenco show at El Patio Sevillano. DAY 6 Seville – Ronda – Granada: Today’s journey takes you to Granada, with touring of picturesque Ronda enroute. The town itself spans El Tajo Canyon, the plunging river gorge crossed by the 18th-century Puente Nuevo Bridge. Upon arrival, a guided tour presents the highlights, including the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Plaza de España. Famous as the birthplace of modern bullfighting, Ronda is home to the oldest bullring in Spain – Plaza de Toros, which has staged some of the most important events in bullfighting history. Visit the bullring, currently a museum, housing memorabilia of famous bullfighting fans such as Ernest Hemingway and Orson Wells. Continue traveling south to Granada, the final destination in Spain. DAY 7 Granada: Begin discovering this ancient capital of the Arab-Nazari Kingdom with a visit to the Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former palace of the Moorish King of the Kingdom of Granada. During the guided tour, experience the history and beauty of this magnificent Arab architectural treasure and former summer residence of royalty. Wander around the grounds of the fortress, stroll through the perfectly kept gardens, and feel the tranquillity amidst a gorgeous display of plants, flowers, and trees. DAY 8 Granada – Algeciras – Ceuta – Fez, Africa: It’s time to depart the continent of Europe as you travel by coach to the port of Algeciras. Board a high-speed ferry and traverse the Strait of Gibraltar to the port of Ceuta. Your African adventure begins when you depart Ceuta and enter the country of Morocco on your way to Fez, the oldest of Morocco’s four imperial cities. DAY 10 Fez – Meknes – Marrakech: Depart Fez for another of the imperial cities, the walled city of Meknes. With perfectly preserved 17th-century architecture in the old town, it has also been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Aside from the treasures your guide will point out within the walls, a true highlight of the visit will be the Bab Mansour gate. With its architectural details and unique design, it is the most beautiful in Morocco. Your journey continues to the next imperial city, Marrakech. Meals: B, D

DAY 11

Marrakech: During the guided tour, see the city’s most important mosque, Koutoubia, whose tower graces the skyline and is the twin of the Giralda in Seville. Feel the heartbeat of the city while strolling through Jemaa elFna, the main square, where you see snake-charmers, musicians, dancers, and local merchants selling spices and wares. Visit the Saadian Tombs to see the final resting place of former royalty in their beautifully decorated mosaic tombs. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure before attending a Moroccan folklore show this evening. Meal: B

DAY 12 Marrakech – Casablanca: Journey to the cosmopolitan city of Casablanca. Although mythical in many minds, the city is quite modern while maintaining its ancient charm. Pass the Old Town and United Nations Square en route to the visit of Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of modern Moroccan architecture. See the lavish Corniche beachfront with its elegant buildings, grand avenues and architectural styles blending modern and Moorish. See Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral, surrounded by stained-glass walls, pass Habbous Square, the Royal Palace, and the old quarter. Mingle with locals at Boulevard Mohammed V and of course a visit to the city is not complete without a photo stop at the legendary ‘Rick’s Café’ of Hollywood fame. Meal: B

DAY 13 Casablanca / Rabat: On your last day, visit Rabat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the capital of Morocco. Travel by coach to the city and enjoy a panoramic and walking tour. See the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the ruins of the old Mosque and the Hassan II Tower. Learn the history of the sites

DAY 6 Victoria Falls: The day begins with an up-close and personal interaction with some “locals”…the great African elephants! Visit the sanctuary where rescued and resident elephants live. Meet with their caretakers and learn all about the elephants’ behaviors and the amazing bonds formed between the keepers and these gentle giants. After free time back at the hotel for lunch, a remarkable experience is in store as you visit the spectacular Victoria Falls this afternoon and witness the awe-inspiring beauty of one of nature’s supreme masterpieces. A local guide will accompany you through the rainforest, detailing the history of the falls and the flora, fauna, bird and wildlife that abounds. DAY 7 Victoria Falls – Kasane, Botswana: It’s time to depart Zimbabwe and journey by coach across the border to Botswana where you’ll arrive in the town of Kasane and check in to the lodge. After an included lunch, depart on an afternoon cruise on the Chobe River. You’re sure to see elephants refreshing themselves in the water, hippos peeking out to see you, and perhaps crocodiles sunning themselves on shore.

DAY 8 Chobe National Park: Experience the native wildlife of Chobe National Park on a morning safari in open vehicles. The reserve is home to giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, sable, wildebeest, warthog and so much more. Keep an eye out for their predators which can include lion, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox, the elusive cheetah and wild dog. After lunch at the lodge, your afternoon safari can be by land in an open vehicle or by boat on a cruise. Gather with your traveling companions for the final dinner at the lodge. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 9 Botswana – Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe – Cape Town & Stellenbosch, South Africa: The safari experience comes to an end as you travel to the Victoria Falls Airport by coach for a flight to Cape Town and return to South Africa where a new experience awaits. After a short drive from the airport, arrive in Stellenbosch, the country’s second oldest town. Enjoy your free time to stroll along the oak-lined streets where Cape Dutch architecture, wine shops, cafés, and art galleries can be found. Known for its wine production, this area of the county is filled with wine farms. Sample the local product during a wine-tasting before this evening’s included dinner. Meals: B, D

DAY 10 Franschhoek: On today’s excursion, relax as you discover the country’s winelands. After a morning refreshment stop, visit the charming village of Franschhoek, showcasing another of the area’s scenic treasures. Located in a breathtaking valley, surrounded by vineyards and mountains, it’s the perfect setting for your lunch. During an afternoon wine-tasting, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the wines, how they are made, the various grapes, and of course sample plenty of vintages. DAY 11 Stellenbosch – Cape Town: Departing the wine country, return to Cape Town where the local guide gives an orientation and provides details of the city’s history during the panoramic tour. See the highlights including historic monuments, landmarks, and buildings. Visit Cape Town’s most iconic destination…Table Mountain. Ascend to the summit via the aerial cableway and be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding oceans and city below. Returning to ground level, drive by the Malay Quarter and Milnerton Lighthouse before ending at the hotel for an evening at leisure. Meal: B

DAY 12 Cape Peninsula: While visiting the famous Cape of Good Hope, the most southwestern point of the African continent, discover the rich biodiversity of life – both flora and fauna. Baboons, Cape Mountain Zebra and other small animals and birds can be found, along with beautiful scenery. A highlight of the day may be the visit to Boulders Beach where you won’t find a better combination of beach and wildlife. Hundreds of Jackass penguins waddle freely amongst the human “visitors” on their white sand beach and are happy to pose for the camera! DAY 6 Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro

Conservation Area: After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch will be provided after checking in to the lodge on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, which has the largest unbroken caldera in the world and has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world. Almost every species of African plains mammal lives in the crater, including the endangered black rhino. This afternoon, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views from the lodge before tonight’s dinner. DAY 7 Ngorongoro Conservation Area: Today’s adventure is a descent of approximately 1970 feet into the crater in the game-drive vehicles, for a full day of game viewing and a picnic lunch. A photogenic paradise, an abundance of resident wildlife freely roams the plains of the crater floor while hundreds of bird species refresh in the small lakes. Unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscape exists in an area of this size. The crater is also of great archaeological importance with the remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors discovered in the area. DAY 8 Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti

National Park: After breakfast, depart for Serengeti

National Park with a stop at Olduvai Gorge en-route. As one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world, a resident guide will provide an interpretation of the gorge. Lunch will be provided after checking in to the lodge. This afternoon, participate in a game-viewing drive in the worldfamous Serengeti National Park. Covering 5700 square miles, it is Tanzania’s oldest park and one of the world’s last great wildlife refuges. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than 2,500 lions and over one million wildebeests. DAY 9 Serengeti National

Park: After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game-viewing drives on the Serengeti plains. “Serengeti” is derived from a word meaning “the place where the land runs on forever,” and the vast national park remains true to its name. Aside from being spoiled by the variety of wildlife and bird species of the Serengeti, its landscape is stunningly beautiful, especially in the early morning and late evening light. Elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, zebra, giraffe and others may be spotted during your Serengeti adventure. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 10

Serengeti National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya: It’s time to leave Tanzania and return to Kenya via the Isebania border where your driver/guides will assist with the immigration procedures and transfer to Kenya vehicles / drivers. During the drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, a picnic lunch will take place. With rolling plains and grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see, the Masai Mara is home to the black-maned lion, Savannah (African) elephant, Cape buffalo, wildebeests, cheetah, hyena, rhino, topi, Burchelle’s zebra and Masai giraffe. Arrive at the intimate Tipilikwani Camp in the evening, check in to your accommodations and enjoy dinner. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 11 Masai Mara Game Reserve: If you choose, start the day with an optional sunrise hot-air balloon ride* (weather permitting). After breakfast, depart on a fullday adventure on the Masai Mara Game Reserve as you keep a lookout for the “Big Five” – lion, Savannah elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard and the black rhino. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai manyatta (village) and experience the culture of this world-famous community where the Maasai still live as they have for centuries. DAY 12 Masai Mara Game Reserve – Lake Nakuru

National Park: After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the Mbweha Safari Camp. Afterwards, participate in an afternoon game-viewing drive. Lake Nakuru is home to prides of lion, Cape buffalo, waterbucks, wart hogs, the endangered Rothschild giraffe, black & white rhino, Burchell’s zebra, impalas and the elusive leopard. DAY 5 Ol Pejeta Conservancy: Enjoy a full day exploring exotic Sweetwaters Sanctuary. The camp overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers an astounding variety of animals. DAY 6 Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Lake Naivasha: An early morning game-viewing drive starts the day, followed by breakfast back at the camp before starting your next adventure. Depart the Conservancy and drive towards the Great Rift Valley where a brief stop is made at the equator-crossing point. Snap photos of the signage indicating the crossing and experience the effects of the

magnetic fields while being at the center of the Earth! Arrive in Lake Naivasha in time for lunch before this afternoon’s included boat ride. Cruise along the tranquil waters of this fresh-water lake in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Relish in the surrounding sights and sounds of the native wildlife. DAY 7 Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara: After breakfast, it’s time to journey to the final destination, Kenya’s famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Venture through the Great Rift Valley to the northern-most extension of the Serengeti Plains, and one of the richest wildlife game reserves in the country. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the camp before the afternoon game-viewing drive. Gorilla Trek in Uganda

This morning, set out on a chimpanzee trek of two – four hours in the depth of the rainforest, offering the chance to see chimps in their natural habitat. Watch these captivating animals as they swing from the fruiting trees. Bird lovers are also in for a treat, as the rainforest hosts an astonishing 335 species. After the trek, enjoy a lunch of local, freshly grown and cooked specialties at Tinka’s Homestead. Learn about local culture and the history of the homestead from a family member as you absorb the lush surroundings and relaxing atmosphere while you dine. After lunch, depart on a nature walk through the Bigodi Wetlands, home to over 200 bird and eight primate species. The Bigodi conservation project began as a local environmental effort run by the communities of Kibale. Beyond conserving the wetlands and its wildlife, the project has also supported the building of a local school, safe drinking water for residents, and local health care efforts. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 6 Queen Elizabeth National Park: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the journey towards the park, the incredible

scenery of the “Mountains of the Moon” unfolds. Relax during lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Elephants, buffalo, Uganda Kob, topi, lions, and waterbuck are among the 95 mammal species inhabiting the park, along with over 50 species of raptors. DAY 7

Queen Elizabeth National Park: Set out on an early morning game drive as the sun rises over the vast savannah, illuminating the surrounding “Mountains of the Moon”, shrouded in a mystical haze. Your guide searches for lions at hunt and hyenas before they retreat into the woods to seek shelter from the sun. This afternoon, a different adventure is in store as you set sail on the Kazinga Channel, exploring the waterway known for its various bird species and hippo population. Elephants are often seen drinking from the shores, water buffalo bask in the mud, warthogs run along the shore and plenty of birds inhabit the trees. Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge or enjoy an early-evening game drive through the park. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 8 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: Enjoy a final morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. DAY 9 Bwindi National Park Gorilla Trek: The hike of a lifetime begins as you discover the incredible biodiversity of the park on your gorilla trek! Primates, birds, butterflies and a variety of hardwood trees, ferns and plant life surround you as you trek through the park in search of these amazing animals. After an early breakfast, meet the park rangers who will serve as your guides for this fantastic experience. On average, gorilla trekking lasts three to eight hours total, but once you meet the gorillas, you will be able to spend an unforgettable hour with them in their native habitat during this awe-inspiring adventure. Depending on the length of your trek, enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest or upon returning to the lodge. After trekking, visit a local women’s cooperative to experience Ugandan culture. You’ll have time to experience the “healing waters” of this remarkable “natural health spa” and enjoy an included lunch. After lunch, continue to Madaba to view the 6th-century mosaic

Your guide leads you on a walk through the Siq – a narrow gorge carved by the forces of water erosion, complete with fossils embedded in the rock. As you exit the Siq, the awe-inspiring view of the Treasury awaits. It is impossible to describe the feeling of standing at the foot of this amazing archeological masterpiece, whose carvings have survived for centuries. Continue exploring the site as you see the Monastery, the Silk Tomb and the Roman Colonnade and Amphitheater which could seat 7,000 people. DAY 11 Amman: On a morning tour of this capital city, discover fascinating contrasts – a unique blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. See the Citadel, the Roman Theater and a view of the residential areas. In Jerash, walk among the ruins of the former walled Roman settlement – said to be the best preserved Roman ruins outside of Italy. Hadrian’s Arch, a monument from the 2nd century, greets you as you pass through it on the way to the site. Once inside, marvel at the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis, see the Forum surrounded by 160 columns, visit the Hippodrome and stroll along the Cardo – a colonnaded street running the length of the city. Upon arrival, visit Kaymakli Underground City, a subterranean settlement composed of troglodytic cave dwellings from the 6th – 9th centuries, providing shelter for early Christians protecting themselves from invaders. Extending five levels below ground, see the living quarters, kitchens, wine presses, storage rooms, stables, and ventilation shafts. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening. Meals: B, D

DAY 6 Cappadocia: If you choose, start the day with an optional early morning hot-air balloon ride. After breakfast explore Cappadocia with its unique landscapes formed by erosions of winds and water. Your expedition starts with a visit to the Monastic Center of Goreme, founded by St. Basil as the first Monastic Center of Christianity during the 4th century. As an open-air museum, see the wellpreserved rock-hewn churches decorated with Byzantine frescoes. While visiting the Red Fort of Agra, discover the inner paradise hidden by its forbidding exteriors. DAY 7 Fatehpur Sikri – Bharatpur – Ranthambore: Departing Agra, journey by coach to Bharatpur. En route, visit a real-life ghost town: the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri (City of Victory), built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Dramatically abandoned a few years after it was built, its ‘ruins’ are still in pristine condition. After an included lunch in Bharatpur, board the train and enjoy a scenic rail journey to Sawai Madhopur. DAY 10 Jaipur: Located on a hill high above the city, in a rugged and picturesque setting, the towers and domes of the Amber Fort are reminiscent of scenes from a fairytale. DAY 1 USA / Havana, Cuba: Depart the USA on your flight to Havana, Cuba. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by a local representative of Mayflower, assisted with arrival procedures, then transferred to the hotel. While visiting the San José Craft Market, mix and mingle with the artisans and vendors, learn about their art and shop for indigenous handicrafts. A truly local experience awaits as you witness the process of making an authentic cigar with local entrepreneurs. Visit a private cigar shop to see how this ancient art is kept alive and is a major contributor to the local economy. Lunch is included at a paladar during today’s excursion. DAY 3 Havana / Cójimar: A visit to the Fine Arts Museum in Havana begins the day. See some of its exhibits and meet with the staff to learn about Cuban art projects and

their importance to society. Depart for the village of San Francisco de Paula on an excursion to the Hemingway Museum. Learn about his life, work, love of Cuba and contributions to the country as you explore the grounds of his house, Finca Vigia. Continue to Cójimar where lunch is provided at a local paladar in the town that inspired him to write his Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Old Man and the Sea. Returning to Havana, a guided visit to the Hotel Nacional awaits. Stroll through this famous hotel where so many of Hollywood’s elite actors and actresses previously visited. Havana: More sites in this historic city are seen today, starting with Morro Castle, a spectacular, strategically built monument with an amazing history. DAY 5 Havana – Trinidad: It’s time to depart Havana and journey by coach to the colonial city of Trinidad. En route, visit the town of Cienfuegos. A walking tour around the center of the town showcases its historic and architectural sites as well as affording the opportunity to interact with residents and vendors who are happy to share their stories of a quiet lifestyle. While visiting the Tomás Terry Theatre, declared a national monument, see its ornate interior with Carrara marble, hand-carved wooden flooring, gold-leaf mosaics, and ceiling frescos. After lunch at a paladar, continue to Trinidad for dinner at the hotel and the final two nights of the program. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 6 Trinidad: The final day in Cuba begins with a guided walking tour to explore Trinidad. Stroll along the cobblestone streets of the well-preserved historic center and witness the grand buildings in the Plaza Mayor, the main square of the city. Stop in and visit the locals in their shops, and see the bell tower of the Convento de San Francisco, which overlooks the square. Sip on a local drink at La Canchánchara Bar while listening to and learning about Cuban music and traditional rhythms. At the ceramic studio of Chichi Santander, you will be taught about the art of pottery-making and the traditional methods used to create their ceramic pieces of art. Return to the hotel for an included lunch and some free time.

DAY 3 Arenal area: This morning, enjoy a gentle walk along the base of Arenal Volcano, a magnificent natural phenomenon, during a visit to Arenal National Park. Your Tour Manager takes you through the forest, over the lava flows, and to the destroyed area now in the process of regeneration. Return to the hotel for lunch on your own the remainder of the day at leisure. Later this afternoon, depart the hotel for a visit to a local farm for an educational and culinary experience. Stroll around the farm with a guide as you see a variety of flora and fauna and learn about the products being organically grown. Pick tubers and other vegetables, along with fruits, to be used in the evening meal. Learn about sugar cane, the milling process, and have a taste of its derivatives. DAY 4 Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge: While in the Arenal area, enjoy a full day excursion to Caño Negro National Wildlife Refuge, a remote “everglades” type wetlands,

teeming with different species of flora, fauna and birdlife. Enjoy a boat ride on the Rio Frio, where you’ll have an opportunity to see a plethora of wildlife: snake-birds, heron, comorants, howler, spider and white-faced monkeys, three-toed sloth, basilik lizards (also known as Jesus Christ lizards), turtles and much more. DAY 5 Arenal area – Manuel Antonio: After breakfast, travel to the Manuel Antonio area, famous for its national park. En route, another ‘local flavor’ awaits as you visit a “Cevichera” and witness a demonstration of how to make Costa Rican ceviche. Using the freshest fish from the area and ingredients from local farmers, this small entrepreneurship shows how collaborating with the locals supports economic community growth. DAY 6 Manuel Antonio National Park: Today’s included tour visits nearby Manuel Antonio National Park, the smallest of the parks in Costa Rica but one of the most popular. There is a magic to this park that is hard to explain. Perhaps it’s the park’s forest, mangroves, lagoons and beach vegetation that supports 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds (with migrants bringing the bird species to some 270) that make it so amazing. Among the inhabitants that can be easily seen are sloths, iguanas, agoutis, armadillos, raccoons, coatimundis and the adorable squirrel monkey. After the excursion, return to the hotel where the remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beautiful grounds and amenities. Meal: B

DAY 7

Manuel Antonio: This morning, depart by coach to the Nauyaca Waterfalls. Upon arrival, board smaller vehicles for a ride through the beautiful landscape and wonders of the tropical rain forest to the lower falls. Take a dip in the refreshing water at the base of the falls, or simply relax as you take in the sights, sounds and aromas of this magical area. DAY 3 Panama Canal Cruise: Today may well be a highlight of your trip! Depart for the Gamboa area and embark a ship to begin the partial transit of the Panama Canal, narrated by a local expert. Cruise through the Gaillard Cut, cross under the Centennial Bridge and transit the Pedro Miguel Locks. Enjoy lunch onboard while experiencing the operation of the lock as you descend 30-feet in one step and reach Miraflores Lake. Enter the Miraflores Locks in the Pacific Ocean where you are lowered 60-feet in a two-step process. Sail on the Pacific Ocean, pass under the Bridge of the Americas and disembark at Amador Causeway in the Panama Bay. Payments: All deposits and final payments can be made by check or credit card. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Prices Subject to Change: We reserve the right to vary itineraries and prices and substitute facilities, hotels or events of equal or better quality if necessary.

Guaranteed Share Program for Single Travelers: If you are traveling alone and would like a roommate for cost savings, let us know at the time of booking your reservation. Travelers must be non-smokers, cannot use a medical sleeping device or have specific needs like Handicapped room etc. to be eligible. Participants will be paired with another traveler of the same gender at the twin rate. If no roommate is available, you will get a single room at the twin rate. Guaranteed share reservations are available 180 days prior to tour departure.

Roommate Cancellation: If you are booked as a “twin” and your roommate cancels their reservation, and you cannot find another roommate, you may either travel as a guaranteed share (see above) or travel as a single and pay the single supplement.

Health and Walking on Tour: Some sites visited have limited motorcoach access and may involve considerable walking, stairs or inclines. Travelers should be in reasonably good health. Some programs include destinations in higher elevations that may have varying effects on individual travelers. Tour Managers and Coach Drivers cannot lift or assist travelers into transportation vehicles. Mayflower Cruises & Tours requires that persons requiring assistance be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance.

Revision Fees: A fee of $25 per person per transaction will be charged for any changes, revisions or alterations made to your reservation after confirmation.

Luggage Handling: The tour cost includes porterage for one average size suitcase. A charge of $5.00 per hotel will be collected by the Tour Manager for each additional piece of luggage that you bring.

Travel Documents: Your travel documents will be in your possession approximately 14 days prior to departure. Documents include tour itinerary, departure and arrival information and times, hotel information, clothing suggestions, baggage tags, plus any helpful hints.

Mayflower Loyalty Program, First Time Travelers and Referral

Rewards: Earn $100.00 travel credit for every World Holiday taken with Mayflower Cruises & Tours. No restrictions to the amount of credits an individual can acquire. Loyalty Credits can be applied to any reservation made within one year of the return of the tour they were earned on. Multiple credits can be used on a single tour. Credits are nontransferable but can be combined with Referral Rewards and Mayflower promotional savings.* First Time Travelers, earn $50.00 to be applied to their first reservation with Mayflower Cruises & Tours. FTTs cannot be combined with any Free Airfare promotional offer. With Mayflower’s Referral Rewards program

you can earn hundreds of travel dollars when you refer a friend to us. Here is how it works – refer a friend that is NEW to Mayflower Cruises & Tours and you will earn up to a $100 travel savings when your friend makes a reservation and pays the deposit on a tour that is five days or longer. The savings is per friend. So if you bring a couple that is new to Mayflower – you will earn up to $100 x 2 = $200 travel savings. You can apply this savings on upcoming tours* you have with Mayflower Cruises & Tours. Your Friend also gets a First-Time Traveler savings of up to $100. *Some restrictions apply, call for details.

Smoke Free Environment: Although smoking is not allowed on the motorcoach, frequent rest/smoking stops are made.

Travelers with Special Needs: You must advise Mayflower at the time your booking is made of any disability requiring special attention. Mayflower will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of our travelers. Be aware that the Americans with Disabilities Act is applicable only within the United States and that accommodations for disabled travelers outside the United States may be more limited. If a traveler requires assistance, we require that he/she be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance. Neither Mayflower personnel, nor its suppliers, may lift or physically assist travelers. If a traveler thinks he/she might need assistance during a trip, he/ she should call Mayflower to determine what assistance might reasonably be provided. If special arrangements are provided, and these arrangements add to the Tour Operator’s cost, the Tour Member will be responsible to pay the additional costs. Mayflower cannot provide special individual assistance to travelers with special needs for walking, dining or other routine activities. Travelers requesting a handicapped room cannot be booked with Guaranteed Share accommodations.

Membership: Mayflower reserves the right to withhold tour membership, or to require any traveler to leave a tour at any time, when such action is determined by Mayflower to be in the best interests of the traveler or the tour group. Children must be at least 10 years of age and accompanied at all times by a guardian.

Force Majeure: Except where otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage, loss or expense of any nature as a result of Force Majeure . “Force Majeure” means any event which we or the supplier of the services in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid.

Responsibility: These tour programs are operated by Mayflower Cruises & Tours, Inc. 650 Warrenville Rd. Suite 500, Lisle, IL 60532. In common with other companies, Mayflower acts only as an agent for Tour Members in arranging room accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, admissions and restaurants. Mayflower reserves the right in its sole discretion to make changes in the itinerary and is not responsible for expenses, loss of time, money or other occurrence resulting from a change of tour scheduling made for Tour Members. Mayflower reserves the right to accept, decline or retain any person as a member of the tour, and is not responsible for any losses or damages of personal property, or for injuries, expenses or damages incurred by any Tour Member.

United States Tour Operators Association

$1 Million Travelers Assistance Program: Mayflower Cruises & Tours, Inc., shares the coverage available under the United States Tour Operators Association (“USTOA”) $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program with affiliates of Mayflower Cruises & Tours who, as an Active Member of the USTOA is required to post $1 Million with USTOA to be used to reimburse, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the USTOA Travelers Assistance Program, the advance payments of Mayflower Cruises & Tours travelers in the unlikely event of Mayflower Cruises & Tours bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of business. Further, you should understand that the $1 Million posted by Mayflower Cruises & Tours may be sufficient to provide only a partial recovery of the advance payments received by Mayflower Cruises & Tours. Tour Activity Level: Travelers should be in reasonably good health. Please consult your physician for pre-departure health advice.

1. This program has a leisurely pace with minimal activity such as climbing stairs, boarding the motorcoach and walking within the hotels.

2. Average physical activity on this program requires the ability to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, sometimes over uneven surfaces.

3. A blend of longer and shorter touring days with walking tours. Expect more of the touring to be over uneven surfaces and involve more stairs.

4. Longer touring days with more walking tours mixed with some periods of standing. Expect more of the touring to be over uneven surfaces and involve stairs.

5. A more physical touring experience based on the destination. Involves longer walking tours, on uneven surfaces, may involve inclines, stair climbing, windy or wet conditions at sites and periods of standing. Expect some of the experiences to occur during the evening.

Payment Information

Listed below is a schedule of deposit and final payment due dates. You will note that the first category includes an optional Travelers Protection Plan (TPP) which is to be paid within five business days after making your reservation. Please see “Travelers Protection Plan (TPP)” section on the next page for further explanation of this benefit.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Payments for land and air arrangements (less the deposit amount) will be refunded when cancellations are received prior to the final payment due date noted above. Deposits are non-refundable unless the optional Travelers Protection Plan (TPP) is purchased at the time of booking. When the optional Traveler Protection Plan is purchased and it is necessary to cancel your reservation, you will be refunded all payments, including the deposit amount, less the TPP premium.

*Exception: If you purchase non-refundable airline tickets from Mayflower Cruises & Tours, the TPP does not provide a refund for the airline tickets in the event of a cancellation or a return transportation benefit if you must return home early. You will be charged the TPP premium for the land tour only. Any changes made to the reservation after final payment that alters the tour itinerary will result in cancellation charges as listed below. If you have purchased the Travelers Protection Plan, the premium will be applied to offset the cancellation charges.

Should you choose not to purchase our TPP, the following per person cancellation charges will be assessed for all tours and optional excursion costs:

• 91 days or more prior to departure: Deposit Amount is non-refundable

• 90 to 45 days prior to departure: 20% of total tour

• 44 to 15 days prior to departure: 30% of total tour

• 14 to 1 day prior to departure: 50% of total tour

• Day of departure or early departure from tour: 100% of total tour

• No refund on unused portions of the tour

For Gorilla Trek in Uganda

Should you choose not to purchase our TPP, the following per person cancellation charges will be assessed for all tours and optional excursion costs:

• 181 days or more prior to departure: Deposit Amount is non-refundable

• 180 days to day of departure- 100% of Tour cost

• No refund on unused portions of the tour

Exclusions for the Cancellation Fee Waiver

Mayflower Cruises & Tours reserves the right to alter its Refund and Cancellation Policy when a substantial amount of cancellation or postponement of travel is attributable to: conditions resulting from an act of God, natural or man-made disaster, fire, government action, civil disorder, war, hostilities between nations, or unavailability of transportation through no fault of Mayflower Cruises & Tours.

Tour Price Includes

All motorcoach transportation noted in the tour itinerary, round trip airport transfers on the tour departure and return dates (only) if air is purchased through Mayflower, services of the Tour Manager and driver, lodging, sightseeing, taxes, admissions, gratuities for waiters at included meals, as well as Mayflower Money. Included meals are clearly noted in the touring description. Air transportation is available upon request, at additional cost for all tours.

What is Not Included on the Tour

The land price of your tour does not include airfare to the tour

departure point; any inter or intra-country air; airline luggage charges; items of a personal nature; meals not included on the itinerary; sightseeing attractions listed as “optional excursions” and gratuities to the full time Tour Manager, motorcoach driver, all airport skycaps, van or limo drivers, local guides. Transfers between airport and hotel are not included unless you purchase air from Mayflower and travel on tour dates. Baggage fees assessed by the airlines are not included in the air price if you purchased air from Mayflower Cruises & Tours.

Airline Security Measures

The Transportation Security Administration requires that travelers provide their name exactly to their airline as it appears on their passport to be used while traveling, along with their date of birth and gender when making reservations to fly from the U.S. When making your flight reservations through Mayflower Cruises & Tours, you will be asked for this information by our staff. Due to airline security measures, your passport must match your airline ticket name and your tour reservation name or you may be denied aircraft boarding.

Passport & Visas

Each U.S. citizen must have a valid passport. Expiration date of passport should be at least six months after the return date of the tour. If you don’t have a passport, call our office and we’ll tell you how to apply for one. Some countries require visas for entry by U.S. citizens. We will send instructions for visa applications if a visa is required for your tour. Holders of non-U.S. passports should contact their nearest consulate and inquire about the necessary passport or visa documentation required for entry into the countries visited. Visa fees and cost of obtaining a visa are not included in the tour price and is the responsibility of the traveler.

Medical Requirements

Many countries have immunization requirements. Some countries require foreign visitors to have valid medical insurance on entry. Requirements vary by country and can change. Please check with your travel professional or call our office for details on which tours need these requirements. Specific instructions will be sent to you at 90 days prior to departure if your tour requires these conditions. Mayflower Cruises & Tours cannot be liable for delay or denial of entry due to missing documents.

Itinerary Changes

There may be times when we may have to alter the scheduled itinerary, cruise vessels, hotels, shore excursions etc. due to weather conditions or conditions on the river in regards to water levels, locks, or other delays. Any changes in the itinerary due to these conditions will not result in eligibility for a refund. All itineraries are subject to change without prior notice and may need to be altered due to water level and other weather conditions.

Travelers Protection Plan

Our Travelers Protection Plan consists of a Cancellation Fee Waiver combined with Travel Insurance Benefits.

Part A - Cancellation Fee Waiver (CFW)

Should you have to cancel your tour or interrupt your tour en-route, we offer a non-refundable Travelers Protection Plan (TPP) in our deposit schedule. This non-refundable fee waives all cancellation

fees and penalties, provided we are notified of the cancellation one day before your tour departs. While on tour, if a passenger must leave early due to a personal illness, illness or death of a member of the immediate family, the purchase of the Travelers Protection Plan (TPP) guarantees full refund for any unused services (including purchased optional excursions) after the departure of the tour. Handling of return air transportation is included if your airline tickets were provided by Mayflower Cruises & Tours.

*Exception: If you purchased non-refundable airline tickets from Mayflower Cruises & Tours, the TPP does not provide a refund for the airline tickets in the event of a cancellation or a return transportation benefit if you must return home early. You will only be charged the TPP premium for the land tour instead of the premium for land tour with air (certain exclusions apply and are detailed in the Description of Coverage Brochure).

Part B - Travel Insurance Benefits

In addition to the Part A - Cancellation Fee Waiver, this plan also provides the following travel insurance benefits. These Part B Benefits are offered and administered by Trip Mate, a Generali Global Assistance & Insurance Services brand, are underwritten by the insurance carriers listed below and are subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy:

• $25,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment

• $2,800 Travel Delay (Up to $200 Per Day for up to 14 days)

• $25,000 Medical Expense/Emergency Evacuation

• 24 Hour Worldwide Assistance Service

• $2,000 Baggage / Travel Documents

• $500 Baggage Delay (Up to $100 Per Day)

Certain exclusions and limitations apply and are detailed in the Description of Coverage Brochure which will be enclosed with your deposit receipt and is also available to you, upon request, at any time prior to your purchase of the plan. For example, coverage does not apply to: suicide, normal pregnancy, war or any act of war, mental or nervous disorders. A Traveling Companion is defined as a person or persons with whom you have coordinated Travel Arrangements and intend to travel with during the trip. Sickness or Injury must require care by a Physician and must commence while insurance is in force for you. This plan does not cover a loss that results from an illness, disease, or other condition (of you, an Immediate Family Member, Traveling Companion or Business Partner), event or circumstance which occurs at a time when this plan is not in force for you.
