DAY 1 Arrive at French Lick: Built at the turn of the century, the French Lick Resort stands as a testament to a bygone era. This lavish resort has a registry of guests who have included former presidents FDR and Ronald Regan. Get settled into the resort before enjoying a welcome dinner. (Dinner)
DAY 2 Louisville: Visit famed Churchill Downs, the “World’s Most Legendary Racetrack.” Go behind the scenes on a walking tour to see the more than 1,400 stalls and watch training from rail side (when available) and enjoy an included lunch. At the Frazier History Museum visit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Welcome Center where you enjoy a bourbon tasting. Browse the many exhibits and see the high-definition production Kentucky Show!, a multimedia show highlighting Kentucky’s past, present and future.

DAY 3 Elephant Encounter and Abbeydell Hall: At Wilstem Wildlife Park take a wagon ride through the giraffes, sloths, kangaroos and grizzly bears that live here. The highlight is the Elephant Encounter where you will get up close to touch the ivory, take photos and learn all you would ever want to know about elephants. Stop at the French Lick Winery for a tasting then sit down to dinner and live entertainment at Abbeydell Hall.
