Promoting good oral health since 1965 A vision of healthy smiles for life runs throughout our history. In 1965, woodcarver Henning Eklund found an innovative solution for interdental cleaning by developing the triangular interdental stick in collaboration with professors at the School of Dentistry in Malmö, Sweden. Henning Eklund’s business idea, to promote good oral health in collaboration with dental experts, became a successful concept. Today, TePe’s products and solutions are recommended by dental professionals and used by consumers in over 80 countries. Interdental cleaning TePe has a long tradition of developing products for preventive oral care with a special focus on interdental cleaning. Our range offers a variety of options to facilitate daily interdental care for all.

TePe Interdental Brushes Interdental brushes are highly effective in removing dental plaque between teeth. We have developed ours in collaboration with dental experts to certify the highest efficiency, comfort and quality. The wide TePe Interdental Brush range offers an option for everybody – multiple sizes, two filament textures and two handle lengths with a straight or angled brush head.

The brushes comply with the international standard for manual interdental brushes (ISO 16409) which stipulates nine sizes, 0-8. We offer colour coded brushes in all nine sizes to cover the wide span of interdental space varieties.

Colour ISO size (0-8)

The ISO size is based on the measurement of the smallest hole which the brush can pass through, the passage hole diameter (PHD). 1 = Wire size 2 = PHD size

An interdental brush also cleans the concave surfaces between teeth and is therefore more efficient than other interdental cleaning products.
