Hello and greetings to all who have generously participated in the making of the Annual SPOTLIGHT AWARDS, which is now on its seventh year.
I organized the SPOTLIGHT AWARDS for one simple basic reason. It is with utmost pride and humility to know that Spotlight Awards continue to inspire and encourage achievement and success year after year.
Here at the SPOTLIGHT AWARDS, we honor carefully selected and very distinguished Filipino talents, businesses and community organizations who have achieved exemplary success, made invaluable contributions of outstanding significance to their profession and field of expertise, as well as being influential to the enrichment of everything Filipino in the community
With sincere humility and pride, it is indeed an honor and a privilege to give recognition to those who have displayed excellence in the performing arts and entertainment, as well as in business and community organizations. Together, they empower the Filipinos here in America.
Tonight, my utmost gratitude to our event partners for their unwavering support towards the success of this event. Ditto to my ever-supportive colleagues and production staff led by Alice Gonzalez, Kat Iniba, Andy Edralin, Theresa Pascua, Randy Trinidad, Isidric Panganiban, Jason Bascon, Javier Suarez, Karen Santos, and Erik Ovanespour. To Grace Hu and Trese Childs of DoubleTree by Hilton - Whittier, thank you.
To everyone else, I am truly grateful for your unselfish support with your time, money and effort in making this event a memorable and successful one.
Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat.
