Using KUBI Standard Dry Glove System with the Santi Smart Seal System.

We have received information from customers advising on how they have installed the KUBI Standard dry glove system on their drysuit, that has the SANTI Smart Seal System installed. We thought this maybe useful to share, but if you are unsure if this is suitable for your drysuit, we suggest you check with your drysuit dealer or the manufacturer.

Installation Guide Part 1

With the SANTI ring system fitted on the drysuit, remove the rings and seals completely. Once the ring & wrist seal are separate from the suit, dismantle into:

l SANTI Wrist Seal

l SANTI flexible ring

l SANTI flexible ring

l SANTI oring

l SANTI oring

l KUBI Standard System Cuff Side inner alu ring

l KUBI Standard System Cuff Side inner alu ring

l KUBI branded outer alu ring

l KUBI branded outer alu ring

l 2 x KUBI orings (#2 & #4)

l Wrist Seal

l 2 x KUBI orings (#2 & #4)

Check you have all items required to carry out your installation (items listed & shown in the image are for a single sleeve).

Place the wrist seal over the KUBI inner alu ring ensuring that the lower ridged lip of the wrist seal faces out with enough excess to overhang.

Once the seal is set in place over the alu ring with enough excess in place, insert the first black oring (#4 cuff side fixing oring).

Turn over the wrist seal so it now sits in the correct orientation for the KUBI system.

Place outer KUBI alu ring and the final black oring (#2 cuff side securing) in place to complete the fixing of the KUBI system to the wrist seal.

Installation Guide Part 4

Place the SANTI flexible ring inside the overhanging wrist seal, ensuring the flexible ring is seated as far as possible. Use the SANTI oring on the wrist seal to hold it in place.

Re-insert the system into the drysuit ensuring that the end of the suit is placed firmly and positively against the KUBI ring, making sure the suit is correctly seated against the seal.

You have now connected the KUBI Standard System to one sleeve of your drysuit. Repeat all the above on the 2nd sleeve.

The KUBI Glove side system will now fit onto the cuff side you have installed on the SANTI Smart Seals.
