WELCOME BACK At last, here we are again at the wonderful Royal Lancaster with so many friends and colleagues from across all sectors of our industry, coming together for the 22nd Excellence in Housewares Awards. Despite the fun we had on our multi-screen party rooms at our 21st – the digital Excellence in Housewares Awards 2020 - nothing can beat being together again in person to celebrate the achievements of our industry in style.

s the last two years have played out, through hardships and losses, changes and challenges, the housewares industry has never seemed so important. Congratulations to all EIH 21 finalists – for your creativity, ingenuity, innovations, and dedication to enabling and empowering the Great British public to cook and entertain, organise, and appreciate our kitchens and homes. We have a myriad of amazing products to marvel at on this Awards night: every one of them is featured in detail in this brochure. With so many fabulous retailer finalists in these pages, we will be highlighting many of their inspirational stories over the forthcoming issues of Progressive Housewares magazine, as well as on HousewaresNews.net. The Excellence in Housewares Awards are an industry-wide collaboration, so we would like to say some very big ‘thank yous.’ Firstly, thank you to suppliers for entering so many new products, and for all those that used their expertise and insights to nominate retailers across our wide span of awards categories. A RIP ROARING RAFFLE The Light Fund, set up in 2004, is an industrywide registered charity for the housewares, greetings, licensing and gifts sectors. It is run on a voluntary basis by those in the industry. Since its inception, The Light Fund has raised over £1.8 million and funded well over 200 charity projects helping men, women and children less fortunate than ourselves, all over the world. The Rainy Day Trust the only charity which exists solely to help hundreds of people who work or have worked in the UK’s housewares and home improvement industry. It needs our help to reach more than 30% more beneficiaries this year. This winter, the Trust will be providing lifelines with its winter fuel packages.
