Publishers of calendars and producers of diaries and Advents practiced what they preach and ‘saved the date’ to enter The Calies, with a constant stream of packages and parcels arriving at PG’s offices over the late summer. This year’s Calies attracted some 500 entries and each and every one of these underwent the scrutiny of a venerable judging panel. Retail buyers from Calendar Club, Clintons, John Lewis, HMV, Waterstones, Card Factory and House of Cards, as well as design and production experts made a
