Maxima Allied Health Professionals
Our NDIS Allied Health team is fully qualified, insured and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). For NDIS participants, the services delivered by our Allied Health Professionals (AEPs) can be a valuable support to improve the overall quality of life.
Pathology domains covered include cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancers, kidney, respiratory / pulmonary and mental health, and any other conditions for which there is evidence that exercise can improve the client’s clinical status.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapy focus on physical, psychosocial, sensory and cognitive disabilities. We have the equipment, skills and qualifications to carry out assessments and clinically based interventions and we work closely with you and your support network to maximise your independence.
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy team work across paediatric, neurological, musculoskeletal, and mental health to support functional movement and pain management. We work alongside you to create treatments that are tailored to your individual needs, including hydrotherapy, exercise programs, muscle re-education to improve control, airway clearance and breathing exercises, massage, acupuncture and dry needling, and advice and assistance on how to use mobility aids.
Exercise Physiology
Our exercise physiologists are equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. We work alongside you to create treatments that are tailored to your individual needs to improve your strength, balance, coordination, cardiovascular fitness and endurance, reduce your pain, manage limiting symptoms affecting your day-to-day life and assist in social engagement and mental health.
Speech Pathology
Our speech pathologists assess and evaluate communication abilities, develop personalised treatment plans, and provide therapy to help improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function. We help individuals improve their communication skills.

Developmental Education
Our developmental educators collaborate with people with disability to promote inclusion and address attitudinal and environmental barriers, employing a range of professional and technical skills including applying developmental, behavioural, learning and social theories; assessing the person and their environment; collaborative planning and goal setting; teaching skills through evidence based instructional strategies; supporting life transitions; programming, monitoring and evaluation; advocacy; community education; and capacity building.
