As you may know, our Make-A-Wish Chapter grants wishes for children battling critical illnesses across 161 counties in Texas. For our virtual event this year, we have the opportunity to unite as one community to grant wishes across Texas, together. A wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness. It is because of generous donors, dedicated volunteers and valuable partners in the medical community that each wish becomes a reality. We are so grateful you chose to join us for a night of Inspiring Hope.

A Message from The Chairman of The Board and President & CEO Welcome to Inspiring Hope 2021! Today marks the 41st anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In over 4 decades, with your help, Make-A-Wish North Texas has granted close to 12,000 wishes for children across the 161-counties we serve! Over the past year, we have all had a glimpse of what it feels like to wait for Hope. The moment there is something to look forward to, everything begins to change. With Hope, we find resilience and we rediscover joy. Hope strengthens and empowers us. For a child battling a critical illness, a wish inspires Hope. Make-A-Wish remains committed to our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child fighting a critical illness. Now more than ever, wishes rely on compassionate people like you. Entertainment M ic h el le R odriguez, E m ce e Michelle Rodriguez has been in the radio industry for over ten years, and you can currently catch her on-air every weekday from 5:30-10:00am on Hawkeye in the Morning. Many of our supporters may recognize Michelle as the emcee for the DFW Walk for Wishes event. Born and raised in Dallas, her passion for music was instilled by her family, starting with her father who was a musician. When she’s not on the radio, Michelle enjoys attending concerts, working out and watching sports, especially the Dallas professional teams and Texas A&M University, her alma mater.
