DAY 1 - Getting to know each of our stories

AIM - Participants will be introduced to Erasmus+, ESC and YouthPass tools to be used for evaluation of their learning objectives. They will share their context, regarding their role and target groups their organization is trying to reach.
● Presentation of program, Erasmus+, ESC, Youthpass and evaluation procedureQ&A -Personal stories as a starting point: Ιdentification of the key elements of storytelling inside personal stories.
● The importance of context, activities relating to storytelling, communication/marketing & dissemination.
● Patterns of storytelling: Fundamental patterns of storytelling -Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey”
● Working groups and teams: Tasks/roles will be given to create the final outputs.
DAY 2 - Storytelling through Sound - Podcasts 101
AIM - Introduction from experienced professionals in their field (storytelling, filming, etc). Use of sample material, short educational videos, participatory brainstorming process.
● Storytelling through the Sound : Essential aspects of sound- how it can be used as a storytelling medium.
● Storytelling through the ink: Story breakdown, creative writing, good practices on research.
● Ethics in story spreading.
● Hands on practice #Podcast 101: Creation of a podcast.
DAY 3 - Storytelling through the Film - Livestream 101
AIM - Theoretical knowledge for video production - Collaborative design.
● Storytelling through the film: Technical aspects of videography and storytelling.
● Managing interviews.
● Sound and storytelling.
● Hands on practice #Film Making:
● Practice of the livestreaming, based on what we learned
Day 4 - Design Day
AIM - Brainstorming design of the 2 tutorial videos that will be produced.
● 6 Hats method on participatory brainstorming with limitations from the facilitator
● Board breakdown of shooting and resources needed for the production.
DAY 5 - Shooting Day
AIM -#Hands On Production of the 2 videos and editing.
● Shoot them Up! - Participants, splitted into groups and the guidance of facilitators will use the studio of Cinergies to film their videos that have been designed the previous day.
● Post production of the videos that will compose the platform and accessibility features.
DAY 6 - Spreading the News
AIM- Design their targeting dissemination method, by identifying the best channels, keywords, attributes/traits and timeframes to reach and engage them to have the maximum impact.
● Spreading the news: Dissemination of a story on various channels and mediums.
● Identification of the target group, how to engage it.
● Subtitling of a video and the importance of meeting some standards.
● Selection of channels to disseminate the content that has been created.
● Tools to target the audience successfully.
DAY 7 - Post-truth Era and Podcast 102
AIM The day will discuss the rise of fake news and ways to mitigate it. Participants will create another podcast addressing fake news, a necessity after COVID-19.
● Spreading real news: Fake news phenomenon.
● Decalogue of conduct and media literacy.
● Cast It! Preparation and production of a podcast session, on fake news topics.
