Let’s talk about spring makeup! Many of you may have heard about the latest and greatest makeup trend via social media. If not, I’m here to get you in the know about the newest makeup trend that’s hopefully here to stay. Introducing cream makeup, y’all! Powder and liquid makeup are a thing of the past. Cream makeup is all the rage these days because it is ideal for everyone of all ages and skin types; it’s compatible with mature, youthful, sensitive, light, dark, textured, and even oily skin! Cream makeup doesn’t settle in fine lines and wrinkles like powder and liquid foundations. Instead, it provides hydration and a seamless, glowing finish, which is the number one makeup trend for Spring 2023.

As a Seint Makeup Artist, esthetician, and former injection nurse, I have had the privilege of performing client makeovers for years. Cream-based makeup is by far my favorite type of makeup to achieve the ever-so-popular flawless look. Another trend to look out for this season is the power brow. Yes, I said the power brow; brows are here in a big way, my friends! So, don’t be afraid to brush them up and wax them down, also known as the faux laminated brow, for all-day wear. This brow look goes hand in hand with the dewy, glowing, no-makeup trend. And finally, because skin is so in (and I’m a nurse and esthetician), it is so important to take care of and preserve your precious skin. One of the easiest ways to be on trend this season is to promote the glow. So, drink your water, hydrate your skin, wear your sunscreen, and make the transition to cream makeup.
