WHEN YOU GO OUT IN COSPLAY, HOW DO PEOPLE LOOK AT YOU? WHAT KIND OF COMMENTS DO THEY MAKE?

“When I go out for photoshoots, in my hometown, a very small community so many people don’t know anime or cosplay. So they look at me weirdly, and say things like, “What are they doing there?” but I can feel the difference now, back then they use to be, “What is that?” but now I get less of those comments, because people know that I’m cosplaying. The difference is quite noticeable. MANY PEOPLE COMMENT ON YOUR REALISTIC COSPLAYING, SAYING THEY LOOK “2.5D”. HOW DO YOU ACHIEVE THAT LOOK WITH MAKE UP?

I think contouring and eye make-up makes a huge difference, as well as the lip make-up. In contouring, you can make your face look sharper, or your nose higher so you can look more like the character. For the eye make-up, it’s not about the shape but the feeling you’re giving your audience and you want to make your lips look thin.
