Multidimensional Time And The Echoes of Ancient Indigenous Wisdom

Modern physics increasingly suggests that time is not a single, linear thread but a multidimensional field—dynamic, layered, and intimately intertwined with consciousness.

Concepts from quantum theory propose that past, present, and future exist simultaneously in a vast continuum. While these ideas may feel cutting-edge, they echo insights preserved for millennia within Indigenous traditions worldwide.

Ancient Indigenous wisdom often describes time as cyclical, spiraling, or weblike rather than strictly chronological. For many cultures, time is not something one moves through; it is something one participates with. The Lakota speak of mitákuye oyás’iŋ, the understanding that all beings and moments are interrelated. Hawaiian and Polynesian traditions describe time in terms of waves, where the past is carried forward and the future is felt through embodied resonance. Aboriginal Australian Dreamtime situates creation, ancestry, and the present world within a single living dimension, accessible not through clocks but through

perception, ritual, and place.

In these worldviews, time has thickness. It holds memory, potential, and the presence of those who came before. Rather than being “gone,” ancestral moments coexist with the now, offering guidance through dreams, intuition, and ceremonial access. This relational

experience of time mirrors scientific suggestions that information is never truly lost and that reality may be structured as overlapping layers of events, each influencing the other.

When we explore time as multidimensional, we are asked to soften the grip of linear thinking and re-attune to subtler rhythms—those of nature, body, and spirit. Indigenous wisdom teaches that we can access different temporal layers by shifting our state of awareness. A still mind, a grounded body, or a reverent approach to place can open pathways to insights that feel “from another time,” yet arise in the present moment.

In marrying modern theories with ancient perspectives, we discover a shared truth: time is not merely a sequence of ticking moments, but a living field of relationship. To understand it, we must not only study it, but listen to it.

Chasing Perfection

I grew up priding myself on getting straight A’s. As the middle child in a household shaped by my parents’ alcoholism, good grades became my way of staying visible without causing any anguish like my siblings. They were a safe path to self-esteem.

That bubble burst in college. I simply could not wrap my mind around Fortran programming. The day I accidentally created an endless loop with my punch cards—burning through all my allotted mainframe time in minutes—I knew I was in trouble. I eventually dropped the class.

Still, I graduated with high honors and a 3.8 GPA. Not long after, a brief job in publishing introduced me to the world of graphic arts. From there, my path unfolded in unexpected ways: for many years I co-published the Holistic Living News, eventually distributing 85,000 free copies every month.

Looking back, I sometimes wonder if I’ve confused the chase for perfection with simple workaholism. I’ve always pushed through long hours and ubiquitous deadlines, often while juggling other jobs. And yet, somehow, all that effort carried me to Maui 27 years ago, where I reinvented myself once again as a community publisher.

I’m far from perfect. And these days, the only thing I would like to chase is a slower, gentler pace.

The Perfection Saboteur

Growing up with a perfectionistic father, I learned early that 100 percent was the only acceptable goal. School reinforced the belief as stickers, praise, and validation all came with perfect scores. That mindset helped me succeed in college, graduate school, and my dream corporate job. So, when I first heard that perfectionism might actually be a bad thing, I was confused. How could something so good, so driven, ambitious, and self-motivating be harmful?

Over time, I began to see the shadow side of perfectionism. Beneath the polished surface lived stress, pressure, disappointment, and even self-loathing when I inevitably missed the mark. What I thought was simply working hard was actually a smooth and savvy saboteur, a coping mechanism for anxiety. Perfectionism gave me a false sense of control in an unpredictable world.

Anxiety is pervasive in our culture and often begins in childhood. Without tools to manage it, many of us adopt perfectionism because it is socially rewarded. Yet this strategy backfires. The perfection saboteur drives us with self-doubt and insecurity, whispering that we are never enough. It keeps us striving for control, but the cost is high: fear, worry, and burnout.

Life and leadership coaches help clients recognize and release these patterns by cultivating self-awareness and shifting mindsets toward inner wisdom and self-compassion. Natural approaches can also ease anxiety, including exercise, quality sleep, herbs and supplements, meditation, and the soothing sound and light therapy of the Harmonic Egg.

When we quiet the perfection saboteur, we open space for authenticity, creativity, and peace. Perfection may have fueled some past successes, but freedom comes when we no longer need it.

“Go Time!” Coming In 2026!

How did you fare this year? Did you get everything done? Achieve what you wanted? Astrologically, it has been a year of pressurized demands on steroids; of endings and beginnings, with the last quarter of 2025 back to endings and surrender, completions and dissolution all over again.

How can one Chase Perfection in a chaotic field that has left most overwhelmed altogether, with some downright disassociated from reality? Not all is lost – we are encouraged now by the planets to surrender, to let go finally of control issues, release all unrealistic self expectations, only to reveal one’s true authenticity and the real bearing of our vulnerable self.

Now is the time to empty out - Karmic South Node in Virgo, any and all narcissistic ways, self-criticism, negative judgments of self, and simply relinquish into Presence, into Love. Saturn in Pisces’s intention is for us to take responsibility in any remaining should's, guilt trips, particularly victim consciousness, and any self sacrifice tendency so as to create empty space. We are finishing up aeons of past traditions and old ways that are simply over. Opportunity abounds now to do so before life becomes very different next February 20, 2026, when Neptune and Saturn meet at zero degrees of Aries. The frequency of New Beginnings will ignite together with a pace of full-throttle warrior style.

Accordingly, the time is now to empty out our bodies and systems in preparation for ‘Go Time’ next year. 2026 will be completely reliant on your innate knowing, coming from your connection to Source. It’s a deep-dive kind of energy, therefore, to cocoon in and prepare now for how you will come on out next February with your bells and whistles chiming in just the right key that exudes your message. What is yours?

The Perfection Of What Is

At the surface of life, things appear divided: light and dark, gain and loss, pleasure and pain. On this horizontal plane of human experience, we feel deeply — celebrating joy, mourning sorrow, calling one “good” and the other “bad.” This is the world of contrast, and it’s real to the part of us that lives and strives within duality.

Beyond this horizontal plane lies a vertical dimension — the still axis of being itself. At that level, existence doesn’t split; it simply is. Rising and falling, coming and going, building and breaking are all one seamless movement. Nothing is ever lost or gained, only transformed.

Good and bad are not properties of reality but interpretations of the mind as it measures and compares. The mind divides while the heart unifies. When something meets our preference, we call it good. When it challenges us, we call it bad. Yet from the view of the Infinite, both are expressions of the same living wholeness.

To see this isn’t to deny suffering or ignore injustice. It’s to recognize that beyond the shifting weather of circumstance lies a deeper order — a perfection that includes imperfection, a silence that holds both laughter and grief. The vertical view doesn’t cancel the horizontal; it frees us from being trapped within it. From that stillness, we act with clarity and compassion, taking powerful action born of knowing.

When we rest, even briefly, in that awareness, life ceases to be a problem to fix and becomes a field of unfolding mystery. What we once called good or bad becomes simply what is — interwoven, whole. Freedom begins when we allow what is to be what it is and act from that still place.

Perfection reveals itself not as flawlessness but as total inclusion. Everything belongs. Everything serves. The universe has never made a mistake.

Communicating Authentically

Individually and collectively, we are creators, and every encounter we have with another human being is a creative opportunity. Our relationships are an integral and important part of our lives, from our relationships with our family members to our communities and to the whole world.

Aspiring to improve communication with others is fundamentally an act of self-inquiry and a path to awakening selfknowledge. If we allowed our day-to-day interactions with others to inspire our own evolution, we would be swiftly humbled on the path to greater clarity, compassion, and connection. Individually and collectively.

I think that communication is a creative opportunity. It’s an art. I like this definition of art: the use of skill and imagination in the production of a thing of beauty. We have the power to choose what we create in each moment. We can create beauty, which lifts and nourishes the spirit, or ugliness, which disparages and divides.

Communication is an opportunity for authenticity and connection through the process of cultivating clarity, both internally and externally. Through awareness, observation, honesty, and willingness, we can come to a greater understanding of ourselves and each other. Understanding the mind, which I define as a succession of states of consciousness characterized by will, thought, and feeling, is vital to freeing ourselves from unwanted influences and obstacles to clear communication.

When we know ourselves, we free ourselves. To awaken true communication is to become aware of the dynamics that move us and, unfortunately, at times rule us. Creating a strong foundation of self-inquiry and observation is the foundation for awakening true communication.

Allowing A Touch Of Magic

Allowing a touch of magic into our everyday lives is a way of staying sane in an insane world. Stirring the cream into our morning coffee in a deosil (clockwise) direction while setting the magical intention for the day and keeping an eye out for simple signs like recurring numbers, butterflies, dragonflies, a red or a blue bird, can bring about peace of mind amid the chaos of our lives.

When we have something vital to decide or to create, we can actually verbalize our intentions aloud. Candles play an important part in this kind of magical ritual. It’s important to choose a candle color that resonates with the energy you’re trying to achieve.

Choose red candles for health, pink for love and romance, blue or black for protection, green for wealth, purple for magic and intuition, brown for home and family, and yellow or orange for success.

It’s a good idea to buy small colored candles for these rituals, since sometimes you need to relight them for several days or let them burn completely out. Then you can write your intention on a piece of paper and place it under the candle. (The candle needs to be in some kind of safe receptacle, either a candleholder or a dish that can catch the wax dripping.)

The New Moon is a great time for setting these magical intentions. You can make up a little rhyme to focus the energy on your intention and repeat it three times. Then you can either snuff out the candle or let it burn out, whichever your Intuition tells you is right.

These simple rituals can bring a sense of magic into our lives and make each day a little brighter!

The Art Of Embracing Imperfection

The embodiment of perfection is actually the art of embracing imperfection.

And, as they say in the Alcoholics Anonymous tradition: Practice an attitude of gratitude for all your blessings.

As a “perfectionist in recovery,” I still fall off the wagon. I set myself up for disappointment when I don’t quite hit the mark — then dwell on it all day and night, like a priest self-flagellating. And honestly… why do I treat myself this way more than I ever would treat others?

Is it first-born pressure? Kupuna expectations? A competitive Aries with a Leo moon? Or just Little Ego whispering, “Not good enough”?

Wherever it comes from — past, present, or even future lives — it’s time to embrace our imperfections and forgive ourselves for the moments we’re unkind to ourselves or others.

Start with self-care, self-love, and releasing the big, loud ego through being of service. When we serve, we suddenly realize: I’m actually okay in this lovely bunch of coconuts.

That’s how I cope when people judge, criticize, or blame. Remember: we are human. We make mistakes. And mistakes are our greatest teachers — guiding our spiritual, emotional, and mental growth.

One of my favorite mantras is: “Do your best, give God the rest.”

And since we’re talking about ego… EGO is often defined as a person’s sense of self-importance. When it becomes inflated, we see narcissism —

the insecure bully in disguise. In AA, EGO stands for Edging God Out. So here’s another mantra: Embrace God’s Originality. We are born perfect in Ke Akua (God’s) eyes. It’s our imperfections that shape us, refine us, and draw us closer to Good Orderly Direction.

During this season of thanksgiving, live pono — with peace, love, harmony, and goodness within yourself and with others. Practice gratitude, kindness, acceptance, and forgiveness.

And if you slip? It’s okay. Recover… and love who you truly are.

Unleashing A Sacred Healing Ally Healthy Habits Nurture Balance

Sometimes, the body knows what the mind cannot fully grasp. Trauma, tension, or old patterns can live quietly in the nervous system, waiting for a gentle invitation to release. Cannabis, when approached with reverence and intention, can be that invitation — a sacred ally helping you feel love, bliss, forgiveness, and healing within your own body.

In a conscious cannabis coaching session, you might lie down, soft music playing, and simply allow yourself to notice sensations, emotions, and insights as they arise. Words may flow, or silence may hold you. Patterns soften. Clarity emerges. Your nervous system begins to find balance. The plant becomes a guide, not a crutch, helping you experience presence and integration in a way the mind alone cannot.

The power is in the approach. A safe, intentional setting allows the medicine to work in harmony with your body and heart. Misuse or casual use can overwhelm or distract, but ceremonial and conscious use unlocks deep insight, somatic healing, and nervous system restoration.

Through this process, you may feel what it is to be fully embodied — grounded, alive, and aligned with your own inner guidance. You may discover compassion for yourself and others, and an openness that feels expansive yet tender.

If you are ready to explore yourself in a gentle, supportive, and transformative way, a coaching session with cannabis offers a doorway to embodied clarity, healing, and self-discovery. It is an invitation to meet yourself exactly where you are, honor what arises, and step fully into presence.

Micro Needling For Radiant Skin

It’s true that many of us are really chasing perfection, and we do really care about our appearance. When we look good, we feel good, and when we feel good, we radiate Health through our eyes and our skin.

Micro needling is one of the most effective ways to rejuvenate your skin. It uses ultra-fine needles to create very shallow microinjuries in the skin. It activates the body’s healing response.

As the skin repairs these micro-injuries, it significantly increases collagen and elastin production. Studies have shown that micro needling increases collagen by 400 percent and elastin by about 100 percent. This makes it one of the most effective and powerful non-invasive treatments for facial rejuvenation.

The production of collagen helps soften fine lines and wrinkles, reduces acne scars, and improves texture and tone. It also minimizes pores and diminishes sun damage.

One can notice benefits after a few sessions. The skin continues to rejuvenate over time. Another advantage of treatments is product absorption. Depending on what your skin therapist is using, it can really support the skin to rejuvenate and regenerate quickly.

This accelerates and improves results, depending on what you’re using. Many acupuncturists are also trained in micro needling techniques. They may also choose to add Red Light Therapy, Gua sha, cupping, or facial needling to the treatment.

There are six primary meridians that go to the face. The channels either begin and/or pass through key areas of the face and are responsible for circulation, vitality expression, and overall skin health. As you get your face treated, you are actually benefiting your whole body. Micro needling is minimally invasive and requires little downtime. With consistent treatments, the skin will become firmer, smoother, and more radiant.

Maurgana Stiastny, LAc, MAcOM, LMT, has been an acupuncturist and natural healthcare practitioner for 34 years. Find her at Maui Vibrant Health in Paia, or call her at 808.579.8810.

Balancing the perfection of healthy habits while avoiding unhealthy obsessions is a delicate act of mindfulness and self-awareness. Healthy habits are meant to nurture balance – restoring physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Yet when the pursuit of health becomes overly rigid or obsessive, it can lead to the very imbalance one is trying to avoid. Perfectionism in wellness – constantly chasing the “ideal” diet, body, or lifestyle – can create anxiety, guilt, and even burnout.

Massage therapy, for instance, promotes relaxation, relieves stress, improves circulation, and helps reconnect the body with inner calm. Yet even massage therapy can become an obsession when someone has more massages than they actually need, such as having one every day. That could become a financial burden, but at least the body, mind, and spirit would feel relaxed.

True wellness comes from loving ourselves unconditionally with compassion. It’s about listening to the body’s needs rather than controlling them. Allowing flexibility, a missed workout, a day of indulgence, or simply resting without guilt honors the natural rhythm of life. Exercising, having regular massage therapy, or maintaining a nutritious diet should be acts of self-care, not self-punishment.

Balance means accepting that wellness is not a fixed destination but a lifelong journey of flow and adjustment. By embracing imperfection and staying grounded in self-kindness, one can enjoy the full benefits of healthy habits without turning them into unhealthy obsessions. In this harmony, body, mind, and spirit truly thrive.

Are Seed Oils Really Bad?

Known as the “hateful eight,” seed oils include canola, corn, cottonseed, grapeseed, rice bran, safflower, soybean, and sunflower. Peanut oil is also considered one. These oils are widely used in processed and ultraprocessed foods, restaurants, and fast food because they’re cheap—but what’s the cost to our health?

According to Cleveland Clinic and Harvard Health, seed oils are high in linoleic acid (LA), an omega-6 fatty acid that converts to arachidonic acid, which drives inflammation. While omega-6 fatty acids have benefits, the problem is imbalance: most Americans consume omega-6 to omega-3 in ratios of 10:1 to 20:1, compared to the ideal 4:1 or even 1:1. This imbalance fuels inflammation linked to arthritis, heart disease, cognitive decline, autoimmune issues, asthma, obesity, stroke, and Type 2 diabetes.

Omega-3 fatty acids—found in fish such as salmon, mackerel, sardines, trout, and tuna— counter inflammation and support heart, brain, and cellular health. Plant sources like flax and chia provide omega-3s, but with far less DHA/EPA (docosahexaenoic acid/eicosapentanoic acid) than fish oils.

Many seed oils are refined with high heat or solvents, which can oxidize fats and produce harmful byproducts. Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils (trans fats) are especially damaging. Healthier cooking choices include avocado oil, coconut oil, ghee, and tallow, with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) best for salad dressings or low-heat cooking.

The challenge? Dining out. Most eateries use cheap oils. But consumers have power. Ask restaurants to use avocado oil, coconut oil, or ghee, and EVOO for dressings—just as gluten-free eaters advocate for their needs. I once brought coconut oil to a favorite spot, and they agreed to cook with it. The result: healthier, tastier meals.

Note: Olive oil may not suit everyone. Some research suggests it benefits those with Mediterranean ancestry but could trigger inflammation in others with Asian ancestry, such as myself. Individual responses vary, so it’s worth experimenting.

Seeking Perfection

A beautiful picture has a lot of backstory, both from the subject and the witness. As a photographer, that is my work: to see the perfection in others that they don’t see, which, honestly, is better than trying to see it in myself. Thank God for that. We are weaving in this realm, and we cannot do it alone. Seeing ourselves as perfect is absolutely narcissistic and finite; where can we improve from there? But seeing a perfect moment in others is innocent. It’s a moment in time, it won’t last, and it’s absolute love that doesn't need anything in that moment.

We got engraved at some point in our lives that we weren’t enough, either by parents, peers, love, interest, or something we watched. The perfectionist set in, but it had two sides. As much as it was putting down the self-imposed image, it was also the drive to improve it. We tend to see things very much one way and judge the perfectionist, but how nice is it to step into a clean, beautiful home? How nice is it to be surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature? How nice is it to visit an immaculate spa for the day? It’s... perfect. Like a nice meal when they make a cucumber look like a lotus flower, mahalo!

It is maybe not so bad to have a perfectionist; we all do. Think back to cultures that were way more accepting of it and created timeless beauty in honor of creation. We have an innate desire to rise beyond what we know, to perfect what seems lost, and maybe that’s not such a bad thing. I just hope we can laugh in compassion about it along the way.

Roots Of Perfectionism

In a society where perfectionism is often expected, we may not recognize that it can be a byproduct of unprocessed trauma. As a therapist, I’ve seen countless ways perfectionism shows up as a protective pattern deeply rooted in the nervous system’s drive for safety and connection. It isn’t a personality flaw but a learned behavior that develops over time. Early experiences of unpredictability, criticism, or pressure can wire the body to mistake “being perfect” with “being safe.” The nervous system’s job is to respond to perceived threat, and for many, that threat is the fear of rejection, disapproval, or not being enough.

A helpful self-inquiry question is, “When did my nervous system first learn that I had to get it right to be loved?” When we gently witness these protections from a place of awareness, we shift from control to regulation and ease. This process invites us to meet the parts of ourselves that carry discomfort—physical, emotional, mental, or relational—with curiosity and compassion.

In that sacred space, the burden of perfection can begin to lift. In my intuitive counseling approach, I help people move from hypervigilance or the freeze response into regulation and intuitive alignment. This process supports co-regulation and integrates the mindbody-heart-spirit connection, allowing for greater spaciousness and safety between one’s higher self and all inner parts.

When we witness the perfectionist aspect that learned to perform for approval, basic acknowledgment allows it to rest in the deep relief of simply being. As we hold compassionate space for all parts of ourselves, we soften protection and open to higher guidance, creativity, and trust in our inner wisdom. Healing isn’t the pursuit of perfection, but the gentle recovery of the wholeness that has always lived inside us.

Allowing Perfection

Whether it is the beginning of a new year or the beginning of a new day, you are always free to make a fresh start. Like pushing a reset button, you can take a deep breath and feel peaceful, knowing that everything is expressing in perfect harmony and your highest good is manifesting. You remind yourself that your soul is always expressing perfection, that peace is yours, and all is well.

Sometimes a dream feels too far away, or a goal feels impossible to achieve. With the help of hypnosis, thoughts of doubt or insecurity are replaced with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

Nothing can stop you from stepping out into the world to fulfill your potential.

If you are worried or fearful, hypnosis can help you visualize a protective bubble around you, keeping you safe and secure, reminding you that nothing in your outer world has the power to harm you. Hypnosis helps you open your mind to new realizations and ways to fulfill your deepest intentions and goals.

Hypnosis can help you remember the truth of who you are, awakening more fully to your true essence, helping you joyfully move into every day, seeing the opportunities to share your gifts.

Hypnosis gives you the confidence to trust your inner guidance, knowing you are in the right place at the right time.

With the help of hypnosis, you can learn to relax and let go. You might recall a time in your life when you felt frustrated that events did not unfold the way you had expected. You can now see how they unfolded perfectly, often in ways better than you would have imagined.

Regardless of how you get there, what matters most is that you become open and receptive, trusting in that perfection.

Stop Chasing Perfectionism

In a culture obsessed with perfection, many of us internalize the unspoken message that we’re not good enough as we are. We overwork, over-polish, and over-prepare in hopes of finally “arriving” — but arriving where? The perfect job, body, relationship, or life? Perfection is a mirage, always shifting and forever out of reach. And in the constant chase, we reinforce the subconscious belief that we are somehow flawed, unworthy, or “less than.”

But what if our true worth isn’t defined by performance, achievement, or external validation — but by something much deeper? What if each of us is, at our core, a spark of the divine: luminous, whole, powerful, and already enough? This is the foundational truth behind the work at Go Get It Energy Healing. At Go Get It Energy Healing, we recognize that many feelings of inadequacy stem from energetic blockages. Old trauma, limiting beliefs, emotional patterns, and unconscious conditioning can cloud our awareness and keep us disconnected from our highest self. Through modalities such as Reiki, the Bengston Method™, Rainbow Energy Healing, sound healing, and more, we help clients release those blocks, restore balance, and realign with their innate wholeness. Energy healing supports the body, mind, and spirit in remembering what is already true: you are not broken, and you do not need to earn your worth.

Energy work doesn’t demand perfection. In fact, striving for perfection often works against healing. Energy work invites you to soften, to be gentle with yourself, and to let go of the belief that you must “fix” something before you deserve peace, connection, or clarity. It reminds you that worthiness is innate — and present right now, doubts and imperfections included. Let go of perfection. Trust your path. Allow yourself to feel — deeply — that you are already whole, already worthy, and already divine.

Frequency And Energy Hygiene

Your energy field is like a radio station. When you’re aligned, it broadcasts a clear frequency. When you’re not, the signal gets fuzzy. Discernment helps you tune the dial. You notice which conversations elevate your energy, and which ones drain it. You become aware of which spaces feel nourishing, and which ones feel like energetic quicksand.

Just like you wouldn't drink from a murky glass of water, you learn to stop taking in unclear or contaminated energy. You become selective —not out of fear or judgment ¬– but out of love for your field.

And when you do take something on (because you're human), discernment helps you clear it. You recognize: “This tension isn’t mine,” or “I'm picking up on collective fear,” and you take action — whether through breathwork, frequency, journaling, or simply returning to center.

Personal Insight: There was a time when I thought being intuitive meant feeling everything. I prided myself on being able to walk into a room and instantly sense who was hurting, who was hiding, and who was holding on by a thread. But over time, it became overwhelming. I couldn’t tell if what I was feeling was mine—or someone else’s.

I’d have days where I felt heavy for no clear reason. I’d suddenly feel anxious or drained, only to realize later that I had picked up on someone else’s emotional field. I started questioning my own moods, unsure of what was real and what was residue.

The turning point came when I began practicing energetic discernment. I learned to pause before assuming a feeling was mine. I would ask, "Is this mine to carry?" And if I felt even a flicker of dissonance, I'd clear my field.

That small shift changed everything.

Waking Up To The Reality Of Love

Our bodies are always seeking balance to keep us in joy! That's our destined and natural S.O.B. – state of being. Our Creator wants us to be happy as much as we can, in between the challenging moments that we are “learning our lessons.” We certainly came here to learn and grow to fulfill our own individual purpose, but we were not intended to suffer.

Once we wake up to a conscious reality of love, we want to be happy and be a loving and beneficial force here on this precious planet, so our bodies, minds, and Spirit intuitively seek perfection and balance on all levels. Many of us here are small kine organic farmers, and we support other organic businesses, which helps our personal health and the planet stay balanced.

While visiting family in California, I had a download last week that we are Planetarians, those of us who care deeply about the health and well being of Mother Earth and tend to her needs to keep her vibrant and high frequency as much as we can. We know that the more we stay in a positive, loving state of mind and a healthy body, the more we help keep the earth in her natural perfection.

I propose a new focus: The Planetarian Peace Party, a healthy alternative to globalist thinking. Let’s come together as individuals and as a community with the common goal of taking care of our common mother. We just need a wealthy beneficiary, and we can create magic!

Chasing Perfection Is Not Being Present

Perfection isn’t an action; it’s what remains when you stop chasing, judging, or doing. Many believe that to succeed, one must be better, which can lead to excellence but also stress and health issues. Thus, chasing is not the truth and never leads to perfection.

True perfection lies in accepting what is and honoring your soul’s lessons throughout life. An unconscious urge to deny or overcompensate for perceived shortcomings can trigger self-devaluation conflicts. According to German New Medicine (GNM), these conflicts arise during unexpected traumatic events, leading to feelings of inadequacy. When similar situations arise, they trigger a desire to resolve these conflicts.

GNM consultations help patients become aware of the connection between current triggers and original events. This awareness allows the psyche to stop reacting, making it easier to release the need for perfection. This aligns with the Biblical phrase: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.”

True perfection involves learning lessons with compassionate, presentmoment awareness. It allows for the natural progression of perfection, enabling the body, mind, and spirit to handle similar future episodes with ease and grace.

Life Is Linked To Infinity Helping Foster Kids To Smile

Analemma photography creates stunning multiple-exposure images of the sun, using 30 to 50 frames captured weekly from the exact position and time over the course of a year. Because of the commitment required, some 20 people worldwide have produced successful analemma photographs.

One such photo was created in Maui atop Haleakalā by Rob Ratkowski, master photographer and president of Haleakalā Amateur Astronomers. This analemma shows the sun’s highest point at the summer solstice and its lowest at the winter solstice, tracing a graceful figure eight—the symbol of Infinity.

Most remarkable is the unmistakable link between the sun’s path, the infinity symbol and our very bodies. The double helix of DNA is a continuous chain of figure eights, imprinting infinity within our genes!

Infinity’s many meanings include eternity and everlasting love. Throughout history it’s represented perfection, duality, and empowerment. In ancient Egypt, pharaohs wore headbands adorned with snakes shaped like a figure eight, as did the staffs of Hellenistic figures Hermes and Asclepius. In Indian traditions, it appears in depictions of Kundalini energy and in Chinese tradition, eight represents wealth and prosperity.

Perhaps not coincidentally, the earth’s crust is composed primarily of eight elements — oxygen, silicon, aluminum, iron, calcium, sodium, potassium, and magnesium. Each of these elements are vital to a balanced diet.

Eight is associated with resurrection and regeneration. The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus’ presents the cycle perfectly: That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above, corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing.

Infinity, acting as the “One Thing,” provides constant balance and harmony in an endless cycle of renewal in our physical and spiritual realms. This creates inner peace, which when summoned counters the chaos and turmoil in our external world.

James Gordon enjoys truth, beauty and goodness living on Maui. View Rob Ratkowski's stunning photo on the Maui Stargazing page, Facebook, Oct. 14, 2017.

Why do I love looking into babies’ eyes? Why do I like to engage them with a smile? Nothing makes me happier than to look into a baby’s eyes and get a big, beautiful smile! It’s life’s true innocence. While growing up, there was conflict in our home; unfortunately, it didn’t feel safe, and I didn't feel protected. But there was always one person outside my family of origin who could encourage and reassure me that I was okay and safe.

I spent a great deal of my adult life healing the windy path of my childhood, and I know that I am not alone on this journey. Child Protective Services was not so prevalent during my childhood, although sometimes I had wished I was “adopted” so my real family could come and get me!

It appears that when we heal a part of ourselves, we often develop a genuine desire to support others in their journeys. So, it seems that we generally heal a part of ourselves, then pivot and have an inner passion to help others. The foster children caught my attention.

“If my own mother doesn’t want me, no one else will either, and I will prove it to you” is their basic belief. A large percentage of inmates in our prisons are men and women who did not bond with their mother/ parents and seek to find it somewhere else, with the belief that “I am not enough.”

I have started Support Groups for the kids. By being in groups with other children, they learn that they are not alone in their feelings, that they matter in this world, and that they have a purpose. Again, I love seeing the “smile,” the recognition that they matter and they are safe.

Choosing What You Want

A wise inner teacher once told me, “Choice is Always Present!” Choice, or the power to choose or right to choose, may always be present, but how often do we make conscious choices? Certainly, if we don’t like our current experience, we can choose again at any moment. We actually make choices all day long, whether consciously or unconsciously, but we are most creative and effective in our lives when we make conscious choices – to have, to do, to be – something we truly want.

Sometimes our Inner Selves feed us our True Desires, which we can consciously choose or claim. When I was 14, I had to have my tonsils removed. As I was being wheeled into the operating room, I reached out my hand and touched the door jam. I found myself saying, “I am touching this on the way in just to make sure I will be here on the way out!” I believe my Inner Self fed me this idea, which I chose before my surgery.

As it happened, I bled out during the operation, and the doctors had to work very hard to restart my heart. All of life was honoring the conscious choice that I had made on the way into the operating room.

Not all of our choices are about life and death. Sometimes I choose or claim to be inspired to clean my room, or attract more prosperity, or feel beauty in my day. As long as my choice is for good, and I am claiming, “this or better,” I am not limiting my good. I am saying to the Creative Law, “This is the highest and best I can think of, but if there is something better for me, bring me that!”
