ARTLab Maui

This summer at ARTLab Maui we are celebrating all the things kids love. Our kid culture theme art camps and workshops are going to be a blast! Young artists will be creating and experimenting with all kinds of unique materials and techniques. Camps include Squish Squad, IckySticky, Toon Time, Glitterbomb, Toyland, and Paws & Claws Camp. Young Artmakers

Maui Arts & Cultural Center brings back its popular Young Artmakers visual arts education program, taking place this summer at Schaefer International Gallery. Led by teaching artists and gallery staff, the program will provide young artists an opportunity to meet and make new friends while enhancing and exercising their creative skills. Class offerings include hands-on workshops for elementary, middle, and high school students in a unique range of media. Each session will meet for four consecutive classes over the course of a week. Participants will also have the opportunity to discover the gallery’s exhibition MACC Biennial 2025 in a guided tour as part of their class. Make Believe Camp - Be whisked away to the land of make-believe! Children will spend each uniquely themed week dancing, telling stories, creating crafts, and more! On the last day, we invite families into the classroom to share what we learned together.

Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center

Camp Kaluanui (Ages 6–10) - Camp Kaluanui offers a diverse visual arts curriculum geared to exercise the imagination, keep the body active, and develop individual self-expression and creativity—while having fun! Campers paint, design, construct, sculpt, draw, and play their way through exciting artistic activities each day. Each week offers a new theme, new hands-on projects, and a variety of art materials to explore! Summer Camp Kaluanui culminates in a gallery exhibition and opening celebration of keiki artists and their incredible artwork!

Kaluanui Teens & Tweens Art Academy (Ages 11–15) - The Hui’s Art Academy gives teens an opportunity to develop creativity and fundamental art skills by exploring the wide variety of art media offered at the Hui. Each day, young artists will experience two workshops taught by the Hui’s inspired teaching artists. Weekly sessions include an assortment of classes which may include painting, drawing, metalsmithing, jewelry fabrication, silkscreen, photography, printmaking, ceramics, and more! This fun-filled academy will inspire teens with hands-on projects to build fine art skills and develop innovative thinking.

Vertical Sports Camp

Vertical Sports Maui provides the biggest sports camp on the island! Sports include basketball, soccer, athletics, cheer, baseball, flag football, pickleball volleyball, hula, flag rugby, Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Paddling for ages 7–14, and Sports Trifecta for ages 5–6. We will have 25 world-class coaches flying in from the mainland to direct each sport along with local volunteers. At this camp, we use the platform of sport to inspire and equip youth physically, mentally, and spiritually. Hope you can join us!

Hawai‘i Nature Center's Nature Adventure Camp

The Hawai‘i Nature Center is excited to announce the relaunch of its historic Nature Adventure Camps. From exploring lush forests and pristine coastlines to discovering the fascinating wildlife that thrives on Maui, each week offers hands-on experiences in some of the island's most stunning habitats. In partnership with Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge, the science-based program develops experience through the five senses and also sharpens their skills in observation, science literacy, writing and art. This summer's themes include: "Habitats of Hawai'i," "Fantastic Fauna," and "Abundant Ahupua‘a."

Camp Kama‘aina Kids

At Kama‘aina Kids, children will have the opportunity to build friendships, learn new skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime! Our program this year, A Summer Full of Wonder, is built around hands-on, enriching activities focusing on the world around us. Each week will include a variety of experiences—both on-site and off-site—which are planned by our staff and aimed at strengthening each child’s Social Emotional Learning through hands-on and collaborative engagements. Each week is designed to provide a basis for introducing new concepts to our students, in a safe and cooperative environment.

Maui Huliau Foundation

Maui Huliau Foundation offers multiple ‘āina-based summer programs for Maui youth ages 12–18 in partnership with other community organizations. EcoAdventure for grades 7–9 visits multiple sites with activities including beach cleanups, swimming, working in a lo‘i, and more. Marine Science Summer Camp is open to students ages 14-18 and focuses on protecting Maui’s marine ecosystems, as well as careers relating to coral reef protection, native seabirds, watershed restoration, and more. Maui Humane Society's Animal Exploration Summer Camp

Maui Humane Society invites animal lovers entering 3rd grade through 8th grade to explore careers in animal welfare, connect with animals, learn about humane care, and more — all while making new friends! Through hands-on activities, games, and guest speakers campers will gain a deeper understanding of veterinary science, animal care and enrichment, animal advocacy, and responsibility toward our furry friends.

Ocean Camp - Pacific Whale Foundation’s Ocean Camp offers fun, adventure, and learning for children entering or currently enrolled in grades 2-5. Campers learn about the ocean and Maui’s natural environment while developing skills and making new friends. Each week features a unique ocean-related theme with daily hands-on science lessons, team-building games and expressive crafts, as well as nature-based field trips, including private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures’ vessels. Ocean Camp: A Deeper Dive - Ocean Camp: A Deeper Dive offers an advanced look at the ocean ecosystem for students entering grade 6-8. The program provides a dynamic learning experience that encourages participants’ growth as environmental stewards by building connections amongst each other, our community, and our shared planet. The learning and fun will extend beyond the classroom through daily nature-based field trips including private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures vessels. Each weekly session accommodates a maximum of 20 participants.

Pono Grown Farm & Nature Camp

Our program is designed to weave the skills of nature connection into fun daily activities such as scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, craft projects, gentle gardening, experiential learning games, onfarm exploration, introduction to navigation, shelter building and other wilderness skills, direct observation and mindfulness moments to engage all the senses, and water play. The outdoor “classroom” of our 15-acre farm just above Makawao provides countless teachable moments of wonder and sense of place in the natural world.

Summer at Seabury

This summer, turn learning into an exciting adventure for your child with Summer at Seabury. Our signature summer program makes academics fun by sparking curiosity, nurturing hidden talents, and inspiring a love for learning through hands-on, engaging activities. For students entering grades 1–6 in Fall 2025, Session I is from June 2 to June 13, and Session II is from June 16 to June 27. Students entering grades 7+ can participate in our week-long academic and artistic workshops, including culinary arts, theater production, and math challenges, created to nurture creativity and build essential skills for middle and high school students.

Hawaii Technology Academy

Registration for HTA’s 2025 Virtual Summer School program is open to all Hawai‘i resident students in Grades 9–12.

High school students, catch up on classes or explore new interests this summer. HTA’s virtual summer school is a five-day-a-week program. On some days students meet online with their teacher and peers; on other days they log on for independent assignments. HTA is a leader in virtual education and our teachers know how to keep classes engaging and relevant. Courses are offered for both credit recovery and credit advancement. They include Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, World History, U.S. History and Government, World History, P.E. Life Fitness and Activities, and Health Or dive into fun elective courses with Theatre Arts, Music Makers I, or Financial Literacy.
