American elite martial arts Youth classes offered on Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30pm for all ages interested in learning the basics of martial arts in a fun and active environment.

HIGH FITNESS DANCE CARDIO

A dance cardio workout that combines high energy aerobics and interval training set to fun music with easy to follow fitness choreography. Adaptable for all ages, stages, and levels of fitness. Classes will be offered Monday and Friday mornings, 9:30-10:20am. Cost is $7.00 per session or you have the option of purchasing a 10-class pass for $60.

soul line dance In partnership with ASC and Purple Steppers, a free Soul Line Dance class will be offered every Monday from 12pm-1pm at Crews Recreation Center. Classes resume on Monday, January 23.

yoga classes at the Mcdowell arts center Yoga Nidra DEEP RELAXATION WITH ROSEMARY 75-minute session | February 13 7pm-8:15pm | $25 Bring your yoga mat and some blankets and prepare yourself for total, deep relaxation. This is not a physical exercise, but rather a technique for physical rejuvenation, mental relaxation, spiritual growth and overall wellness. Class will be held upstairs in the art gallery.

The practice is a combination of slow flow and deep stretches.

This tap class is great for beginners or dancers with some tap experience. Classes will include fundamental tap technique, movements and vocabulary, basic rhythms and combinations both across the floor and center. Broadway and jazz tap styles will be taught. Tap legends and the rich history of tap dance will be discussed as well. Dance has been proven to help with reflexes, coordination and improve concentration and memory!

Glue Gun Art with Kathy Small January 18 | 6pm-7:30pm | Ages 18+ Come enjoy the art of glue guns! We will be creating 3-dimensional pieces of art using glue guns and acrylic paint on canvas!
