On the 500th anniversary of the King's Great Matter, KATHARINE reimagines Katharine of Aragon's story. This immersive experience blends live performance, evocative dance, and a meticulously crafted recorded soundscape to transform a traditional building tour into a profound exploration of Katharine's journey as Queen.

OUTLINE INFO

KATHARINE is designed to be performed in cathedrals, churches, historic buildings, and ruins (especially ruins that are a product of the Reformation). The performance lasts 50 minutes and accomodates up to 30 people at a time. The show/tour can run up to four times a day, and is designed to be played whilst the building is open to the general public. We are also interested in developing enhanced performances for schools, and VIP / exclusive performances (such as by candle light outside of normal opening hours).

The company bring 2 performers, 30 silent disco headsets and all necessary equipment and support staff as needed

We ask for

A changing / relaxation space including power for charging equipment, at least 1 steward to join us on each tour, and ticketing and marketing through your usual visitor services teams.

For all performances there will be one advance visit by the creative team where the tour route will be mapped & local connections and history established. Where available the team will go on one of your existing tours where possible.
