CHAPTER ONE

The Chase

Arkayna Celeste Goldenbrook Hannah Wu

Arkayna is the daughter of the Goldenbrooks. The Goldenbrooks

are mythical people who are both shapeshifters and elementals. Arkayna has always been a sweet and sassy, little girl who loves sugar and everything sweet. However, this girl is not who she seems on the outside. She is mainly sweet and sassy, but when she gets mad, her temper can match a fiery dragon… or she turns into one… Arkayna is basically the description of the product of a mixture of rainbows, power, and chaos. She tends to be a bit mischievous… and definitely holds her grudges. There hasn’t been a single argument that Arkayna hasn’t won. She can shoot withering glares at anybody she doesn’t like (and she rarely gets mad)... or turns them to stone when she turns into a Medusa. Arkayna’s mood definitely connects to her shapeshifting. Due to the fact that she’s a shapeshifter, she can look like anyone or anything, so at times it’s hard to tell who she is. But typically, she is in the form of an angel with silky, golden blond hair that’s tied into a braid that goes down past her waist, bright and shiny crystal blue eyes, and rosy peach skin. Arkayna is the youngest person among her family, and that says a lot. Because everyone in her entire family are shapeshifters and elementals, it’s almost impossible for them to die, not including unnatural reasons. In her humongous family, there’s her mother and father, her 19 - yes, 19 - siblings (not including herself), 28 aunts, 27 uncles, all of her grandparents, all of her great-grandparents, 15 great, great-grandparents, 4 great, great-grandparents, 1 great, great, great-grandparent, about 30 siblings in law, many, many pets, and way too many other people to count. Her family lives in a kingdom called Aurelie, in a golden palace high up on a hill. (Everyone in Aurelie has a home like this.) Each person in her family has a special power, something that no one else in the world can obtain (unless, of course, your power is made for that). The date of the day a family member obtains their power varies throughout the family tree. Arkayna’s power had turned out to be inheritance, the only power that allowed one to absorb someone else’s power without removing it from the original

person. So far, the only powers she’s inherited are cloning, conjuring, flight, and telekinesis. Arkayna doesn’t have many fears, but the things she’s scared of terrify her. She only has 3 fears… so far. She has a fear of dead things, blood, and the dark. Her dislikes fill in the extra patches of her fears, though. She absolutely detests the sound of nails on chalkboards, sitting still for a long time, pollution, small spaces (she isn’t scared of them, she just doesn’t like them), lack of sugar, bad jokes, gross food combos, late people, waking up early, and much more. Her likes, on the other hand, are books, jewels, gold, shiny items, dresses and skirts, stars and planets, cooking and baking, sugar, fairy tales, shapeshifting, mythical creatures, learning, languages, flowers, the colours green, blue, and purple, debate, art, reading, music, animals, stuffed animals, and way more stuff. Even though Arkayna is only 160 years old (which is basically the equivalent to 16 years for an average human), she was hired by the Keepers of the Lost Cities because of her abilities to shapeshift and charm the facts out of people. The only problem? The fact that she’s terrible at physically fighting and hasn’t exactly mastered her powers and shapeshifting... This is bound to end well, right?

The chase Christina Ye

My Character My character, Arwen “Wren” Schnee, is both adventurous yet also quiet. She often spends afternoons reading stories of the ancient elves of middle-earth on her window ledge. Arwen herself is an elf, named after one of the ancient queens. Her hair is the colour of emeralds, her skin as pale as snow. She is dressed in a light blue dress that goes down to her toes. Wren lives in the town of Rivendell, one of the last kingdoms that still stand. Sometimes Wren is often seen hunting or practicing swordplay in the woods behind her home. She does so in secret, as Wren is a rather secretive person, likewise stubborn and doesn’t like to be bothered. When she grows up, she wants to be a huntress like her 2 older sisters.

Family Arwen has two sisters, Weiss ( Why-ss) and Elva. Both trained at Beacon academy, in the KIngdom of Atlas. Her father, Callon is the owner of a local weaponry shop which sells all sorts of spears, swords, and bows. Eleanor, their mother, is a patient and noble member of the elvish court. The family is tightly knit inside the royal family, and is rather wealthy. They are loving and supportive of each other regardless of the situation.

Hobbies As mentioned earlier, Arwen is a bookworm, and also enjoys the outdoors. Most of the time she is outside, whether it's hunting, reading, or completing homework. This year, she was invited to track down a mysterious man along with other creatures, without learning any information beforehand. She accepted the offer, but only intends to stay a year as she plans to study at Beacon immediately after. She fights with a bow, made from her father's shop. It is simple looking, but is made from the finest wood in the kingdom. The arrows are made from ivory and are as

sharp as a needle. Wren learned magic from her mother, who is deeply gifted with the ability to teach. Her wand is short but nimble - perfectly matching her diligent hands. It is made of vinewood and unicorn hair, perfect for enchantments and healing.

The chase It is 11:00 am, elvish time, as we drive down the kingdom to the docking station. Outside, the sun makes every plant glow, and every tree looks like it’s from a dream. We sit in silence, listening to the rhythm of the horses hooves until we arrive. “ Here we are,” my father says from the front. “ Let’s get you out, Arwen.” My sisters deliver a goodbye, telling me to remember everything I’ve learned. My mother and father have a proud look on their faces as I join the rest of the group. I watch as the carriage fades away into the distance, and I can no longer see my sisters waving hands. On the hike, I get to know each of the members in the crew, from scholars to turnips to mousemen. Seriously? A turnip? How will he fight like that? We arrive in the northwest town of Brixton, and settle down in the Leaky Keg, a local tavern. It is here we are introduced to our mission: track the man in the shadows and bring him back. We have no idea why, and it creates chatter around our group. Hannah, one of the team members, tries to ask the man about the shadow figure. “Who is he, and why are we chasing him?” The man just says, “ He’s dangerous” and we continue with our mission. Our team backs him into the corner, and just as we reach out to him, he vanishes into thin air. Strangely, it reminds me of a book I’ve read, where a ring gives you power to disappear when you put it on. His figure appears just outside the window, and we trail him deeper into the city. He runs into the mountains, us on his tail. He doesn’t actually have a tail, but you know what I mean. As we get higher and higher, It becomes harder to breath. We see a glimpse of his figure, but then he disappears into fog and we are lost once again. The crew moves deeper into the air, suddenly becoming foggy and quite hard to see. It looks like there is a bridge, so our group decides to cross. The fog swirls around us , wind gusting everywhere. Oddly, the bridge seems to go up and down.

One minute we are walking uphill, but a second later it changes. What’s going on? Something looms out of the clouds, and we quickly realize it is the man, We jog, being careful not to trip over any rocks due to our blinded eyesight. Using some magic, we clear out some of the fog, making a clearer path. The bridge finally ends, and we are on solid ground. But are we? It still has that same rocking feeling even though it is a cliff. Some of us look over the edges of the mountain, and see that it appears to be moving. Soon, we begin to realize that maybe it's just us, but that still seems impossible. Soldiers surround us, walking in sync. Confusion is what you read from our faces, as someone yells “ Silence! You’re under arrest.” What is happening? The people handcuff us and lead us into a large building, telling us we have arrived at Exandria. I recognize this in my fairy tales, but this place is supposed to be a myth! It's a floating kingdom, with water that flows down the sides and evaporates before it reaches land. Let’s talk about the leader. His name is Roen, a tall man with a short beard. We arrive at what seems to be a castle, beautiful paintings on the roof, reminding me of Michelangelo. As we walk into the throne room, people are crowded around the glowing red carpet. A man sits on the throne, next to what seems to be an elegant elvish sorceress with dark skin. The king asks, “What is the matter of this disturbance?” Hosun tries to explain, the king asking where the shadow went. Roen replies, “Nowhere” , and a burst of chatter rumbles amongst the leaders. People everywhere seemed to be lined up to see the king for various reasons. The hall is filled with conversation as I scour the crowd for shadow man. Then I see it: a black figure standing at the back of the room, frozen. I am about to take off, but I am stopped by a guard and tell him what’s going on. “I think that may be the person who was chasing us, and I would like to pursue him.” I say, in a matter-of-factly tone. I’m not so sure if he heard me, which isn’t surprising given my naturally quiet voice. He replies with “We will see” and takes a look at the crowd for himself. “I know you all are frustrated,” The king says as he delivers a message to the townspeople, “Lately our kingdom has not been at good terms, but we are working to improve that. I ask all of you for you patience, and to remember I am

always here for help. Thank you.” As the chatter grows back, our team spots a large jar floating in mid-air, coming right at us. All of a sudden, it explodes, and shards of glass fling everywhere. Everything seems to move in slow motion, from Roen reaching for the king and the woman casting a spell. A wall comes in between us in the jar, and everyone freezes. The king yells, startled, and the room seems to be peaceful for a moment. Nevermind, I take that back. The chaos commenced as we saw that the shadow man was able to move on the other side of the wall. The sorceress whispered a charm, and the shadow broke down like dust. Roen, who was fighting the shadow, burst through the wall and gently kissed the king. That’s when we all realized that they were married. Roen and the king sit down and tell us “You guys have some explaining to do” and leave us alone.

Growing up, I felt disappointed that my family was struggling to even have food on the table. I grew up in a poor neighbourhood, but everyone was friendly. I was extremely curious as a kid, and it became a habit of mine to go wandering off on my own. As I grew older, my mother had passed away. As a result, my dad was struggling even more financially. I decided to help, since I had come to the age in doing so. I was quite naive at that age, so I couldn't tell what job was meant for me to practice or not. All I wanted to do was to help my father. I ended up joining a company who open-handedly invited me as a worker once I said I would be interested in doing so. Little did I know, the job was going to be a lot harder then I would expect. We’ve been chasing this mysterious person for weeks now, but I don’t even happen to know who this person is. All I know about this mystery person is that he is extremely dangerous. What was frustrating about this chase is that the person would just disappear right under our eyes the moment we find him. We’ve followed him all the way up to the Galdarra mountains, in his pursuit. It has been a few days since we had seen him. The only traces were a few footprints here and there.The mission was tiring, but I tried to keep my hopes up. As we were walking deeper and deeper into the mountains, a deep, dense and cold fog started to enveloppe me.It was shivering cold and extremely unpleasant. Soon afterwards, we catch a glimpse of him. We continue to follow him up the cliff, as my nausea started to get worse and worse. Shivering as we continued, we finally saw a bridge laying ahead. One of our members started to walk on it, testing it’s stability. Since he could feel a vibration under his feet, we figured the person must have been up ahead on the exact same bridge. We start slowly walking on it, questioning where this would lead us. As I took my first step, I immediately realized it was incredibly shaky. I took a few more steps, the cold fog continuing to enveloppe me. At some point on the bridge, I felt like I was going downwards. I was confused, and realized I wasn’t the only one. Then, it felt like I was walking uphill. “How strange” I thought. After a few more moments, the clouds had begun to clear, along with the fog. We stepped off on a strange island, with pillars and gates as our first view of the strange place. I contemplated this place for a few moments, as I felt as if I knew this place from a certain legend before. Suddenly, I could hear boots stomping behind me. Struck by surprise, I turned around only to see that we were cornered by soldiers. A roaring voice appeared out of nowhere,as it started to approach us. He mentioned something about a city called “EXANDRIA” and I realized that was why it felt so familiar to me. I didn’t listen to the rest, as I recalled the stories my mother used to tell me about this city. I remember saying that I would make sure to visit it one day, and my mother would just smile painfully every time.

â&#x20AC;&#x153;How â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;bout another cup!â&#x20AC;? The loud shouts of the bar hurt my ears. Everyone was shouting, laughing and dancing, it was crowded, a perfect place for a criminal to hide, I think. We all walk around and search for anyone who is possibly suspicious. I look towards the giant sign in the front of the bar. â&#x20AC;&#x153;The Leaky Kegâ&#x20AC;? it says and I get distracted for a second. A loud shout, louder than any other I have heard in my life and then BAM a hooded figure runs out the door. â&#x20AC;&#x153;After himâ&#x20AC;? I hear one of my colleagues shout. Without thinking I take off after him as fast as I can but he is too fast and is already on his horse riding away. Everybody part of our â&#x20AC;&#x153;teamâ&#x20AC;? runs to their horses and hop on. We all gallop onwards by following footprints. A few really strange weeks went by. Each day we got a little bit closer but each day everything got weirder. Finally one day when we spotted his camp leftovers and according to our brainiacs the fire was just put out a few hours ago.We quickly followed his trail onto a bridge. As we move through the bridge it starts moving. Sometimes I feel super tired going up the bridge, other times I feel ready to run freely down the bridge. We all realize this is wrong and suddenly out of the dark we see shadows. I randomly put up a magical shield in front of me hoping to block any dangerous things that come our way. Soon I see a bunch of people coming our way. Everything happens so fast it is a blur. I soon see myself in a castle.

Well when Shannon and Colette had beenÂ hosting a party on their giant yacht, Shannon was feelingÂ queasy. So she stumbled off the deck and went to her room. SheÂ felt the sudden urge to drink water. Narrator(me): You need toÂ remember to always drink clean water but this urge was soÂ horrible, it caused Shannonâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s eyesight to go bad for a moment.Â Then she found a huge â&#x20AC;&#x153;jug of waterâ&#x20AC;?in her room. It either saidÂ WATER or TOXIC WATER. But it didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t matter. Shannon feltÂ better. But when she went for a quick dip on their yacht, ShannonÂ suddenly drowned. She was pulled out of the water. ColetteÂ turned the ship around and QUICKLY drove back to theirÂ mansion. The doctors could not save her. Before Colette mightÂ have to say bye bye to Shannon, she asked what Shannon drank.Â She told her about the water jug in her room. Then ColetteÂ screamed â&#x20AC;&#x153;thatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s not water! Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s the most TOXIC water in theÂ world!!!!!â&#x20AC;?. Narrator: Heh, why would someone have the mostÂ deadly,toxic,and dangerous water on their yacht?!?! Â Â Colette found a shady dealer that could save Shannonâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s life, aÂ potion. But he said there would be two bad/good side effects. ItÂ didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t matter to save Shannonâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s life. IT HEALED SHANNON!!!!!!!!Â

Shannon thought â&#x20AC;&#x153;hey i haveÂ wings and magic, why not go on another mission, while these areÂ still here. â&#x20AC;?So onward she went.Â Â Â

Turnip

LEON’S

CHARACTER

Turnip is a small Turnip who was magically created to help people in need. He adores cooking and also loves adventures, he also learned magic being able to cast a number of spells and is a great fighter. Recently he joined a mystery solving group of adventures and that's how he fulfilled his urge to explore. Lately they were given a mission to track down this mysterious figure and bring him back, that's all the information they gave us and sent us away to do it. One time we nearly got him by trapping him in a tavern but somehow he dissapeared right when he was at our fingertips, we’ve been following him since and haven't had any luck catching him. We tracked him down to the Galdera mountain range but we knew he was still a couple hours ahead. One day we came across a campsite that was left by someone, I assumed he was the one we were chasing, the fire was put out only minutes

before so everyone knew we were close. We started to climb the mountain as the trail was going upwards, after a while of climbing a looked over the edge of the mountain noticed it was a long way down but also it was a pretty good view of only it was less cold I would come here more often. Soon we saw the figure again but he was soon eaten by mist and fog and we lost sight of him again, once I stepped in the fog it was freezing and cold I thought “ we must be in a cloud because why would fog be this high” and I was right, we came across a bridge that lead off the mountains and into the unknown. We knew we had to cross it because the trail ended with this bridge, so one by one we crossed it. After a while we finally saw something in the distance, it looked like it was floating somehow, finally we crossed the bridge and reached the other side, but it was filled with people shopping, selling sewing, making and fighting. We came across someone and

asked him where we were and he replied with “ you are in Axandria my good fellow”, I realized we were in the lost city of Axandria. We went towards a large building with a long line up so we figured it was where the king or someone important was, on the way we all saw a beautiful river that flowed throughout the city and I finally noticed a waterfall falling from the city to the water. Once we got to the front of the line we saw the King. The King's name was King Soong, and next to him was a tough looking bodyguard and a mystic looking witch. Right when we were going to ask something someone in the crowd pulled out a blue glowing orb and threw it, once it hit the ground it exploded sending big icy chunks of snow at us and freezing everyone, the witch at the Kings side swiftly did a huge protection spell protecting us from the ice. Then the witch cut a door in the shield to let the king's bodyguard out and he walked through the

pill of frozen bodys until he got to the figure who threw the ice bomb thingy, then he brutally smashed its frozen head of his body. Then he walked back in and kissed the king on the LIPS(why, just why ;-;). Then the witch let the shield go and all the ice fell on the frozen mess of bodys stuck to the floor. THAT'S ALL I GUESS PlEAse sAY ThAT's aLl

Luke We have to track him down. I am recording yet another diary for we are supposed to record down the events of what we are doing. So here goes nothing. Hello my name is Ariyes. Ariyes Eden. I am a wood elf and have left my family from the woods to go adventure and to capture down a vicious criminal. I need to practice using magic because I can’t quite harness the force. It all started weeks ago when we started the tedious journey of catching a shadow. Skip ahead until yesterday. We had been tracking down this criminal to a site and the coals had been warm. We knew he was close. We searched around trying to find the shadow and we searched around and might've caught a glimpse of him. We rushed towards the bridge and it looked a tiny bit unstable. Nevertheless, we all ventured safely across the bridge. It went higher and higher and we reached a floating city? Rumored to exist, this city was the great Exandria. We climbed up and spotted the shadow and it disappeared. Some guards spotted us and made an arrest. We walked into the city in custody. We met the king and bowed before him. Just then the city was attacked. A mysterious figure leaped towards the king and protected him. Everything went black and I passed out not remembering much. That’s all I can recall and I know it isn’t fully detailed but that’s all I can muster.

\Name: Nathan Character name: Brody Seck aka Soundier the Ravager We were called up the day while I was in the woods, ravaging through trees to get to a vegetable construct who tried to shoot me with a G-18. I chased him for about 15 minutes until one of our messengers named Jack called me. He said “Hey! Get back here and turn back into a human. We don’t want others to know your powers,” I turned back into a human. “We have a mission for you. You are to chase a man with your team. We last sighted him in the Peaky Mountain Range. Go there as quickly as you can, then use clues and hints to track him down. He is extremely dangerous. Don’t use our claws or bite immediately,” I knew what he was talking about. I am a lycanthrope, which means that I’m a werewolf that can control when he/she turns into a wolf. I wanted to keep chasing the vegetable guy, and maybe eat him, but why not give up the chase for another chase for big money while the other is a turnip. I met my team in the planning room. They told us to go to Brixton, in the Leaky Keg. We traveled there by magic carpet. It felt pretty weird, since I was usually used to running, and I never took magical transportation, because I feel it would ruin my reputation. We got to the Leaky Keg, and I ordered a Snake Bite, which by the way, makes you rEaLlY dRuNk. We drank a little, played some cards, until we saw a shadow in the corner with a cloak on. It was really weird. We subtly walked towards him, and when we finally got there, we asked to play cards with him. “He doesn’t know we’re hunting him. Why not?” I thought as we dealt the cards. Suddenly, one of my team members pulled out a glock. “Who are you? What are you doing here?”, he yelled. “Not so subtle anymore,” I sighed. We had to fight now. But then, suddenly, he disappeared in a cloud of smoke! How is that even possible? We consulted each other, and then we headed outside the Keg. Only 2 ways to go; east or west. We chose east. Luckily, we were correct, and we found some clues along the way. Footsteps here, and a piece of meat there. We followed for weeks and weeks until we came upon a fire that some of our experts suspect is only hours old. We went onto the Galdarra mountains, which is frighteningly high. Some of us got sick and threw up, and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of our vomit hit some primitive village man. We crossed the bridge into the clouds! Then, we realized we were floating! Weird, right? Then, we got to a city, and then got arrested by Roen…...Then, we were brought to the king. We talked a bit about our arrest, then someone threw a blue something, and everything froze. Then, the woman cast a shield. It looked like an assasination attempt. We then realized that Roen was the King’s husband.

The Chase Hannah Wu

“Come on, Arkayna!” Arkayna Celeste Goldenbrook woke up in the

morning, to a bright sun and a lush green forest. Ugh! What time is it? She sat up, rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, and looked around. Her group mates, the Keepers of the Lost Cities, were down below, sitting there, eating breakfast. She groaned. Arkayna was definitely not a morning person. She sat up and perched on the tree she had slept in. Swiftly and silently, she jumped off of the tree, did an elegant backflip, and gracefully landed on one of the benches around the campfire. “What?” she said to her group mates while attempting to smooth her golden-blond braid down. “We’re moving again.” someone replied from somewhere around her. “Seriously? It’s been days since we last saw that guy.” Even though Arkayna was a new member in the adventurer’s group, she knew more than anyone around her. She was charming and polite, and also had the ability to wither anyone who made her mad with a single glare. Arkayna remembered the bitter moment from what seemed like years ago. The Keepers of the Lost Cities had been paid a large sum of money to catch a shadowy figure. Before they had left, Arkayna had managed to charm their employer for details. All he had told her was that the person they were chasing was a very, very dangerous criminal. They were at The Leaky Keg, a tavern in a town called Brixon. They had just managed to corner him or her when it seemed like the shadow started to fade away. Within moments, he, or she, was gone. Even the scholars in the group didn’t understand how it was possible. After that, they had been chasing him/her for weeks. Arkayna is an extremely impatient person, and even as a shapeshifter, she still gets bored really easily. The Keepers of the Lost Cities all walked around, trying to find any sign of the shadowy figure. Due to the fact that Arkayna had become bored within the first 10 minutes, she had decided to climb from tree to tree. When one of the group members mentioned that doing this wasn’t such a good idea, she shot him a single glare, silencing him instantly. In seconds, Arkayna had jumped up to a large birch tree and skillfully leaped to another. “Arkayna!” someone whisper-shouted from below. They had reached a passage of

mountains. From the trees, Arkayna could see a shadow, hidden in the thick mist on a long bridge that looked like it went on forever. Arkayna could barely even see the other end. In fact, they were so high that Arkayna was walking through the clouds. One of the scholars reported that these were the Galdarra mountains. “Hey!” Arkayna shouted. “There’s somebody on the bridge!” Everyone turned around to see the figure they had been chasing for weeks. They all ran to the bridge, slowing down when they started to climb it. As a shapeshifter, Arkayna transformed into a bird and flew at her companions’ speed. She noticed that the bridge seemed to tilt up and down. What the heck? D ue to her distraction, she transformed back into her normal form, an angel, and gently landed on the bridge. However, after a minute or two, Arkayna felt sick to her stomach. Arkayna had motion sickness ever since she went on a boat when she was 6 years old. Ugh. I feel like I’m going to throw up… Suddenly, the bridge lurched, along with Arkayna’s stomach. When Arkayna had finally worked up the energy to look up, she saw that the shadowed figure was gone. Seriously?! We came all this way for nothing?! The bridge swayed as Arkayna started hearing footsteps. Even when the group froze the bridge continued wobbling. O h god, I’m going to be sick. Arkayna was clutching her stomach when she realized that the bridge had stopped moving, and it sounded like her group mates were holding their breath. She glanced up. Her group was surrounded by what looked like an army. At the front, there was a regal looking man who seemed to be in charge. He said something that Arkayna couldn’t hear, due to her brain trying to control her sickness rising up to her mouth. After a few seconds, the Keepers of the Lost Cities were walking toward the other end of the bridge. UGH! Why does luck hate me? They walked in silence towards… W ait a minute what?! Arkayna’s motion sickness died away as her jaw dropped open. The other end of the bridge was… a floating city? Y ou know, when I signed up for this for “some adventure in my life”, I didn’t expect this. T he army pushed them forward toward the city with the leader in front of them. Wait… isn’t this… Exandria?! Exandria was a city from an old, mythical story her family had told her when she was a young child. Each and every generation had a different way to tell the story. And as the youngest, she got to hear them all from her parents, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and so on. Her great,

great-grandparents on the other hand told her that they had actually been to the legendary city. She had been told hundreds of thousands of stories featuring the floating city in the sky, and almost all of them had details in this city. When they had finally reached the other end, Arkayna leaned down and kissed the solid ground. Oh solid land! Everyone - including her group mates - looked at her as though she was crazy. Even though they were “under arrest”, Arkayna looked and acted like a tourist. She wished she had packed a camera in her backpack.The city made her home - which was basically a castle - look like an old, muddy shack. Whoa! This place is amazing!!! Everything around her was gleaming and brilliant. As she looked around herself, Arkayna noticed that people were staring at them as though they were the strangest thing they ever saw. She smiled and waved, being the polite girl she is. Instead of waving back, they backed up away from her. Gee, rude much? Arkayna wasn’t exactly very used to this. In her city, her family were the royals. Plus, her family knew everyone around. Everyone was staring at them as though they had never seen anyone new around. Huh. That’s weird… Her jaw dropped open as they stopped in front of an enormous citadel. Whoa!!! The leader walked toward the gate. The guards immediately recognized him and let them enter. As Arkayna was passing by one of the gate guards, the gate guard shot her a look that seemed to say “Don’t you dare try anything or you’ll regret it.” In return, Arkayna shot him a withering glare. The poor man shrunk under the intenseness of her glare. Arkayna flicked her braid over her shoulder and strided in. She didn’t seem the slightest bit intimidated. Arkayna noticed that the throne had a humongous line in front of it. P robably waiting to talk to the king. Instead of getting in the line, like Arkayna thought they would be doing, they started walking toward the throne, along with her group mates. Arkayna, on the other hand, simply looked around, letting her photographic memory absorb her surroundings. One of the guards sighed and, unexpectedly, picked Arkayna up by her arms and carried her to the throne. E xcuse me?! This is no way to treat a girl! I know that I joined this group because I was bored, but still. We should be paid more than this! The guard dropped Arkayna in front of the throne. “Ow!” she yelled. “What the flipping heck?!” The guard sighed again and rolled his eyes. “Geez, calm down, woman.” Arkayna lost her temper,

but managed to control her shapeshifting. Yet, her eyes flashed red as she stalked up to the guard and, even though she was only up to his chest, grabbed his jaw and yelled “Never tell a ‘woman’ to calm down. You hear me?” right in his face. “Yes ma’am!” he said, sounding more like a mouse than a 6 or 7 foot tall man. She took a breath, calming herself down. She let go of his jaw, which now had fingermarks printed across it. She smiled innocently, flashing her perfect teeth, and skipped toward her group members. There we go. When she reached her group, everyone was staring at her as though she was crazy. As she looked up at the throne, the king was also staring at her. The only person who didn’t seem surprised was a pretty, Elvin woman standing beside the king. He cleared his throat before saying “I’m King Soong, king of Exandria. State your purpose here, or face the consequences.” The Keepers of the Lost Cities pushed Arkayna forward. W hy me? “Hello sir. My name is Arkayna Celeste Goldenbrook, princess of Aurelie.” “And what is a princess doing in this brigade?” King Soong asked. She shrugged. “I was bored.” King Soong gave her a strange look and said “And what is your group doing in the kingdom of Exandria?” Arkayna started explaining how they had got here and why they were chasing the strange man. King Soong hesitated. “Did you see this ‘shady figure’, Roen?” he said to the leader of the guards. “No sir, we only found these people-” Just before Roen could finish his sentence, Arkayna shrieked “There he is!” The shady figure was standing in the crowd, holding a bottle with a glowing, blue sphere inside of it. The figure threw the bottle toward the king. The Elvin woman, who turned out to be a sorceress, put her hands up and made a forcefield around herself, the king, Roen, and the Keepers of the Lost Cities. Arkayna held her breath as the bottle shattered and ice leaked out, making large walls of ice. Somehow, the figure wasn’t affected. The woman put down her hands and the forcefield went down. Roen jumped through the ice and cut off the figure’s head using his sword. Arkayna was terrified of dead things and felt nauseous as Roen leaped back through the ice. The Elvin woman put the forcefield back up. Roen walked up to King Soong and kissed him. Ew!!! Pardon me, but there are some people who wish to not see this. They murmured to each other for a minute and then King Soong turned back to face them. “It looks like you have some explaining to do.” he said. Whelp. This is not going to end well.

Rowan glars at snow when he said he knew some people. He told us we can adventure in the mines and it’s rumored to be hunted. We follow a taller elvish man who is our guide. He got puffy clothes. He has a guitar.It was gideon. A man came toward us. He was on drugs. We fell off the edge of the bridge and fell in the river. We are trying to save him. I see him and I swim pretty quick. I almost got him. The man is carried over the waterfall. Hannah and snow survive. Leon falls over the edge of the waterfalls and drowns. We go to the marketplace. There are 2 wealthy people and look at us. They walk into a sauna. Gideon tells us that rude people are in the sauna. There seems to be an argument. Someone smashed the glass Nathan was carrying.Nathan We went into the bar. It was very busy. A person named Corrine was there. Corrine asked us what can he get us? He gives us some ice and drinks. There is a massive explosion outside. We go outside and there is a giant hole. There are 3 people in the crater, each wearing a purple band. We go to that bank which exploded and we help gideon. Hannah goes in and turns into a water spirit. Hannah figures that the bank is being robbed. Judy blasts a man robbing. People fire arrows at hannah and take 2 harm. Snow starts punching man. Gideon gets stabbed.Jayden casted a water ball. Hannah becomes a centaur and says LEBRON JAMES. Snow chases the bandits. The bank collapses. Nathan deals pretty fine and takes only 1 harm. Gideon is injured. Jayden changes into a dragon and gets shot at. None of the arrows do damage. Roean came and we say the bank got robbed. I follow snow. The thieves hear us and We go to a dark cave. We hear an explosion and the tower catches fire. Snow punches the wall. I analyze the situation.Christina uses magic and she finds out that it’s a magic barrier. Nathan sees a series of rooms. Eliana finds that the rooms are a code. The king soogn and mexlina? Go down and with rowan, have a talk. A bell rings and everything starts to vibrate. A massive energy ball erupts from the center of the island. We feel the kingdom start to fall and everything goes black. We feel light and we wake up. We see a ;large ice wall. The outline of the shadow disappears. Rowan said well you have a lot of explaining to do.

We’ve been chasing him for weeks, through Forests, through roads and now, a mountain. Someone asked a civilian and he told us the guy was dangerous. We feel we are getting closer. We found a fire and it was out a few hours ago. We got higher in the mountains and it got colder. We saw him and he disappeared through a fall. We dismount from a horse and we go on foot to follow him. We walk through a mist and it’s very cold. Eric is in front and he realises that there can be a cliff and we see 2 wood pegs. There is a rope on the wood and Luke goes on first and he feels a vibration and he feels that someone else is on it. We got on the bridge. We feel like on the bridge we feel we go down and up. It’s like we are on a hill. We see a large ship on us. The ofg starts to clear because we used magic. The person we chased went to a gateway. We see a cliff. We also see stone walls.We progress to a figure and he turns. We look down and see a town. We don't see a cliff on a mountain. We feel like we’re on a ship. We feel that we might be moving down and up. We get arrested. We are in the city of exandria. We’ve heard of it and it is miles above the land and also a floating city. We are led up a staircase to a castle. We went to a throne room and there were guards and a king. Beside him was an elvish woman and obviously the queen. She is a mage sensed by our mages. The king asked us and I answered. Rowan said no one else came in. Celina sees something weird in the crowd. Christina also notices it and we see a hooded figure that turned his head when he saw that we noticed. We see a glass jar moving through the crowd and it explodes and shards of ice strats flying at us. The queen puts up a forcefield and we get saved from the jar and ice shards. The king yelled and a rowan smashed the ice wall. We can't see through the ice and rowan shouts. We see everyone in the room frozen. Rowan charges towards the man and cuts his head off. The king kisses rowan. The king told us that we have a lot to explain.

The Chase Character Info Class: Mage Species: Pikachu Health: 6 Name: Eric Ren We’ve been chasing this guy for weeks now. Hey there, I’m Eric and I'm sick of this guy. We’ve been informed that this guy is a dangerous guy and we have to capture him at all costs. We first met him at a tavern. He was very casual until one of us recognised him. It was him. We’ve been behind him for so long, but there are signs that he went this way. Campfires, footprints and today, a campfire that was just a few hours old. That means that we’re close. A few days later, and were on a mountain. I don’t know where we're going, but were about to find out. My friend spotted a very small black dot in the snow and it seemed to be heading north-east. We have seemed to run into a problem. We’re stuck on a bridge with no clue where the bridge leads us. I think it’s going to another mountain peak but no bridge can do that, right? It Seems like the bridge is moving up and down, but how’s that possible? Could the thing on the other end of this bridge be moving upside down? Because I don’t think that’s possible. Turns out, I was wrong. On the other side of the bridge, there stands the land of Alexandria.

We were shocked because we thought the land was just a myth. Turns out, the place is a real-deal. If you don’t know what’s Axandria, then listen. Axandria is a floating city. Kind of like Atlantis but in the sky. The story’s usually told by our parents and that there’s a mystical city floating above land. Explorers have been searching for years but they found no sight of the place, until now. We entered the floating city with caution. But unlucky for us, we weren’t recognised so we had to speak to the king. One of us told the king the reason we were here. He seemed to believe us, but something unexpected happened. The hooded figure we were chasing was here. He threw a tiny ice ball in the room and things turned cold. It turns out that he threw a piece of magic and freezed the room. One of the loyal mages threw a magical barrier to protect us. But, unlucky for the other people in the room, they froze. One of the loyal nights saw the hooded figure and smashed through the barrier. He charged at the figure and… off his head went.

And then he drifted down the waterfall, motionless. The thought repeats over and over, never leaving my mind as I lie in the empty cave. But you might be asking, why am in a deserted cave? Currently, me and some other crew members are stranded in a cave, banging rocks against a solid wall. I am taking my time to write now as the present situation won’t be fixed in the next while. This is going to be a long one, so brace yourselves. So, when we left we were in the throne room. As Hannah tried to explain, Vex’alia was gliding across the room,deep in thought. Hannah reached the part at the Leaky Keg, where we cornered him and were able to catch a glimpse of his looks. “All of a sudden, he vanished into th-” “Did he look anything like this?” Vex'alia asked, unmasking the shadow. “Actually, yes.” Hannah answered. “Then it appears you were connected to this. Please, take a seat.” Vex’alia started pacing once more, the king motioning her to calm down. “It’s just… this whole situation seems too odd,” The sorceress admitted. She came towards our group, and it’s as if a golden string passed through us. “Tell me, Are you in league with the assassin?” She questioned carefully. Most of us said no, the truth, and those who lied immediately spit out the real answer. She proceeded to ask a series of questions, and then finally released the charm and let us go. “ Perhaps they are the ones we’ve been waiting for. I suppose we should give them a chance,”

the king remarked. They exchanged a brief conversation, ending with the king saying “Summon him.” He then turned to us, and said, “ Because your plan… backfired, we’d like to offer you a job here in Exandria. It’s very nice, trust me, and I know there will be an odd job that attracts you. Laterly, some people have plagued the city. If you catch them, we can give you a cash reward.” For me, it seems dull. The extra money may be good, but I’m a sucker for any adventure. The king continued, “There is also a mysterious mage running around town, and it has brought concern to our people. Finding this person is also quite a valuable thing. If you are up for something more relaxing, a market job would be just fine. I have prepared a guard for you that will show you around.” He seemed to pause, as if he was done. “ Oh, and one more thing. I suppose you could venture off into the mines for something more interesting. They run underneath our city and are neglected - people seem to think they are haunted.” As soon as he said this, I knew this was the right job for me. The rest of the crew seemed to like this too, some nodding and glancing at each other. Finishing off the speech, the king stated, “I have prepared a guard from you, and he is currently waiting outside the-” A voice emerged from the hallway. “ Gideeonnnnnn,” He sings, strumming his guitar. “ Issss heeeeeeeeeeeere!” Gideon, I believe, reclines his guitar and sings to us, dramatically, “Greetings and salutations, people from a distant landddddd!” Roen says, “Gideon, I believe that is enough. “ Turning to us, he says, “Anyway, this man will be escorting you to the town. He is in charge of most entertainment here, and knows this place quite well.” “That… Is… Correctttt!” Gideon strums, on a high

note. Let’s just say, this dude was quite, well weird. First impressions aren’t the best. Roen beckoned us outside, and added “ Please excuse his grammar. He isn’t the most intellectual person around here.” Gideon says, “ Yes young fellows. Now that you know me can say… '' More betterrrr!” More singing. Great. We follow him down the path, back to the bridge. As Gideon hums a mellow tune, we see somebody walk towards us and join in with the singing. “ Ahh! Fiddle dee dee it is!” He said, clearly drunk. He lost his balance, and fell straight off the bridge. “Run, run , let’s go!” the vegetable construct yelled from the bridge. A group of us decided to go along, while the others stayed on land. We dove in, some experiencing better luck than others. I manage to keep my balance as the current swooshed past me. Ahead of me, I can see two of the others barely managing to cling to the trees, breathing rapidly. One of our teammates attempted to reach for the man, but he missed and he fell, straight into the void. Horror flickered through our eyes, but little did we know something else would happen at this moment to shock us all. The vegetable construct lay ahead , fighting the current, trying to stay stable. But it wasn’t enough. In his last push against the rapids, they overtook him, and he fell, all the way down the waterfall. Horrified, Gideon called us in and asked, “Well, does anybody want to say something?” Nobody spoke, and we continued back on to land, as water dripped down our clothes. We arrived at the market, and wandered the streets. To our left, there was a hut that had smoke bubbled around it. Apparently, it was a spa for the wealthy. Further down the road, a bar awaited. A figure was thrown out the door, the owner exclaiming, “Stay out!” and shutting the door behind him. We wanted to save up for a

funeral, so a couple of us tried some things, but it didn’t really work. We stopped at an outside store, named “The Fox and the Flagon” and ordered some food for a quick break. Chewing in silence, the crew started off again, walking deeper down the road. Suddenly, a shout erupted from the distance, immediately following a massive explosion. “Boom!” It rumbled through the ground, and we rushed back to see what was happening. The problem started in a building, titled Exandrian Trust. We had gathered that it was a bank, with a large crater surfacing on the doorstep. Three withering people wearing purple masks circled the building, Gideon trapped inside the bank. Several crewmates volunteered to go in, but I decided to stay out as it has been quite a hectic day. We look through the bank windows, watching as Nathan and Luke spark a fight amongst the robbers, punching and kicking. Hannah shapeshifted to a water dragon, attempting to put out some of the fire. We could tell that various charms were being performed from the window, as trails of magic dust were left behind. Then, the roof started to collapse . Shouts emerged from the building, people screaming and fleeing as far as possible. Our inside crew worked on getting Gideon safely out while holding on to the roof. But it doesn’t work, and Gideon was lost in the rubble. Then, the robbers tried to flee, and I found myself running after them. A small group of us chased the purple masks down to a dirt pat, where they made a right and walked into a cave. Sprinting, we make it just in time to see that they went through a crack in the wall, gone. This is what we are doing right now. We

know that the wall is a barrier, and there is some sort of code. You could tell we have partially given up, some throwing rocks and others leaning against the walls. Pause. What's happening up there? I can hear a bell, ringing back and forth, and all seems to be silent. I hope my other crew members will be okay, stuck on land. The roof- the roof is shaking! Inside I am shaking, as everything seems to freeze. I feel so tired… I want to faint… help- What? How am I awake, I could have sworn I died a minute ago… Wait. This place seems familiar. It’s the throne room, where we first arrived. People are everywhere, just like before. All of my teammates are confused, going through the same thought process. And the king says, once again, “You have some explaining to do.”

With a big blast of water itÂ stopped, she also heard a robber trying to kill her so with a blastÂ of water, sent him running. But then hid in a cave and ate sugar.Â But right when she was going to have another bite, she heardÂ Hannah moaning and lying very injured on the ground, soÂ Shannon decided to heal her.Â Â

Jayden A bright flash, flashes in front of my eyes as I see the exact same castle I see before. I quickly get up to find the king arranging a guide for us. I look around and hear a familiar noise. â&#x20AC;&#x153;NEVER FEAR GIDEON IS HERE!!!!!!!â&#x20AC;? I silently groan as I hear the sound of his music. I quickly get up and follow him onto the bridge to cross a river. Snow quickly turns around and delivers a punch right in Gideon's face. He falls down and half of our team hops into the river to save him. Leon quickly gets washed down the waterfall. As our team recovers we move into the market and see a big bank robbery. We jumped in and interfered but they quickly ran away and ran through a wall.

So after the failed assasination attempt the king walked up to us and said “so you now have some explaining to do”, so we explained that we were chasing down a mysterious figure and that he led us across the bridge and onto this majestic floating city. He said “strange because the bridge only appears to people who are invited” so that means you could live here now that the person you were chasing has been slain, I could find some jobs and things here I'll let Gideon show you around. We all turned around to see a ugly,disgusting,garbage,piece of dung,looking person with a small,ignorent,fat,ugly,stupid guitar looking thing in his dumb,irresponsible,foolish hands. He started to sing a loud, annoying,dumb,useless song and started to walk around the city, after a while a

drunk looking fellow walked over to Gideon and started to horribly sing along. We crossed a bridge over a river when the drunk person swayed to the right and fell over the bridge and into the water. Me and a couple others quickly jumped into the river to save him but the second I plunged into the river I then instantly realized that the river current was really strong and really hard to swim against but I still swam on towards the fallen man. When I turned around I saw the people who also dove in to help the guy give up and try to save themselves by grabbing a tree or climbing on the shore but when I realized I was seconds before falling down with the rest of the flowing water I knew it was too late to save myself. (this is a sad part if you take a moment to think about it) I was falling and catching speed fast, knowing my death was near I quickly strung

together some words and as my last words I thought “Tomorrow I shall no longer be here”. I passed the clouds and moments before reaching the ground I took a final look at the world around me and said “Life and the world as we know is a beautiful place but what is a beginning without an end”. Then I opened my eyes and looked around and saw thousands and thousands of memories in my life. I saw the time I first learned how to cook an egg omelet, the time I learned the water spell, the friends I met throughout my life, and many others. I looked around a bit more and saw a whole entire area that was just empty and dark, I could feel the cold and chilling feeling coming from it, the feeling that made me feel gone, stuck in my memories of the life I would never be able to get back to and the life I wasn't able to finish, then suddenly I felt warmth. I turned to look at the empty cold wall and saw a small line of light that radiated warmth and hope, the light beat down all the dark and depressing thoughts I had going through my head and gave me

the feeling that there was still more left of my life to live, then the small line of light slowly opened up and became a doorway that shined so bright it lit up even the darkest moments of my life. I was tempted to just walk right through but didn't know where it lead and what it even was but then I saw myself, I saw myself as if it were a mirror, it walked up to me and said “ do it, there waiting for you, it's not over yet” then it disappeared, I walked towards the light staring at the what seemed like endless brightness until I finally got there and stepped through. I opened my eyes again to see myself and the rest of the group lying unconscious on the ground, then I realized that someone must have turned back time or something because it was impossible for me to be back alive but it wasn't fake, I was alive once more. In my mind I thought “aw s**t here we go again”. ==========================================

Luke At this point I am still confused. My memories are a bit foggy and everything is strange but hereâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s what I can recall. We launch into the story. I just awoke from unconsciousness and I was told that we needed to follow a guide who went by the name of Gideon. He played music and made people dance. One of them was drunk and started dancing right off a cliff. He reminded me of my brother Jeffrick. He spent way too much money on whiskey every week. Some of us jumped down the cliff hoping to save this creature. Thankfully there was water below. Somehow though. One of our crewmates panicked and forgot how to swim. He fell into the void with the man that we were trying to save. Fazed, we went to a spa and soon left. We heard an alarm and a bank heist started. We ran to help attack and help the thieves. Barely getting out alive, Ro en ran to us. Telling us how we ruined everything today the mage tower crumpled down to shreds. The ice walls crashed down and just as we thought all was lost we all teleported to the throne room. We looked at each other confused and quickly scribbled down some notes. I need to get to the bottom of this now.

Nathan We talked to King Soong for a bit, and then, he introduced us to Vex’alia, the sorcerer who saved the king. He then introduced us to Gideon, who was the bard who would give us a tour. He sang very weirdly. We traveled along to the marketplace, and along the way, on a bridge, we met a man who danced along the Gideon’s “music”, but then fell off the bridge into the water below. Some of us tried to help, but that just got Leon killed, and Hosun ALMOST, and I’m saying ALMOST reached the man, but unfortunately, failed. There was also this snooty spa place, which I hated. We then went to the Fox and Flagon bar, where I ordered a mulled mead. Suddenly, we heard an alarm, and something that sounded like a bomb. We went out of the bar, and saw purple-mask bandits. They were trying to steal the gold! We tried to help, and once again, got killed in the process. Next thing I know, I see a mysterious barrier in the Mage Tower. Then, Axandria started falling………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..……………….. ………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..……… ………..………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..………………. .………………..………………..………………..………………..………………..until I woke up in the Throne Room. WHAT??????

The First Loop Hannah Wu

W ait a minute, he thinks that we had something to do with this?! The closest thing I’ve done compared to this was the time I hid toad spawn in my siblings’ beds… Walls of ice were caving around herself , the Keepers of the Lost Cities, King Soong, the king’s husband, and the sorceress who had just saved their lives. There was an awkward silence for a moment. “Well?” the king said. “Aren’t you going to explain?” Arkayna’s group members whisper-shouted at her to explain, due to the fact that she was especially charming. “Um… hi?” She could practically hear one of her group mates face-palm. “Well, we already told you why we’re here…” The sorceress murmured something to King Soong. She waved her hands, casting a triangle-like spell towards them. Arkayna, who had studied magic for basically her entire life, noticed that the lady sorceress was very powerful. VERY powerful. (And that says a lot considering the fact that Arkayna’s a shapeshifter, an elemental, and has the gift of Inheritance.) She felt the spell almost sink through her skin. It felt all tingly and warm to her. “Well,” the sorceress said. “Did you have anything to do with this?” she said, waving her arm at the ice walls. Immediately, Arkayna willingly told the truth. “No ma’am.” However, a few of the members of the group looked as though they wanted to say yes, but instead, their mouths expelled a strangled “No.” Arkayna blinked in shock. W as that a truth spell? The sorceress and the king whispered to each other for a minute. When they turned back, the king sighed. “You seem like a very… interesting group. In fact, we may even require some help from you.” Really? “Vex'ahlia, please undo your spell.” Vex'ahlia flicked her wrist, making the warm tingles fade away. Aw… that felt really good. “We’ll get you a tour of Exandria, though hopefully you’ll behave.” Great. He’s suspicious. Arkayna heard a strum of a lute. “Greetings and salutations!” someone sang from behind them. Arkayna whipped around. “I bring good tidings and vibrations!” a man carrying the lute continued singing. “This is Gideon, your guide.” King Soong said, gesturing to Gideon. “Follow me!” Gideon sang. On the way out, Gideon kept repeatedly singing a tune. “Ly dy di dy dy dy di di!” Arkayna sent a withering glare at him. However, Gideon

didn’t seem to notice, and continued skipping and strumming his lute. Whelp. I didn’t want an idiot on my list of baggage. T he group and Gideon continued walking along. Arkayna’s frustration with their tour guide melted away. They were standing on a wooden bridge, above a marvelous river. “Wow!” she murmured to herself. As she was walking, she slowly spun around to take in the view. However, while she was turning, she noticed an old man, who was stumbling around near the other end of the bridge. He heard Gideon’s music and started dancing along with it, singing the tune. Oh no. He must be drunk- B efore Arkayna could finish her thought, the man stumbled and fell off the bridge. Oh my! S he dove off the bridge, trying to save him. She could hear the splashes of water around her as her group mates dove in after her. Arkayna suddenly realized that there was more to the river than she expected. There was a very, very strong current, pulling them towards… “There’s a waterfall?!” she shrieked. Thankfully, as an elemental, she drew strength from the water and grabbed onto a large tree branch as she passed by. She gasped for breath as she hoisted herself out of the water. Arkayna heard her group members pull themselves out too. As Arkayna coughed out water, she suddenly remembered that they still hadn’t saved the drunk man! She turned around to see the man and the turnip guy in her group go over the falls. She stared at the waterfall, leaving a moment of silence in memory of the turnip. As Arkayna climbed back up to the other end of the bridge, she noted that Gideon looked shocked, horrified, and nauseous. As Arkayna, the remaining Keepers of the Lost Cities, and Gideon walked into the marketplace, Arkayna once again noticed that people were still surprised that there were newcomers. Geez. What’s up with these people? G ideon waved his hands around. “Welcome to the town! First stop, the spa, or as I call it, the Snooty Spa.” he said, jerking his thumb at the building next to them. Phft. I could get in there within minutes. After all, Mother packed me a bag of gold coins from the treasury. L ater on in the tour, they ended up at a bar called ‘Fox and Flagon’. Hm! I bet this place doesn’t even have a decent chef. Striding into the bar, Arkayna watched as a barmaid seated them at a table. S eriously? All of these options are either alcoholic or absolutely disgusting! The only thing that she could actually put in her mouth was the bowl full of sugar on the table. Meh. I’ve had better.

As Arkayna was finishing up her bowl of sugar, she started hearing some sort of an alarm. She dashed outside. A waft of smoke came from what looked like a bank. O h my goodness! T he Keepers of the Lost Cities ran toward the bank just in time to see a group of people wearing purple bandanas. Arkayna channeled the magic deep inside of her veins and shapeshifted into an enormous, fire-breathing dragon. She roared with delight. A brigade of the knights she had seen earlier in the day arrived at the scene, shocked to see a massive dragon, attempting to find the bandits. They raised their bows and arrows and fired. Ow! Hey, I’m one of the good guys! S he felt a small pain near her stomach, where one of the arrows had hit. Oh… they think that I’m going to kill them… Rechanneling her magic, she tried to think of something to turn into. However, by the time she had started to think of a thunderbird, a bird that could cause storms, she had transformed into a centaur. O h come on! The guards looked at her, confused. The other people in the group had managed to chase the bandits off, but half the group followed them. The other half was busy putting out the fire. Arkayna turned back into her original form, an angel, and used her magic to help. As she was doing this, however, she heard a crackling sound. She turned her head just in time to see one of the supports holding the bank up had started cracking. O h god. The crack spread from the support all the way to the top of the ceiling. The ceiling started falling down! Gah! Everyone attempted to dive out of the way. Thankfully, nobody died. Arkayna panted with exhaust. Just as she started to relax, however, a bright beam of purple light shot up out of the ground. What the… She suddenly felt a falling sensation… the kingdom of Exandria was falling to the ground! She tried to flap her wings, but it was no use. Arkayna squeezed her eyes shut. Goodbye world. After that, everything went black. Arkayna groaned. A bright light had caught her eye. She sat up. What happened? All of her memories came flooding back. The bright light. The fall of Exandria. Her death. How am I still alive?! S he looked around. She was back in the throne room! “Well,” a voice said from near them. “It looks like you have a lot of explaining to do.” continued King Soong. What the heck?!

The Mage's Tower

HI, IT’S ME AGAIN, TODAY WAS YET ANOTHER ADVENTURE. WE NOTICED THAT WE WERE IN A BIG LOOP, SO BASICALLY EVERY TIME YOU DIE FOR WHATEVER WEIRD REASON YOU SPAWN BACK INTO THE THRONE ROOM WHERE WE FIRST STARTED. WE FOUND OUT THAT THE KINGDOM COULD FALL APART SOMEHOW.SOME OF US ALSO PUSHED GIDEON DOWN THE RIVER THEN SOME OF US DECIDED TO SAVE HIM. THATS IT FOR NOW… -CELINA

The Mage’s Tower Christina Ye

Ugh. Why were we here again?! It’s like playing a game of spot the difference. Every time we took a loop, something different happened. This time, the shadow was gone, and everybody was revived. We go through the exact same process: Gideon’s dramatic entrance, then following him down to the river. This time, some of us decided to puch Gideon, and he fell into the river. I dove in with some of the others, barely making it back to shore. Gideon managed to be kept afloat, except him and the others were stuck in the water, fighting against the current. Using magic, Eric managed to freeze a strip of the water so that they could hold on to it as a railing. That didn’t work for long, though. The ice was starting to crack, and we were in desperate need for a new plan. Celina pulled the ice railing over, and all was well. When we finished choosing where to go, we decided to go to the Mage’s tower. Our crew lined up in a single file line and walked towards the marketplace, where we would find the tall tower. Oddly, It seemed to grow as we got closer and closer, like a record on repeat. Suddenly, we hear a horrifying sound, as loud as a million lions. Before any of us could process what happened, a green light identical to the one from before erupted from the top of the tower, and we plunged into darkness yet again. Seriously? When will we get out of the loop? Right now we are back into the throne room, going through the early steps before we go to investigate. This time,

we attempt to pull the drunken man out of the river, which we finally succeed in. one of our crewmates punched Gideon again, him giving us a confused look. Once we got to the tower, it got further and further away, like we could never reach it. A few of us tried to use magic, casting various spells to see if it had any effect. But, none worked. It almost seemed like the charms would bounce straight off the tower. Behind us, a strange voice asked, “Hello?’” We turned our heads and saw a man on the balcony. He gives a sly smile and makes an odd motion with his hands. All of a sudden, we are levitating in mid-air. He squeezed his arms like fists, which squished our bodies with extreme force. After a small conversation, some of us got to go inside. I was not allowed, sadly. We stayed outside the tower and tried to overhear what they were talking about. Leaning on the stone cold walls, I tried to hear any possible words. Some pop out, like arcane engine, power, and wizards. I gave up and took a seat next to my friends, munching on the savory and delicious salt and vinegar chips in my bag. When could we go inside? Suddenly, the vegetable construct fell off the balcony. “Ouch!” It yells. I went over and saw various bruises on the turnip and open sores. I heal him., and he is pulled back up the balcony by another teammate. After waiting for about half an hour, we finally got to go inside. One of our friends pulled us inside and told us everything that happened. He explained what an arcane engine is, which I suppose I should tell you at this point in the story. 100 years ago, 10 wizards became power foul with unknown magic. It was so powerful some even unlocked the power of immortality. The others were fueled by the thought of being immortal, and kept on testing things that would help unlock it.

Eventually, they created an infinite source of power, which is now known as the arcane engine. The wizards used it to do things people thought were impossible: things that only the smartest were capable of. Sadly, most of the wizards died, but those who had unlocked immortality stayed alive. The mage, or man here is one who managed to unlock this ability. He put an arcane engine in the ground, creating the floating city of Exandria. But one day he knew he would face the sad reality of the city, as the city cannot last forever. In other words, one day it will crash to the ground, broken and lifeless. This man's name is Uther the Unforgiving, and he is much more merciful than the others. He supplied the main power for the engines, while the smarter wizards supplied the science and engineering. Anyways, back to the story. The mage moved over to what looked like a dropper, and said “Wish me luck!” and turned the handle. A green explosion erupted like the first time, but it was lighter. Absolute chaos exploded from the tower, people screaming from outside. For some reason, the wizard didn’t seem to be surprised even though he said the probability of us surviving was extremely high. The kingdom falls into the chasm, and we all black out. P.S.- What if the lighter it gets in each loop the closer we are to getting out?

There was sheer panic going around, as I remember a few of the Keepers trying to save Gideon. The fellow had fallen into the water

She had to take a breather, AND YET THE OLD MANÂ ON TOP OF THE TOWER WAS LIKE â&#x20AC;&#x153; haha look at those losersÂ trying to get near the window! â&#x20AC;?!!!!!!!!!! Shanon wasÂ only getting the hang of magic and flying, she felt bad for birdsÂ for once . I mean she wasnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t able to do ANYTHING when theÂ others weâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;re drifting down the waterfall, IF IT WERENâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;T FORÂ SNOW, WHO JUST HAD TO PUNCH GIDEON!!! Ok ok no moreÂ complaining about what happened in the story. The point was thatÂ Shannon hadnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t been able to control her powers very well, sheÂ was still getting used to this whole new wing thing and magicÂ thing. â&#x20AC;&#x2039;Ok well letâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s not get carried away with this whole COMPLAININGÂ thingâ&#x20AC;&#x2039; â&#x20AC;&#x2039;. â&#x20AC;&#x2039;Well then, what happened to the loop, the mostÂ â&#x20AC;&#x153;important part of the storyâ&#x20AC;?? Well heh, Shannon wasnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t reallyÂ paying attention to it, she was exhausted from the flying andÂ magic thing, since she had only gotten her wings and magic fromÂ a potion that would only last around a year, it was limited. SoÂ yeah she wasnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t REALLY paying attention, heh. Â Â

The Mage’s Tower Jayden As we see the flash and everything happening again we realize that we will keep on being in this loop. Quickly, just like last time, we follow Gideon into the lake. Suddenly, as we are walking Snow turns around and punches Gideon in the face. Gideon slips and he falls into the lake. “Quick” someone shouts and a handful of people jump into the lake. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Snow grab a hold of Gideon and a branch and struggle to hold on. I silently swear in my brain and cast a magical spell. A giant hand comes out of my hand and I scoops up Snow and Gideon and drops them onto the ground. I sigh in relief as Gideon gets up and I see our other mages have cast a spell and dragged the others on our team back. Thankfully it seems that Gideon doesn't remember that we punched him. As we move we slowly get closer to the mages tower. We all vote to go to the tower and break in. I charge in and evoke a green orb, and throw it at the building. “FBI OPEN UP” I shout as I throw the green orb. Instead of seeing the building collapse and break down it flashes green and everything around us blows up.

LIKE THE TWENTIETH LOOP

LEON The king said the same things as last time we were in this place so we answered them and went with Gideon again, he walked and sang until we finally met the drunk man again. Two people tried to stop him and they did but then they punched Gideon and he fell in the river. So once again me and a couple other people jumped in the freezing cold river to try to save him, at first all I wanted was to surf on Gideons drowning body but like the last time I was in the river the current got the best of me and I was sliding fast towards the waterfall again. My last attempt to save my self worked and me and a couple other people were hanging from the edge with water splashing all over our faces, we were swiftly rescued by the cowards who didn't dive in and we were on our way again. We were walking towards the Mage’s tower because after I died the first time

they went towards the tower and some strange thing happened so they wanted to see it again, once we got there we realized that from afar it didn't look too big but up close it was gigantic, we bust opened the door and walked in but the second we stepped in some sort of loud noise and a weird light erupted from somewhere. Then the ground broke and everyone started to fall again. We awoke once more in the king's room and we did what we did last time but instead of going to the river we went straight to the tower. This time we tried a different approach by letting all the avian people try to fly up to the one window but from my perspective on the ground it looked like the tower was growing upwards, so instead we politely asked for permission to enter. A man with a heavy beard looked down from a balcony and was astounded by some of our politeness and let a couple people in, I

was one of the handful who got to step in while the rest were blocked by some impenetrable barrier at the entrance. I could tell that there were many spells cast all over the tower because when we stepped in, we walked into a room with one balcony and a window and one old looking man drinking tea, the first thing someone did was to cast a truth spell but the spell was easily deflected by the old man and hit the person who casted it. In response I quickly casted a huge majic hand and tried to punch him but instead he flicked me aside and I fell out the window. The fall was quick I guess because it was quicker than the last time I fell off something high, the people who weren't allowed to enter the tower briskly healed me and all we could do was watch. We couldn't hear anything and it was extremely hard to see anything through the window but I was sure I saw some movement, all the sudden I saw some flashing lights and then everything went quiet. Me and everyone else were waiting patiently and quietly hoping we could hear something but

all was quiet, there was nothing to be heard. Suddenly the ground started to shake violently and a bright beam of light ruptured from the top of the tower and shot into the sky, I finally heard some talking coming from the tower but it was very panicked and the words I heard were strange, I heard something about an Arcane engine. The ground started to fall and the city started to fall from the sky, as everyone was falling I took the time to think, “ I thought Arcane engines were just a tale and it was all nonsense but an Arcane engine would be the only thing strong enough to keep the city in the sky, so they are real” I thought. Then I hit the ground and awoke once again in the king's room.

Luke Decision, decisions, decisions. I donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t get how we keep on dying and reincarnating. The loop just keeps on going. We have to make the right decisions and we all know that we have to prevent the blast from happening. Our last time, we saved Gideon the music player and the old man who fell down the waterfall. We then approached where we saw the blast from last time. We saw a massive tower. It seemed to get runk. We then proceeded larger as we kept on approaching. This was our second attempt. The first failure resulted when we tried to smack the tower. The whole thing came crashing down killing all of us. We decided it would be best to actually climb the tower. We saw a mage. I thought I recognized him but I wasnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t sure. I approached this mysterious man and I immediately recognized him. He was Uther the Unforgiving. He was a very powerful mage living on for nearly 2000 years. A few moments later he explained to the rest of the group who he was and the tower blew up in a flash. We have just reapered and we need to find the correct solution this time. It is very stressful to all of us and we need to find a solution. What else can we do? How can we defeat this mage or over power the tower and prevent the loop. How will we save this kingdom? How will we save everything?

NATHAN Well, after the fall, All Of us were very, very surprised to be back in the throne room, where we were talking to the king like nothing happened. We figured that it was a loop, and it repeated whenever we died, and to get out of the loop, we had to survive until the end. We ignored people in danger this time, as to not endanger ourselves in the process. We decided to avoid the bank this time, and go to the Mage tower instead. The mage tower was super tall, and when we knocked, we heard someone on the balcony. They let us in when Hannah was super respectful and kind of being a suck-up. The mage was pretty old, and he looked it. He let us in, and he showed us arcane engines. I was all like WOAH!!!! hE EVEN EXPLAINED ABOUT ARCANE ENGINES AND ABOUT THEIR HISTORY, AND I WAS ALL EARS. uNTIL, we felt an explosion, and then, the purple mage tower crumbled to ashes, and so did the kingdom. “Here we go again,'' I sighed.

Hosun When rowan and the king were there we seemed to be in a loop, but the king and rowan seemed unaware. We go outside and we hear a guitar. We punch him and he falls in the river. We save him but 3 people start falling but we freeze the river. The ice was breaking. But we still survive. We go to the mage’s tower. We use magic to get in the mage tower. Green flames and we all died. Next snow and hannah try to save tom. And Gideon gets stopped by Hannah and he stops. We fly in but the window get higher and higher. We ask hello and someone says what an interesting group you are? A man in a rope drinking tea was sitting there. He asked what we got there? We say that we have people who can do alot of damage. It didn't work. Luckily Hannah complimented him and he asks her if she wants to come in. 8 of us went in. We see curtains and there’s a balcony but it’s supposed to be 15 feet above. Leon tried to kill him but it didn't work. Snow tried to heal him and it. Jayden says that Leon wants to kill him. The wizard says that there are problems around and he explains to us that he researches a thing called acane sensor and he shows us it. We are in a strange place that feels like the inside of a clock. We see a bowl with a purple thing inside. He tells us that nothing is what it looks like for example he said that the gears aren’t spinning as fast as they look. Luke explains that arcane engines and people push powers of arcane and many got people. But people started to betray each other. People started attacking each other and it was chaos. Luke hears the name usar the unforgiving and he survived the arcane engine. Luke tells us that this man is SUPER dangerous, like SUPER on steroids and drugs. The wizard told us that the city will fall one day, a purple light goes through the city and he goes oh. The wizard says he may have a solution. Jayden failed to cast a shield. Then it goes black. Snow sees a green explosion. We go back in a time loop. But then we see another group of adventurers. We see on a rock ANY INFO?

Story Line After Alexandria had fallen, we were somehow teleported to the throne room. I remembered that this was the moment that the Shadow had his head chopped off. I wondered: ‘How did we get here all of a sudden?’ It turns out, we were stuck in a loop and we’d have to get out of it. We left the room and saw a man fall into a river. We rushed to the rescue. One of us jumped into the river to save him, but all he did was notice that the river was leading them to a waterfall. He did that and he got stuck. One by one, we were jumping into the river to save them but the people who jumped in just kept on getting stuck. Even when most of us were trying to kamikaze to help this man, some of us were just trying to find a solution to all this. My friend tried to scoop up everyone but he was lucky enough to scoop up one of us and the man. I could tell that the man wanted to thank us but there were still multiple people in the river and they were still stuck there, nowhere close to the edge, drifting into independent doom.

That moment, I got an idea. If they were nowhere near the edge, then why don't they make an edge for them? I concentrated my power into my hand and released it. A ball of energy flew at them and froze a part of the river, giving them a place to hang on to. With that time, my friend shot a hand at them and carefully scooped them right out of the river just as the piece of ice came crashing down the waterfall. The man wouldn’t go until he told us his name: ‘Gideon’. ‘This name sounds familiar’ I thought as we made our way into a clearing. There we saw a big tower with a little balcony at the top. We decided to not be polite (I don’t know why) and we busted in the place like the FBI. But, there was a flaw. You see, immediately after we busted in, the place blew up, with us in it. But when I saw where we were again, we were in the throne room. This means only one thing: were back where we started.

Subterfuge at the Spa Christina Ye

I have a question. Would you kill the king of your kingdom just to see what happens? Needless to say, this is exactly what happened in the throne room today. As we looped back again, we saw a message carved in the stone plaque beside us, and read the note. It was from another group of adventurers, going through the same thing as us. I had hoped today would be a normal day, and we’d go by the first hour in the river without making any changes. But of course some people didn’t want to, and instead wanted to try the most ridiculous thing on the planet. “What if we kill the king?” one vegetable construct shouted. “Yeah! Let’s do it! Somebody said, as one more decided to hop on. So, the three charged towards the king, and… well, it went terribly. Eric, the wizard, was immediately decapitated by Ro’en, and the other two were stopped by Vex’alia. The sorceress casted a s[ell, and surprise surprise! We all died again. “Are you out of your minds?” Vex’alia says, dropping the ice wall. We turned to each other, realizing that she was somehow in the loop. “Have you had your fun, or do you need another lesson?” Oddly, one of our crewmates said yes and immediately died. Why is everybody dying? Anyway, we decided to ask her how she was in the loop. “ I am in the loop because without my actions the you would be dead” Vex’alia told us. “ The ice wall protected both you and the king, and since you are in this loop, I was pulled in. The only difference is that I have been doing the same actions each day, unlike you.” Ro’en and the king sit there, confused. At the

end of the day, when we loop again, they will lose their memory, so it doesn’t really matter. Gideon entered, “Greetings and salutations, good tidings and vibrations! Please follow me in this direction!” like usual. He gently hums, and we follow him down the path. Last time, we discovered the arcane engine must be somewhere underground, so we scout the marketplace. After taking a brief vote, we decide to go to the snooty spa, Judy looks relieved, and paid at the front and walked right in. We splitted up into groups, people who would try to sneak in, and people who would try to fight. I chose to fight, as it is significantly more interesting than sneaking in. Our plans came to action, as the sneak group went first. We hid behind a bush, watching as the other group made it safely inside. Through the window, we can see some disguised as workers. Now, it was our turn. We fought with the guards, bruises and cuts rising to our skin. I went around and gave everyone a good healing so we could continue fighting. One teammate was fighting a guard, when the guard yelled, “ Abracadabra!” like he was casting a spell. However, Snow saw that it wasn’t actually magic, but instead he reached in his back pocket, abou to throw something. He punched the guard in the head, and it topples over like a statue. Luke had mental control over one guard, shouting various orders to the fearful crowd. Gideon tried to calm everyone down, singing, “ No need to fear,” to the townspeople. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a worm, struggling to move away from the approaching bird. Weirdly, it looks like the eyes of our shapeshifters.

As the fight gradually comes to an end, we go inside the spa. Over where Eliana and Judy are working, there was talk about a guy named Rufus, who was apparently tied to a bank until he was bankrupt. My group walked further and further into the spa, the turnip complaining that the steam was boiling him. Me and Luke managed to catch a glimpse of a hooded figure, who seemed to smile and then disappear. Due to this strange phenomenon, we investigated further. The bodies seemed to be still, all of them, like they were floating in the pool. Then it hits me, they’re dead! Luke was thinking the same thing, and decided to play dead. I went around and warned people, telling them that they may want to leave. Suddenly, Judy spoke up in a quiet voice, “G-guys, something v-very c-cold is on my shoulder.” It looked like an arm of mist, racing down her spine. The shadow plunged her into the water, and she fell inside.

Heading towards the Snooty Spa, I was thinking about what my plan would be once we arrived. I knew I was going to sneak in, with a few other of the members. However, I wasn’t exactly sure how to do so. After a few more moments, I felt a hard wall smacked on my face. I hadn’t even realised the fact that we had already arrived, and ended up slamming my face against the cold, hard wall. I started panicking ever so slightly, as I had to come up with an idea on the spot. My nose slightly throbbing, I barely paid attention to what the others were doing, as I was so focused on the next thing I had to do. We ended up heading towards a back door that led into the spa, me and everyone else planning to sneak in. My panic only started to rise, and I had difficulty breathing the closer we got there. The door was quite plain, nothing special about it. As I looked more attentively on the lock, I remembered a trick my mom used to tell me when picking at a lock. I searched for a bobby pin, and found one in my pocket. I pulled it out and started picking at the lock. My hands were sweating a lot, and ever so slightly shaking at the same time. When I finally opened the door, it ended up making more sound then I would’ve preferred. We were finally in. I slowly crept inside, as a wave of dirty laundry started to attack my sense of smell. I realized I had crept into a strange type of employee locker room, surely explaining the faint smell of dirty laundry waving around. After a few moments of exploring, I found a stash of unused employee uniforms. I decided to try one on, as a disguise. A little clumsy at first, I got out of the room and into the spa itself. Since I’ve grown up in a poor neighbourhood, I was actually quite in shock by how nice looking it was. When I got out, I started worrying about whether people would start getting suspicious , but I ended up not arousing anyone’s suspicion. I slowly started going up to a group of quite snobby looking men, who seemed very rich.Listening to their conversation, I tried to gather up as much information as possible. From what I heard, there was a recent disturbance at the bank, caused by someone who used to be as wealthy as them. The men called him Roofus, and kept on saying about how much of a stir he made at the bank. Apparently, he kept on rambling on and on about how he needed to get an ancient artifact, and kept on demanding that the bank gives him a certain part of money. I started pressing the men on the matter, which I felt as if might have been too much. However, they didn’t complain and continued on with the story. From what I heard, this “Roofus” rambled on about how it was vital for a certain machine, and that the artifact he was looking for was indeed in the bank. I started getting more and more intrigued. But what intrigued me the most was the fact that this artifact he was looking for happened to be a book. A book that belonged to the sorceress Vex’alia, and seemed to be quite important to her.

This time when we woke up we thought about killing the king cause why not so we charged recklessly at the king, Rowan the kings guard cut off someone's hand and stabbed some people while the weird witch shot this thing at us that made us disintegrate and we woke up on the floor again. This time the witch acted differently and when the king said “ do you have any questions” the witch froze everything and she said “ what do you think you're doing” then she gave us a hard lecture about not blowing things up and how to not fall off a floating city, then we left once more. This time instead of going straight to the weird guys tower we went to the snooty spa, once we got there the guards there said that we weren't aloud inside unless we were willing to pay a large amount of coin, but we all had that feeling that something good was in there, something that would

give us information, so we kept on trying to get in. One rich coward paid the guard and entered the spa untouched while some of the cowards wanted to sneak but me and the bois wanted to fight so the cowards went behind the building while we did all the hard work. me and the bois were charging at the guards when one of the big fat and stupid guards decided to stab me with a very long spear, I laid there really injured with blood dripping out of my turnip body, Hosun brutally beat up the person who stabbed me and finally pulled the spear out of me. While everybody else fought wildly around me, Christina quickly healed me and I was back on my feet eager to punch some people, In the end we finally won and we entered the snooty spa. The spa was really hot and steamy but it felt good because I half of me was a vegetable and vegetables breath carbon dioxide (ITS SIENCE MATT) I saw the rich coward who payed to get inside in one of the pools talking to a rich fat dude, a couple waiters serving drinks and in the back I saw some floating bodys in the

pools. I thought “ are they alive?” but I wasn't the only one noticing them, Christina saw them too and went to check on them and she screamed and shouted “ they're dead” . None of the rich people really cared because they were too snotty to care about dead people and they kept on talking, then from the corner of my eye I saw Hannah getting stabbed from behind, I tried to see who was the killer but the killer just slid away from myvision and into the smoke.

Luke We started another loop. We went back to the waterfall and instead of saving everyoneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s lives ultimately for ours we decided to push Gideon the annoying music man, of the waterfall. Somehow not dying, he made it back to us and was about to give us a smack when we cast a spell convincing him that we saved him instead of the complete opposite. At this point we were sick of dying so we just kept on trying to get a good result. One thing that we havenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t tried yet was to go to the spa. We approached there and some of us snuck in, some others just paid and the rest of us fought. We ended up winning the fight because we had 5 times more allies, the sneakers attempted to sneak in the back door and succeed. We had some problems with the shape shifters. They turned into a bird and a fly and tried to eat each other. Thankfully the fly didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t get eaten and everything turned out decently. We all got in and soon we were searching for answers. I approached the hot tub where a few men seemed to be lying there dead. I got extremely nervous but on the surface I looked calm and ready. I heard a noise to the left of me and I saw a shadow. The same shadow that we had been chasing. I started conjuring up some magic to blast the wicked shadow figure but by the time I had gathered the power he was gone and there were even more bodies littering the hot tubs than before. What can I do.

I would like an Invisibility Ring. Yes, that appeals to me.

Nathan We woke up in the throne room…. Today, we tried to kill the king, which fortunately, didn’t work. Then, we found out that Vex’alia was part of the loop, and if she leaves the loop, everyone dies. Wow. That was really weird. This time, we decided to go to the spa. Gideon calls it the snooty spa probably because he doesn’t have any money because of gambling. Anyways, Jayden and Hannah decided to turn into bugs, but then, they got really distracted, and a bird almost ate them, because bugs are really DUM.Anyways, Judy the rich snob decided to spend a lot of her money on the spa, and even though she was a foreigner, she was rich, and that was what everyone in the spa cared about. I decided to break in, and it went well, except, there was a really thick smoke. My wolf eyesight saw the shadow, but only hosun, christina, and I were able to see. I saw the shadow in the corner, while some of my friends were taking a lot of damage, and drowning. The last thing I saw before becoming unconscious was the shadow, melting into the further steam that I couldn’t see.

We found out that the arcane machine keeps the island floating. We attacked the king and we all died. The loop restarts and snow tries to use magic but loses a hand. We punch gideon. We get saved but snow who has 1 hand. We used a magic spell so he forgot everything. We go to the spa. We decide to sneak in. Jayden gets a cough. We get in and people start talking to us. There are only fancy people in here. Leon charges and Leon runs into a spear. We go into a pool. There are also mud pools. We hang out and chill. There are people who discuss a disturbance and say how ruvus was rich and things got bad. He told us that he wanted an ancient artifact. Someone told us something but since i was not there i didn't know anything. Leon walked on spikes and took harm. Leon and snow comes in and there's a lot of steam. Luke pretend to work ere and they agree. Someone a shady figure as it smiles. I call Luke a simp while everyone looks for the shady manz. We look at the people and they are died. Idk why but they died. Rip. Luke jumps in the pool and Judy says LOOK OUT. people are panicking and judy feels a cold thing down her chest and she is thrown out of the pool and she sees the figue

The Bank Job

HI AGAIN, THIS TIME IN THE BEGINNING WE ALL GOT A SPECIAL PRESENT IN THE END, I GOT A SPECIAL HEALING DEVICE THAT WOULD HELP ME HEAL PEOPLE BETTER. I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS PRETTY USEFUL SINCE I’M NOT VERY GOOD AT HEALING.(A.K.A. I’M ALWAYS UNLUCKY WHEN ROLLING THE DICE) THIS TIME WE WENT TO BANK DURING THE LOOP, AND SOME OF US MADE IN INTO THE VAULT AND FOUND SOMETHINGS. WE GOT TO CHOOSE IF WE WANT TO JUST WALK IN, SNEAK IN, OR FIGHT YOUR WAY IN. I CHOSE TO SNEAK IN ALWELL AS SOME OTHERS, I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS A GOOD CHOICE BECAUSE WELL I'M NOT VERY GOOD AT FIGHTING AND I FEEL LIKE JUST WALKING IN WOULDN’T BE SAFE. The Bank Job Christina Ye

Chaos is the best word to describe today’s events. It was pure mayhem as we tried to chase the shadow and save the people. Everybody was all over the place, badly bruised or frantically trying to stay safe. Luke walked over to the shadow, and gave a good jab with his fist, only to see the shadow reach out to his hand, like what happened to Judy. It looked like his hand turned wrinkly for a split second, then went back to normal. I tried to evacuate all the people in the spa, some too scared to move. I told the frozen crowd, “Come on! There’s nothing to see here. You’ll be safer outside.” Some moved towards the exit and got out safely, but the others were panicking and didn’t know what to do. Hosun dived at the shadow, hoping to aid Luke in the fight. The two continued to fight the shadow, while the rest of us dealt with other things. Celina helped get Hannah, who was somehow drowning, out of the pool. Still stuck, she stayed and watched over Hannah. Our sight was blinded by steam and fog, shouts giving orders to others. Amidst the battle, Eliana managed to figure out where the steam was coming from. She located a pile of boiling rocks, which she had previously seen the employees pouring water over. Working quickly, Eliana tried to figure out a way to cool down the rocks. Above her, Jayden tried to open up the vent. He successfully got it open and climbed inside. Across from him, he noticed a lever was located at the other side of the vent. Crawling over, he pulled the handle. But then again, the shadow reached to him, the strange hand changing phenomenon happened again.

Carrying on with the event, Nathan gave the shadow a stab and it looked like it was trying to suppress a look of pain from it’s face. Finally, we were making progress. The shadow sprinted down the spa, the mist blinding some of our vision as he slipped past us. As the situation calmed down, rounds of healing went out to everyone, some unable to move. Pale faces had their peachy colour of skin returned, and everyone felt much better. Now, we headed to the bank, where the shadow went next. We decided to split up into three groups: One that would attack, another that would sneak in, and lastly one that would try and trick the guards. I decided to trick, as I was exhausted and couldn't fight anymore. Hannah, Judy and I walked up to the guards, and surprisingly, they let us walk right in. The bank teller came out of her office and asked, “ Hi! Welcome to Exandrian Trust. My name is Rebecca, what can I do for you today? “ We asked her to give us a minute so we could sort out a plan. I came up with an idea and told the group. Basically, Judy was rich and could ask Rebecca to open up an account. This way, Rebecca would leave us alone and Hannah and I could work on finding the shadow. The plan quickly sprung into action. Judy and Rebecca went to the side office, while Hannah tried to distract the guards. I looked around the bank, which had a tall marble ceiling with quartz pillars. Towards the back, there was a vault, with metal bars and a dial. I walked over and attempted to crack the dial. It didn’t work, so I pressed my ear against the wall in case I could hear movement. Sure enough, the faint shuffle of feet could be heard. I hoped the groups were doing well, and hadn’t faced any hurdles yet.

The door of the office creaked open, as Rebecca and Judy walked out. I carefully walked away from the vault without creating suspicion. “Would you like a tour of the vault?” Rebecca questioned, tempted by the wad of cash Judy was holding in her hand. “Yes,” Judy answered, and we watched Rebecca punch in the code. Unfortunately, we only remembered the first 2 digits. Through the window, I saw that the attack team was preparing to fight, while the sneak group climbed up the roof of the bank. Wishing them luck, an unexpected scream emerged from the background. Then I realized that this is when the purple bandana people robbed the bank. They arrived, and the marketplace became a mess. Our attack team blatantly failed, falling to the ground by the second. None remained standing, and my expression flashed with horror. With a rumble, I looked up to see the ceiling coming down. The bank teller yelled, “Take Cover!” just a moment too late. Hannah and the guards were crushed under the rubble. As Rebecca opened the vault, I sprung in in the nick of time. I got inside and Judy and I got to work. We had two options: Find the shadow or look at the strange book ahead of us. Reluctantly, we chose the book. As Judy flipped through the old thin pages, she stopped for a moment to look at the front cover. Vex’alia, it read. Peeking over her shoulder, it seemed like a bunch of journal entries, signed with the letter “U” each time. The brittle pages suggested it was from the age of arcanum, which means “U” must refer to Uther the Unforgiving. On the last page, the phrase was inscribed, “I give you this book to continue thy power. To my daughter, Vex’alia.”

A million thoughts entered my mind as I read the last sentence. But before I could wrap up my thoughts, a voice emerged from above. “Ah… So now I know the old man’s secret. Thank you for giving me the weakness I needed to kill him. “ the voice laughed maniacally. Judy and I slowly looked up, as the shadow unmasked himself and killed us with a flick of his fingers. Take 2. We are back in the throne room for about- what, the fiftieth time? As Vex’alia dropped the wall, it didn't budge. Everyone was frozen, and she turned towards our group. “Well, it seems like you made good progress in the bank. What did you find?” Eliana proceeds to tell her about the book, which her team must have encountered as well. “Oh, that? That’s my father’s diary. We aren’t very close. Anyway, there is something I am going to give your group. “ Vex’alia stated. “Perhaps, in these uncertain times, you would need something more… extra. You have proved me wrong, and I admit I need your help to save this city.” One by one, she walked up to us and presented a special weapon. Many receive swords, even made out of the strangest material. (Cheese for the cheeseman) Abilities like shape shifting through a hat, and magical stones. Vex’alia walked up to me, and said, “Arwen, I present to you something that is able to fix a costly mistake.” A small, silver pocket watch appeared in the air. “Use it wisely, my dear.”

I was having difficulty seeing through the dense steam that was going around in the spa. Completely panicking, I felt as if my legs were going to collapse right under me. I started having more and more difficulty breathing, both because I was on the verge of fainting, but also because of the strange steam that was enveloping me. As I tried to gather my thoughts, I realized with horror that one of the members was drowning right in front me, another member trying helplessly to save her from doing so. Struck by horror, I decided that the best decision I had on my hands was to figure out where this steam was coming from. My legs still shaking, I tried my best to retain the nausea I had while walking through the strange steam. After a few moments, I ended up seeing two stands that caught my attention. Beside them, there were two rocks, in which seemed to be where the steam was coming from. While figuring out how to disperse the steam, I realized a vent seemed to be the steam’s only exit. Carefully, I started climbing towards the vent with a ladder I found near me. It wasn’t quite stable, that’s as much as I can say about it. Finally able to reach the vent, I saw a rusty lever that seemed to be stuck. I yanked as hard as I could, and with a sudden pop, I opened the vent and felt relieved to finally breath in some proper air. However, the moment didn’t last, as I felt a sudden pain in my arm. I turned around to see what was happening, only to realize with horror that the Shadow was grabbing on to it. Then, the pain only started to get worse, to the point where it felt like my arm was going to give up on me. Struggling through the pain, I tried my best to distinguish who this person was. Sadly, the steam wasn’t clear enough for me to really focus with the pain. I started feeling dizzy, as the Shadow started slowly letting go. I then watched it slowly fade away from me. And it was the last thing I ended up seeing before everything went black.

After collapsing through the bank roof, I slowly started to wake up in the throne room. However, it was different this time.. Everyone in the throne room seemed to be frozen. “How strange” I thought, as Vex’alia suddenly unfreezed while walking towards us.So many questions were basculating in my head, that it started to give me a little headache. I rubbed my temples, trying to figure out what I’d ask her. Hesitant at first, I ended up asking about this book at the bank. She seemed shocked by the question at first, then started regaining her composure as she started explaining how the book belonged to her father. A diary, more like. And as she continued on, I started forming the puzzle in my head. From what I understood, Uther seemed to be her father, explaining why he didn’t take her life during the massacre. Their father-daughter relationship, however, wasn’t so great. Vex’alia then started to give us special weapons, individually. I was eyeballing the other’s weapons when she then turned to me, and handed me a small and smooth stone, with an X carved into it. On the rims, there were gradients of color that were slightly subsiding in the grey part of the stone. I was mesmerized by its beauty, inspecting every nook and cranny of it. The stone itself was quite light, but slightly heavier whenever I would feel more stressed. I contemplated it for the entire time before I

realized we had to leave yet again for another adventure. I stuck it in my pocket, and left the throne room.

BECAUSE THEY WANTED IMAGINARY MONEY, THE MONEY IS GOING TO COME BACK TO MY POCKET AT THE END OF THE LOOP ,SO WHY BOTHER!!!!???? But Shannon wasn’t just targeted by her team members, she was also targeted by the Shadow. “Ok,ok,ok EVERYONE WE ARE NOW TO ROB THE BANK, EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF YOU ARE TO CHOSE A JOB! UM CAN YOU HEAR ME? THE RADIO IS REALLY BAD!” Shannon was guided by Hannah who gave her a great idea, since Shannon was rich, she would fit fight in with the bank if she said she would like to open and account. Shannon was in the volt so HER TEAM MEMBERS WOULDN’T KILL HER, also that she was safe from the people with the purple bandanas. Then when Christina jumped into the volt with her when the building was collapsing, they found Vex'alia’s dad’s diary. Then the Shadow came up and said “so that's the old man’s secret.

Thank you.”. Then he sunk his claws into Shannon’s and Christina's heads and killed them.

Hosun Today we chose an item. I choose a mega stone idk why. Luke tries to poke the shadow and I hit the shadow but he swipes at me. Snow also attacks and also gets swiped at. Judy makes a shield and leon takes 2 harm after getting shaken around. Nathan also got attacked. He gets slowed down and is in pain. Hannah is drowning. Steam is emanating steam. Nathan sees the shadows outline and he is heading to the backdoor. Nathan misses the shadow though. The shadow is going to the bank. He phases through the back wall of the bank. We decided to attack the bank??? But all I wanted to do was to kill Judy and split her money. We met a woman. Hannah says she is interested in their job and uniform. The woman is Rebecca and she kidnapped judy. Rebecca is interested about how she has money and gives her a tour. The sneak in group are on the top of the bank. We turn around and we see a group of 4 people that have purple bandanas. The leader has a red orb and he rolls it to us. Jayden makes a magic shield. Almost all of us idc. Vixsalias asked us what we found and we handed her dad's diary. She read little of it before but she equips us with a weapon. I got a mega stone. It allows me to be light or heavy.

So there were in the spa with the mysterious man on the run, a group of people went to follow him while me and Nathan went to steal from the unconscious Judy. We were fine with this because she was just rich and bossy and none of the boys liked her because she was very annoying, when we reached in her pockets she opened her eyes and cast a shield spell on us and bothe me and Nathan went flying across the room. We went to follow everyone else but we still had the thought of killing Judy in our heads, we were heading towards a bank because Judy said she wanted to invest with her money or something. We split into two groups, the cowards went in the bank to “talk to them” while me and the bois were gonna kill everybody, so we aired a while for the cowards to finish up with there talking

but it seemed like it never ended so we just attacked, we were doing extremely good until another group with masks showed up. They stood there surprised for a second but then they got to work, they rigged this bomb thing and threw it at us and I died in the explosion because it landed right at my feet. I awoke back in the throne room with everyone beside me, I looked around and everything looked the same until the witch paused the time again, she said she was watching us for a while and she wanted to give us each something that would help us a lot. Some people got stones that enhanced magic, some got swords, and purses but all I got was a Duck Hat that let me shape shift into anything. Luke I was still in the spa when I saw the shadow again. It was casually standing in the pool waiting for my move. I hefted the electric spear that I had stolen and jabbed the sharp end at the shadow. He yelped for a frame of a second and slapped me in the face faster than I could react. Just then our group stormed in willing to do whatever it took to assassinate this shadow. We stabbed, jabbed and charged. We just had it in our grasp when the shadow bolted out the door. We chased after it and it charged at a bank wall. We thought surely this shadow would just run into the wall but he moved into the wall as easily as if it was just thin air. We continually chased after this mysterious creature and followed it into the bank. We split into three groups. One for attacking, another one for sneaking and the final one to ask their way in. I went with the sneak group. We all successfully made it in though. We saw the purple mask guys that we had seen before in a previous loop. Just then the building collapsed and many of us died and were to be revived in the next loop. I saw a safe. I squinted my eyes and saw a book. I couldn’t read what it said but I figured that this was very important and we would need it. I saw the shadow man again. He spoke a few words to himself and took off his mask. I couldn’t get a good glimpse of it’s face but just as it was about to turn around. The tower exploded and the loop started all over again. We saw Vex ’alia yet again and she presented us with new weapons and objects. I got a bio-degrading bow. Now we are resting and preparing for the next step of our journey. To do even more than we did before.

Nathan Suddenly, I woke up. It felt like I was unconscious for around 5 minutes. Then, I saw the shadow try to leave the room. I tried to sneak up on him and hit him, but that ended in more bloodshed. Except he was the one who hit me. After that, I saw the shadow melt into the bank. Like our other poor-judged decisions. Some people talked, and Judy was led into the vault. I tried to attack, but then the purple mask dudez came. Then, there was a deafening explosion, and most of us died. Story Line Great. Now, we're stuck in a spa with a random person fighting us. I really don’t know what to do in this situation. We throw magic attacks at him. We throw punches, kicks, and more punches. Eventually, I try to freeze him, which works out nicely. Now, we are in a spa, with a frozen criminal. This happens every day doesn't it. The ice doesn't hold him for long though, but long enough to deal some damage to him. But for some reason, he retreats and we are wondering why he did. We don’t have that much money so we decide to go into the bank. But again, we are savages and we try to steal the money. One girl goes to the register and says that she wants to open a new bank account. The register leads her into the bank and gives us more time to det in. However, a few people with purple headbands start attacking the bank.

The force they gave to the bank made it tremble and shake, and soon, the bank was crumbling. The cause of that made most of us die. But some of us lived including me. But that wasn’t for long because Alexandria was falling again. But remember, were in a loop so we're back where we started

The Haunted Mines May 25 2020 If you looked around the room, you would see the ten of us lavishly admiring

our newly received gifts. No words are spoken, as each and every one of us turned their object round and round in their hands. Vex’alia quickly interrupted the silence so we could get to work. “We need to fix the arcane engine,” she calmly stated. “As soon as we do so, I can drop the time loop and life will return to it’s normal course. I do not expect you to use any less of your time compared to the last loop. “ We stood there, nervously awaiting our task. Vex’alia continued, “ There are three things you may choose to do today. The marketplace awaits, and is the only place you haven’t gone. Or, you could go to the mines, where we have already obtained a bit of information from some loops before. Now, the last option is for the cowards in this group. Go home. Leave this island and never come back. What are you waiting for? Go!” she shouted, with a grim expression on her face. The group split, several deciding to leave the island. I am amongst the few who chose to go to the mines. First, though, we had to watch our other odd teammates jump off the island. I suppose that's a rather, well, harsh way to phrase it. Anyway, Luke and Hosun prepared to jump, grabbing on to the edge of the cliff. “I.. I can’t do it!” they quivered, chickening out. They came back to the rest of the group and sat down. So far, this event was a lot like a dying circus. The turnip successfully used his new hat and turned into a duck, flying down to the ground. He gave a cheer, which sounded more like, “Quack.”. Anyway, Jayden, the shapeshifter, became a dragon and Nathan rode on his back. They made it down too, and only

one person is left. The cheeseman. He jumped, with no one to catch him. Steering to the water, he landed with a splash and flowed down the river. “Over there!” Nathan yelled, pointing to the cheeseman’s direction. Oddly, Leon and Jayden don’t do anything. Instead, they talked about how to save him. “How should we grab him?” was one of the questions. Who cares? Just go and save him for god’s sake! Well, he died, because NOBODY did ANYTHING! What is happening to our team? On the other hand, Luke, Judy and Celina prepared to make their descent from the gate. We waited from afar, and watched as their figures disappeared. Oddly, they appeared right behind us just a minute later. I wondered what happened as we made our way into the mines. ‘Coast is clear!” I shouted, scouting the area for misfortune. But, I failed to see the little tile in front of me, and stepped on. “ Wait! It’s a trap! One of my teammates yelled , just a second late. I stepped off, and nothing happened. We quickly realized that the trap was disarmed, relieved out of our pure luck. We entered the cave, and four symbols were lined up on the wall, one for each element. Beside it was a handprint, and we were presented with 2 options. Let’s just say, this next part involved loads of trial and error. Death after death occurred, looping back every time. Vex’alia wasn’t happy at all, and saw us back in the throne room every minute. Then, we finally cracked the code. Basically, we had to click on the buttons in s specific order. We watched as the final element was punched in and the door slid open. “Hi?” Hannah nervously said. Four purple bandana workers looked up at us, stunned. Before we could say anymore, a voice emerged from the back hallway. “Hi

guys! Uh oh… am I missing anything?” he asked, his eyes wandering. We told them we came in peace, which is partially true. A man pushed his way from the back, and questioned, “ How did you get the combination? Oh… did you just guess?” He seemed to be impressed with our sleuthing work, and slyly inquired, “How would you guys like to accompany us to a little bank robbery?” P.S.- We later discovered that the man was Rufus.

At the entrance of the mines, I felt lost standing in the middle of a sea of tiles. Bewildered at first, I decided to keep my thoughts straight and focus on the mission. However, after a few moments of gathering my thoughts, I realized out of the corner of my eye that one of the keepers who were coming with me was standing on a tile that seemed to be slightly pressing down. As a first instinct, I immediately tried to warn her about it, but I realized I was a little late in doing so. When she realized, I could see she was slightly panicked. As she slowly started stepping off, I held in my breath, expecting the worst to happen. However, nothing did. I slowly started exhaling, my face red from keeping my breath in. I didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t pay much attention to the tile afterwards, as I started to penetrate the mines before anyone could comment about my face looking like a tomato, which only got more red with the embarrassment I felt afterwards. I headed deeper and deeper into it, hearing my footsteps echoing behind me. After a few more moments of silence, I emerged into a small clearing, with a strange looking wall at the back. Taken aback, I just stayed there, amazed by the structure. The air wafting around was ever so slightly pleasing, giving me a sudden urge to just stay there and ponder. As I approached the wall, I could see more clearly the signs on it, with a handprint in the middle. Though only representing the four elements, there were a lot of intricate details carved in the four symbols. I didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t know what to do at first. In the end, I just decided to examine it a little more while waiting to see what the others were going to do. As I was doing so, I felt a little nudge in my shoulder, as a keeper was slowly reaching out his hand to the handprint. Almost immediately after the moment he touched it, he slowly started to turn more and more liquid, and then just completely melted. Struck by horror, I took a mental note to never touch it. Still traumatized, I slowly start seeing the other keeper approaching her hand to touch the fire icon. Suddenly, the place exploded, as everything became black. Back to where I started, this time with more people joining in, I made sure that nobody touched the areas we did that ended in disaster. As one of the keepers started mentioning he planned to press another icon, I realize that I should shield myself if anything would happen. I pulled out my elemental stone, and touched water. After a few moments, I could see a flow of water coming towards me. It then turned into an umbrella, in which I felt more secure in. As I saw the same keeper starting to touch water, The room exploded once again. I held in my breath and crouched in as a first instinct. When I realized I was still alive, I slowly started to open my eyes. I was horrified to see some of the burnt bodies that were still laying there. My nausea started rising more and more as I tried to approach the wall. Ignoring the wave of singed cadavres attacking my sense of smell, I studied attentively the wall once again. I then pressed the earth icon, hesitant at first. To my large relief, it glowed green. I then pressed on the wind icon, who once again glowed green. Looking at my last two options, I decided that since the two elements counterbalanced each other, pressing both would have avoided disaster. The moment I did however, the room exploded once again.

Jayden As everybody wakes up to find themself in the same position I start to get frustrated. I start thinking of plans. Then some GENIUS person shouts “HOW ABOUT WE JUMP OF THE ISLAND?” I immediately agree and we meet at the ends of the island. I will jump off, I think as I yell “COWABUNGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” and dive down while shapeshifting into a dragon. I see that some of my teammates chickened out and most of them jumped down too. I flapped my wing up and picked up Nathan while scratching him half-dead. I soon drop and see snow dropping down. I swoop down but I can't catch him. He falls into the lake and sadly dies (D:). We quickly bury snow and hobble around finding a camp. Soon night falls and I hear a rustling in the bushes. I quickly turn around to find a strange man fighting with my teammates. I turn into a dragon in hopes of scaring the man off. He doesn't seem terrified so I bite him. Strangely he tastes like cheese until I realize that he is Snow.

IDK I LEFT TIDE EJIFONUIFHUEWIHU After everyone received their gifts from the witch we left the room and started to walk away, some people wanted to stay on the island to try to help the people while me and the bois wanted to leave the island because we just wanted to. So we split up, the cowards went towards the mines while me Nathan Jayden and Snow jumped of the floating island(if anyone else left the island to and I didn't mention you then that means I don't care about you) I tried to use my duck hat to transform into a gigantic duck but I was only able to turn into a normal sized duck. With a couple flaps I was able to steady myself and with a couple more I started to fly, I was flying for a while when I noticed snow falling super fast and Jayden ( he a dragon )was trying to catch him but after a couple attempts snow was still falling. (also Nathan is on Jayden's back). I saw snow try to wave his cheese LEON

arms to try to land in the water but it was no use and he hit the ground. Me Jayden and Nathan buried his body and we went to look around in search of mabey a city or something, after a while we found an average looking city a couple kilometers away and we started to walk towards it until a huge rock fell from the sky and landed straight on the city. Then all the sudden as if time was reversed the rock pieced itself back together and rose back into the sky, I realized that the rock was the floating city and that if you left the island you left the loop. So me and Nathan decided to go camping, I found a nice spot and we got some fish and firewood and we started to camp, later at night time we heard some wolf howls and we called back but soon we realized that was a mistake. We all heard and saw something big start to run at us, I quickly turned into a duck while Nathan turned into a

werewolf and we prepared to fight something, all the sudden Snow ran out of the forest and Nathan stabbed him with his claws. Snow was badly injured and died again (I think?) and he was teleported back to the sky. Yeah that's basically all I did and also 400 words!!! That sucks hopefully next class I actually get to do something and be important so I can write something

Luke These loops are really getting tiring. The feeling of death is strangely calm and once you wake up again it's just more labour. Well at least we are getting somewhere. We started this loop of my getting weapons and new abilities allowing us to perform more difficult tasks. This time we chose to go down into the mine. After blowing ourselves up multiple times we finally made it through to meet the purple mask guys. That’s where we are right now, talking to them. As I chose to not plunge to my death as a group of 3 did. Before going into the mine. These three decided to jump off the cliff into the abyss. For whatever reason they didn’t respawn with us. I would guess that they made it out alive using magic or whatnot but one can never be too sure... This loop I feel that we have a true chance of surviving. I think that we can get somewhere in this loop. Possibly even stop the loops completely. But as I said “One can Never be too sure”.

Nathan So, today, I decided to jump off the island with Jayden, Hosun, Leon, and Snow. For some reason, I stopped myself at the last second. Hosun did too.Everyone else jumped. But then, loyal as he always is, Jayden came back for me, but a little bit too rough, and I started bleeding.Hosun stayed on the island. Jayden, Leon and I successfully made it off the island together, except for the fact the Snow splattered onto the floor.We decided to leave Snow(Yes, very great friends)and find a campsite. We got a pretty good one, which was pretty muddy. We set up a camp, built a fire, and I caught some fish. Then, we heard some wolf noises, and we decided to also join in on the wolf noises, oblivious to how Snow was running away from the wolves. Just then, we heard something big rustle in the bushes. It hit me in the shoulder with it’s cheese swo- Wait a minu-That’s Snow!But Jayden clawed him back, so he went to 1 health. We were happy to be reunited and stuff.We attempted to heal Snow, which went pretty well. We gave him some food, and went to sleep.Until the next day……

Dun dun dun the suspense is real

HOSUNâ&#x20AC;?S ENTRY So 3 people jump off the ledge. Leon turned into a duck. She flies. Jayden tries to pick Nathan up and succeeds. Snow deaded. Leon is still duck and Nathan wants to heal. 3 people leave through gate. Christina went into a cave and on a trap tile was there and it was not armed. They went down a cave 15 feet deep. Eric puts his hand in the hand print and it flashes blue 3 tomes and red and eric melts. They see earth water fire wind and it may open? Christina pressed fire and both died. We wake up in the throne room and Jayden Nathan and Leon are not there. The island was made by mages and all died except for uther. People who jumped go camping and they cough a fish. Snow is down there. We go to the mines. Someone made a water umbrella.Luke presses water and everyone dies except eliana. Eliana presse earth first, and then wind, and then she pressed both left and she died. They hear wolves and they howl back. We press water and we die. We press fire and everyone is killed, Hannah presses earth and wins and I press fire and it glows green. We push water and the door opens. Snow attacks Nathan and gets chomped by a dragon. Snow notices a duck and says IT'S ME, MARIO. He got healed 3 harm. We get into the purple badana place and we say hi. Hannah says we come in peace. A miner asks us how we got in and we say magic and guess.

Inside, I knew I would never be forgiven for this if I was home. But these people have become my family now, and for the sake of the mission, I must rob the bank. We started filing out of the cave in a single file line, carefully watching each and every step. As we made it back to the unarmed trap one of the PBs (Purple Bandanas) stepped forward. Magic seemed to have erupted from his fingertips, trailing into the air. “There, the trap is unarmed. Just in case, “ he told us. I was so nervous, and I never dreamed of robbing a bank. It’s a crime, and back home, even the littlest crimes have huge punishments. I would be disgraced from my family, and would live as a peasant for the rest of my life. I shuttered. I prayed that this would go well, and when I tell them, they will know I did the right thing. We approached the bank, and Rufus laid out the plan. “Here,” he said, holding out the bomb. “I’m going to roll the bomb in front of the bank, and it should create a small, directional explosion at the front of the bank. That should be enough for us to sneak past. We intend to yell something like, ‘ Attention! This is a robbery!’ to the people in the marketplace. Got it?” We glance at each other, knowing that the bomb would fail. Hannah spoke up and we ended up getting ten minutes to find the thing they wanted or else they would use the bomb. “What are we looking for, exactly?” Hannah asked. “I don’t know,” Rufus replied. “ The only thing I’m sure of is that it’s supposed to help us fix the arcane engine. “ Hannah walked over to us and

whispered, “The shadow gave him the bomb. It was a set up! We need to find the thing he wants…” We arrive at the bank, and our team quickly gets to work. Judy used my old plan, and Rebecca let us into the volt. The journal sat in the middle of the room, on a pedestal. As we searched around, it lifted off the stool and landed in front of the shadow. “I didn’t see you sir. How can I help you?” Rebecca asked, stunned. “Thanks, but I’m done here. I have everything I need.” the shadow stated, glaring at Judy as he walked out the room. As he exited from the main entrance, we heard the PBs go, “Oh! That’s the bomb dude!” and our suspicions were confirmed. Through the window, I saw the shadow say the word “Soon,” looking towards the mage’s tower. He sank into the ground and disappeared. On the other hand, Rufus was shaking, as the bomb was in his hands. Hannah attempted to throw it away, but instead it exploded. “Take cover!” I heard somebody yell. I ducked under the fountain, and successfully shielded myself. The others, however, weren’t very lucky. Only me and one other emerged without any bruises.As soon as we recollected, we knew where we had to go. The arcane room. Rufus led us there, climbing up the stairs. At the top, the shadow stared into the fireplace, muttering, “Ah. So you chose to join me. What a pleasure.” Luke walked up to him, and said, “Master Shadow, I would like to join you. I have very valuable information to provide,” and sat over next to the adversary. “Yes, yes… The time loop has mde justice much smoother,” the shadow responded. “Who are you?” someone asked. “Who, me? After all these years, wouldn’t you want revenge?

Revenge on someone who betrayed you, and took pride in it? You see, I am the shadow of Pentigas. Uther’s old friend. “ he replied, grimacing at the word friend. I immediately realized where I remembered that from. The journal. It referred to Pentigas as Vex’alia’s uncle. Not related, but extremely close. It says he was killed in a duel, which is not surprising. A purple beam of light erupted from the room, and the shadow grinned, “You are about to watch justice, my friend.” Just then, Uther and Vex’alia appeared. They performed a series of charms, and Vex’alia turned to us. “Good. It seems you have made progress here. Find me in the next loop!” she echoed, and then her soul was sucked out. “NOOOOOOO!” Uther bellowed. “How DARE you, Pentigas!” The shadow just chuckled, and Uther delivered his last remark, seconds before the crash. “Find me in the next loop, and say the word Pentigas!” Loopity loop loop. We are back, again. Luckily, Vex’alia seemed to have regained most of her soul, some parts still weary. “Whatever my father told you to do, go do it.” she demanded, weakly. Gideon came in, performing the same things as usual. Judy prepared to leave, and GIdeon said, “ Wait! Don’t leave, you’re like my favourite so far!” What just happened? How is Gideon in the loop? “Gideon,” Judy asked,” What did you just say? Are you in the loop?” “Well, yes, I guess I am. You see, I’ve been pretending to do the same thing every day, so you wouldn't notice. When the other ones left, I wasn’t too upset. They were, well, psycho.” Wow. I can’t believe we pulled Gideon into this mess. “ But please, don’t leave. You’re like, awesome!” he pleaded. Vex’alia decided to give us a

quick transport, and we were levitating in the air. “Gideon, some music please.” she requested, and Gideon went on with his fiddle dee dee. We stopped at Uther’s tower, and knocked. “Oh! What do you need, sweetheart? Why are there so many of you?’ Vex’alia cringed at ‘sweetheart’ and we did our job. “Pentigas,” we yelled, in unison. In the next few minutes, we spent some time explaining what was happening, until his memory fully recovered. “Ah, yes… I remember.” he finally admitted. We search the bookshelves, finding many copies of the diary from the bank. The older the book became, the more details were inside. Vex’alia scanned the room, weary from memories. Suddenly, she seemed to realize something and cast a spell. “Seriously, father? A memory charm?” Uther looked down, disappointed. “I remember, okay? Leave me and my memories alone. She retorted. From the window, we see the PBs running to the bank. “Now,” Vex’alia stated. We need to fix the arcane engine. Running, we return to the arcane room. “Vex’alia, how will you repair it? Uther questioned. “Oh, must have been one of the things I taught you. She replied,” No, father, it was something dear old uncle Pentigas taught me.” That seemed to shut him up, as not a word was uttered afterwards. The gentle sound of gears clicking becomes louder., and then calms down again. She nodded to us, and said,” There, the engine is fixed. Now, we must do our best to create the perfect loop next time. A single error could be costly. I will meet you in the throne room.” The loop started again, but when we woke up Vex’alia brushed her wand, making symbols in the air, then, it was slashed by a red line. She nervously told us, “Checkpoint broken. We are out of the loop.”

As Uther left the room, I tried my best to not go through his stuff. However, I didn’t last long, as my curiosity started to overwhelm me. Walking towards an old-looking bookshelf, I carefully started running my fingers against the dusty spines of the books. Slightly distracted, I hadn’t realized at first the name of Vex’alia on the spines of a few. As they caught my eye, I pulled one out, and started eyeing it. I then pulled all the other ones out, a little bit too vigorously , and realized that all of the books were identical to the one in the bank. Bewildered at first, I slowly started flipping through the pages, who seemed to be practically falling apart, and yellowed like Uther’s teeth. After a few moments, I hadn’t realized Vex’alia was staring at me, with her hand open as if she was asking for one of the books. Slightly flustered, I handed it over, hoping my face didn’t turn red from the embarrassment. As she herself started creeping through the pages, she seemed disappointed, shaking her head as she continued. She then suddenly clapped the book shut, and looked at me strangely before starting to mix a bunch of powders situated in the room. Startled by her behavior, I realized that I had been staring at her the entire time she was looking through the pages. My blood started to rush to my cheeks, as I tried to make sure nobody noticed how red my face was. Turning back my attention to Vex’alia, I saw that she was standing in the middle of a purple mist, as she was inhaling it quite aggressively. I started hearing footsteps coming from the hallway as she was doing so, getting louder and louder as they approached the room more and more. As Uther came back into the room, the two started bickering with each other, to which I didn’t pay much attention to if I was being honest. Their father-daughter relationship was difficult, that I knew, so I tried not to bother while assisting it. After a few more moments, they ended up stopping. Vex’alia then went up to the large window, and said that she needed to go to the arcade engine to fix it once and for all.

Uther’s Secret As I wake up the next morning I am quite cheerful, remembering that I am no longer part of the loop. I move towards the bathroom *AKA the bush* and I quickly do my business. I exit just in time to hear Snow scream “ AHHHHH I HATE MY LIFE WHYYYYY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SO UNLUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I walk close and see him scratching himself like crazy. He must’ve touched poison ivy I think as I approach and quickly and quietly I cast a spell. Snow stops screaming and slowly calms down. I quickly move back to camp and I start feeling confident. I slowly sneak up to Nathan and scream “MAY YOU BE HEALED!!!” . Instead of a green magical healing circle blasting him, I blast him with a magic laser. It blows a hole through him and he screams. Leon quickly comes to and attempts to

heal him. Insead he also blows a magical laser into Nathan. Snow runs up and casts a magical healing spell. Nathan is lucky this time and he gets healed. We breathe a sigh of relief, and we climb our way up into a small village nearby. We make our way into the village. I walk around looking for things to rob and see a giant ax. I use my magic with leon to grab that ax, but sadly it cut my arm off. D:

We all woke up and wanted to travel and explore so the first was go pee, while peeing I think Nathan ate some poison ivy and got sick so while walking towards the city we kept on trying to heal him but we ended up almost killing him. On the way there we noticed that many people were leaving and it looked like they were scared or something bad was happening so I thought we might as well just check it out while we were there. Once we got there I realized that there was barely anyone there, it was like a ghost town but also this was the town we came to before we went on the island. So we went to the tavern that we went to when we were still chasing the mysterious man and we started to talk to the owner, he said that every couple hours or more a big chunk of rock would fall from the sky and after it hit the ground it would go piece itself together as if someone reversed time, he also said that everyone was leaving just

to be safe because they didn't want to be hit by a falling rock or something. The fact that everyone was leaving gave us the idea to steal everything so we ran outside and did a bit of magic,one person ran around stealing everything he could while me and (bruh me forgot ) casted a spell that made everything valuable to come to us. After a minute or two we saw a bunch of things flying towards us. There was some good stuff and cool weapons but they suddenly became dangerous because they were trying to get to us so I swifty dodged an incoming axe and went to hide. Luke We have died many times and yet we have done it again. We are following the purple bandit guys. We followed Rufus into the bank to attempt to do a bank heist. We were to throw a bomb to cause a diversion. We stopped Rufus from using the bomb because it seemed incredibly fishy. We approached the bank and we saw the shadow man just walk out. He casually walked out of the bank with nothing in his hands and melted away. Just then the bomb in Rufus’ hand started to beep. We tried to get rid of it but it exploded in front of our eyes and it did a lotta damage to us. We ran towards where we thought the shadow man was and we found him. I asked who he was. He turned towards the crowd and spoke. He was a powerful wizard or at least a shadow. He had died many, many years ago but he was now here again. Just then Vex’ alia appeared with Uther at her side. I watched as a shadow was sucked out of Vex' alia body. It looked gruesome. Uther resisted the force of the shadow sucking Vex’ alia but just then the arcane engine broke and the whole kingdom fell yet again. We woke up in the throne room and followed Vex’ alia to Uther. We went up the tower and spoke the code word to Uther and he realised that he wanted to destroy this shadow. Uther left us at this tower to do whatever we wanted. Vex’ alia started reading a book that had her name on it. She read and figured out that Uther had memory wiped her and she learned how to fix the arcane engine from a memory spell that she cast on herself. We fixed the engine and now that we did so, Vex’ alia stopped the loop and now we can actually die but we could also save this city.

Nathan Today, we woke bright and early and expected to be in the loop, but no. We got out of the loop.We walked, and then got to Brixton. We saw the castle fall on the town, then rebuild itself. But, something was weird. It took us weeks to get to Axandria, while it was just on top of Brixton. WHAAAAAAT? Then, it took like half an hour to heal me. Story Line I’m getting sick and tired of this loop. Every time we die, we respawn. We have to restart everything, but at least we’re invincible during the loop because if we die, then we just respawn. We start in the throne room (just as always) and we make our way out of it. We remember a few things. Vex'alia is in the loop too, and we meet a guy who we remember wanted to make a bank heist. I can also remember that the bomb isn’t a directional bomb so it’ll blow up the entire bank. We try to tell him that but he doesn't believe us and blows up the entire bank. After that, we were still on the island, but we needed to leave it to get to the arcane engine. So we decided to end the loop when we left the island. But escaping the island was the problem. It was in the air. So we basically just rolled down the cliff like we just don't care. We ended up ending the loop and now, if we die, then there’ll be no tomorrow

As the truth settled in, that there would be no more chances for mistakes, you could tell all of us were nervous. Our other members who left the island came back to help us. We all stood in the throne room, as Vex’alia told us, “ This time is for real. One mistake could make this go wayward. Be careful, for this is your last chance to prove your valor to the kingdom.” Though the king and Ro’en looked especially confused, the bade us good luck and we started to walk out. Just as we took a step, the king yelled, “Wait!” We turned back to see them shaking their heads, as Ro’en asked, “How many times have you done this before? Stay away from my husband!” I quickly realized that they were remembering the loops, Ro’en referring to the murder attempt stupidly performed by whom Gideon called the ‘physco people’. Vex’alia whispered gently, striving to calm down the king and his husband. Suddenly, Gideon’s voice emerged from the hallway. “Fi dee dee di di di di dee!” he sang, without reading the room. “Oh. Are we doing this, for real? Well, then, let’s get ready!” he exclaimed, trying to cheer us up. “So, what’s the plan?” Glancing around, we realized we hadn’t really prepared one. So, we compiled a list of things we had to fix and split up into groups. The first option was to fix the bank robbery, which I chose to do. Other options were the arcane engine, and getting Uther to cooperate. Also, a couple went to the market to scout around.Just then, a ghost appeared in the hallway. “Hello… I’m sorry to disturb you, but my name is Pentigas.”

Everyone drew out their weapons, ready for attack any moment. “Wait! Please. I’m not who you think I am. Just let me explain.” We carefully lowered our weapons, and waited for him to speak. “You see, when people die they go to the afterlife,and some manage to land in the ethereal plain. After Uther butchered us in the duels, all of us were sent there due to our everlasting power. In the ethereal, your power stays with you, though it may be weaker. Uther knew, so he came there to hunt us as well. You see, I was the only to escape the plain, but upon it foreshadowed a terrible curse. Fragments of my power left me, and entered the shadows, which you are hunting. There were hundreds, leaving me no power to spare. They were given one goal: to destroy Uther, the mage who was responsible for my death. You see, after 200 years, I have forgave Uther and watched Vex’alia grow.” Pentigas looked over at Vex’alia with watery eyes, though the sorceress avoided his gaze. “I have learned that watching 2 people who were so close to me blossom into healthy people was better than seeking revenge. So, I forgave him, and watched from the afterlife. But of course, my shadows are bewitched and would never have the ability to forgive, as without that goal they would be soulless. That is why I hired this group of adventurers to hunt them down. Please forgive my selfishness, as now I am only here to help explain things. I apologize that I am not able to help you, because after what happened to Uther, I do not think that that would be the right idea.” He paused for a moment, giving us a chance to think. So Pentigas himself hired us? Questions came bouncing out of my head, but Pentigas seemed to have one more thing to say. “My dear vex’alia, How are you? It

has been so long,” He said, with a gentle smile. At that moment, Vex’alia couldn’t contain herself and was wrapped into a tight hug. “You have grown so tall, and so humble, just like your mother long ago.” Vex’alia finally said, “We must go now, before it's too late. PLease split up and meet outside, near the bridge. Gideon led us through the hallway and we went to our first stop : Tom, the drunken man. This was up to the turnip, who gleefully turned into a duck. He quacked, “Make me bigger! Make duck bigger!” Our other teammate conjured some magic and he turned 6 ft tall, which was somehow not satisfactory to the now duck. He swooped in and wrapped Tom under his arm, flying around for a little fun. On his back, Tom shouted, “Oh! It’s everything I ever wanted! Yee-haw, ducky!” The duck let him down, and our first mission was checked off the list. From there, we split up into our groups. Celina and I head down to the cave, where we were going to stop the bank robbery. I told her about my idea, which was to arm the trapped tile before the PBs came out, so it would explode on them. She agreed, but suggested making the trap less lethal, so we go with that. As we arrived at the hill, we quickly armed the trap with light magic and sat behind the buses to wait. Over the shrub, I could see the Arcane and Uther group running towards the tower, eager to start. I wondered what it would be like after all this is done, and months of work and bonding is complete. As time passed by, I thought about my family at home. I missed them, that’s for sure, but at the same time leaving the people I spent months working with has a downside as well. Celina whispered to me, “Shh! They're coming!”

The PBs walked out, as Tom ran down the hill. “Hey guys, did I miss anything?” he said, stepping on our armed trap. Shoot. That was not meant to happen! Tom was stuck, and the PB’s said “Good luck, tom!” and went back inside. At least they went back in. Maybe they won’t rob the bank after all. We try to help Tom, him refusing and insisting it would be fine. “ You see? Everything is under co-” A small explosion erupted and Tom is thrown backwards, beaten up. At least he can’t go back to the PBs anymore. Celina and I stayed on the hill, making sure the PB’s didn’t come out. Sure enough, they do, but walk towards the arcane engine instead. The second thing is ticked off the list, our job complete. We decided to head after the PBs, and joined the arcane and Uther group. As we walked in, we saw Uther, Vex’alia and the other crewmates trying to fix the engine. The PBs seemed to recognize Uther, and asked what he was doing. Uther glared, and continued to cast his spell. “Ohhh… You're fixing it!” The leader of the group figured out. “Well, no need to rob the bank. Party time!” They left, and we were left alone in the room. “BOOM!” A large explosion went off in the marketplace. Luckily, our best fighters were on the scene and fought off the creature quite easily. Suddenly, the ceiling collapses in the arcane room and lands straight on Judy. We pulled her out of the rubble, and immediately rushed over to the marketplace. Uther and Vex’alia joined us as soon as the engine was fixed. Celina uses her vial of vitality to heal Judy, who wakes up in a minute. In the marketplace, everyone seems to remember the loop and is shaking their heads, shouting and looking for loved ones. Ro’en came towards us, and began

checking off the things we saved. “Let’s see, how can I thank you enough? You saved our kingdom and my husband. Here, you can take this.” He throws a bag of coins in front of us, labeled $3000. Our pockets felt heavy, as gold magically appeared inside. “ I am extremely grateful for your service, and wish you good luck in your next adventure!” Uther, listening behind us, said, “Umm… I just have to stop a potion I was brewing… Not a big deal!” His actions completely contradicted his words as he ran back to the tower. Then, the duck started running to the end of the cliff. Gideon asked, “Where is the duck guy going?” as he grew 10x his size, and gracefully flew off into the distance.

Epilogue Two years later Sure enough, Arwen pursued her dreams and became a huntress, studying at

Beacon Academy. She designed her own weapon, a bow with arrows that can magically have the tip of the arrow transformed to become one of the 4 elements. She made friends, assigned as the leader of her team. Once a year, ‘the adventurers’ would meet up and talk, the duck growing bigger each year. At home, all was well. Her parents had a baby boy and named him Elrond, after the former king who recently passed away. She visited once a month, and was always happy to see the border of Rivendell. Eventually, she grew out of teenhood and got married and had a child. She lived 30 happy years as the professor of magic arts at Beacon, until she retired and

stayed at home. At what is considered normal for an elf, she died at the age of 112 and lived happily forever after.

While heading towards the Mage’s tower, I was thinking carefully about what I’d say once arrived. At first hesitant, I decided to not mention where the Shadow would be located if he asked the question. I had to make sure Uther didn’t explode the bank, as that would ruin our mission of creating a perfect loop. After a few more moments, still focused on what to say, I felt a sudden pain in my forehead as I felt a hard thing slammed against my face. Startled, I realized we had already arrived at the destination. A wall that seemed quite opposing itself was standing right in front me. A habit of mine it seemed, slamming into walls unintentionally. Rubbing my temples, I slowly looked up at the tall tower, in which it’s appearance never failed to take my breath away. As I was contemplating it a little longer, I suddenly heard the voice of another Keeper resonating in the field. My head still throbbing, I jumped a little when I heard her voice. Bringing my attention back to real matters, I suddenly felt a little strange sensation in my stomach. Although struck by the beauty of the tower, my panic didn’t subside one little bit. As I tried to calm myself down, I could hear Uther’s voice coming from above. The moment I looked up to see him, there was already a door in front of us. Slowly, I entered one of the rooms inside. A wave of warmth struck me the moment I did. Squinting my eyes, I tried to find Uther in the room, but only did once his voice penetrated the small silence. As the other Keeper started to discuss with him, I only ended paying half of my attention to their discussion. It was only when Uther asked where the Shadow was when I barged into the conversation. A little bit too loud, I immediately yelled no to his face, as I saw the other keeper open her mouth to talk. Embarrassed, I prayed my face didn’t turn red. I’ve always hated the fact I get flustered so easily ever since I was a kid. When I finally looked up, I couldn’t quite understand the expression he had on his face. I looked away the moment we hit eye contact, and he turned his attention back to the other Keeper. A few moments later, we ended up leaving for the arcade engine, where we saw some other fellow Keepers. While trying to figure out how to fix the engine, I suddenly heard some footsteps resonating behind me. As I turned around along with a few others who had noticed, I could see the Four Purple Mask walking towards. As I looked more attentively, I noticed that they seemed to be hiding something, which aroused my curiosity. However, I didn’t have to wait long before they ended up drawing a bunch of weapons, and aiming them towards us. Paralyzed, I stayed there, in a state of shock, for a few moments. As I saw that they were coming closer and closer, I tried to find a way to at least delay the threat a little longer. Panicked, I took a while before taking out my elemental stone from my pocket. Heavy because of the amount of stress I was feeling, I touched the wind icon. Immediately, a gust of wind came flying out, preventing the bandits to take a step further.

I’m just here telling the story because I have to. Anyway... Shannon had just been hit and almost died but been saved, thank you. Home time! Who needs to go on an airplane when you can just fly!? Ok just kidding it would take the airplane 14 hours, so how was Shannon going to fly non-stop without food? First class ride it was. Since she was NEVER going to see these people again, she decided to pay business class for the boys and first class for the girls. When they arrived home, Shannon’s wings and her magic were gone. The potion’s side effects we're gone, YAY! Back to her VERY safe mansion and her best friend Colette. Ahhh time to relax for the rest of her life.

Me and everyone on the ground were still magically stealing from everyone when Nathean screamed that he felt a hand on his shoulder. We all went to check it out but no one was there, we went back to stealing the things and everything was fine until Nathan felt something touch him again. I saw Nathan cast a spell but then someone just appeared out of thin air and laughed, we all shouted until it wasn't really scary anymore and we asked who he was, he said that his name was (bruh I forgot so his name now is john) John. He explained that when he died he created two ghosts to haunt someone down until he died but after a while he forgave his murderer but he had no way to stop his ghosted so that's why he hired us

Luke Well you could say that this was the perfect loop. We saved many more lives than we did in precious loops among those saved lives were ourselves because this was truly the perfect loop. We woke up in the throne room and this time the Icewall didn’t fall. We had to save this kingdom now because we would have no more attempts after this loop. I rushed towards the arcane engine to try to fix it so the whole kingdom wouldn’t go crashing down again. There we encountered Uther and told him all he needed to know leaving out a few details. We got straight to repairing the engine. I conjured some magic in my hands and started the process. A few minutes in the purple mask guys stormed in talking about why not to destroy the arcane engine. We tried to reason with them that we were trying to fix it but they were convinced that we were trying to destroy it instead so they charged but before they could reach us, the richest companion out of all of us smacked the support of the hallway and the building came crashing down on her and the purple mask guys. Some of the purple mask guys ran out of the building alive but scathed. However the really rich one didn’t. We used the vial of vitality to revive her later. As she was healed we finished repairing the arcane engine. Now we are free from the loop. We have loads of money and are free to do whatever we want to do. This adventure has been dangerous but I laugh in the face of danger. I think I adventure off instead of settling down. This will be interesting…

Story Line I really want to end this loop. We can’t end it because then the entire land will blow up because we didn’t fix the arcane engine. So we have to fix the arcane engine AND do all the things we did in the other loop or else it’ll all go wrong. So we say our goodbyes and we set off to do our job. I went with some other people to fix the arcane engine because I'm the kind of person that wants to be the big hero for some reason. We fixed the arcane engine just a smidge before it was going to blow up. And we saved the land of Alexandria. What will I do now? You ask, well, I kind of like this place. It’s so lively, so I decide to stay here for a bit. Doing casual things like playing League of Legends and Valorant. So, I guess that puts this story to an end. But I hope there’ll be some more action in this life.
