Forward BY MATT THOMPSON This story was written by an absoluterly wonderful class of Grade 5 and 6 english literature students during the CoVid-19 lockdown. We constructed a story together over several weeks of online classes and at times let dice decide the outcomes of some narrative decisions. Students wrote feverishly after each session to document their characters achievements and hardships. What follows is a story we are very proud of.

Chapter 1 Scales
It is a snowy night in Specter, Ontario. A woman’s car breaks down, she steps out to fix her car because there is no telephone access in this town. She is taken by … something. Early in the morning at Diefenbaker labs, there is a bunch of police patrolling it. Last night one of their experiments ran away killing a whole team of scientists in the process. The experiment was a dinosaur/boy. This boy’s name is Scales, he is currently outside the door of the lab. He pushes his luck and tries to get out. A police officer immediately talks to him. He is lucky so he just manages to get out. He flees into the forest. Breeze received a phone call from an old friend, she lives in Oakville, Ontario. That person tells her to go to Specter, Ontario fast. She drives there the next morning with her dog Jet and stays in her old family cabin in specter. She unpacks her groceries. Oscar is woken up by a phone call by “somebody”. He knows that it is special because there is no cell phone service in Specter, only small walkie talkie-like calls. He heads out to Diefenbaker labs and sees a bunch of dead scientists. Later that day, he meets Breeze in a coffee shop called Everyday mornings. Everyday mornings is run by a guy named Joe. Oscar tells Breeze about the mysterious break from the Diefenbaker labs. Breeze invites him to come to dinner later at her cabin. Breeze was driving to the cabin when she suddenly hit a dinosaur. She watches in shock as the dinosaur turns into a boy. She takes him and throws him into her family’s oubliette. Dark is Breeze’s childhood friend. Breeze invites her to meet. Dark knows that she has magical powers, she can read minds, use telepathy, and more. The pair travel to Breeze’s cabin. Dark begins to eat food from Breeze’s fridge. But Dark sees blue sparkling blood, nobody else can see it. Does it seem to be leading to their basement?
Breeze invited Dark to her cabin. Dark accepted. But as soon as Dark came into the cabin, she started to eat all Breeze’s food. Suddenly, they see a car parked on the driveway, two people come out. The two people were named Tom and Tina, they had a broken down car and a sense of fear in their eyes. “We had a sense that there was something following us wherever we went,” Tina said, “We kept going into hiding but the car broke down, can you offer us some shelter?” “Yes of course,” Breeze said. Breeze told Dark about the Dinosaur who she crashed that turned back into a boy, Dark expected it to be something like that. Right after that, Oscar said that he was going to come over to the cabin, Breeze was panicked because Oscar might have found Scales out! Dark wanted to be a help so she hexed Oscar, it failed and the hex accelerated Oscar instead. Breeze went to check on Scales, but while she was on the porch, she dropped the key without noticing. Oscar came to the cabin fast and found the key on the porch. He decided to keep it. Breeze decided to make dinner, after a few minutes, it was done. Tom and Tina thought that something was fishy, so they hatched a plan to go to the oubliette. During dinner, Tom and Tina started distracting everybody,. Tina pretended to be sick and went to go find medicine. Tina went into the oubliette and found Scales. After lunch, Oscar thanked Breeze and then headed out to his car.
Oscar was in his car, he heard some noises… “AHHHH!” this massive, white glowing dog starts to attack relentlessly. Meanwhile, Dark was positioned at the fridge, she heard all the commotion but decided to ignore it. Oscar had no help, all he could do was fight back. Oscar tried to attack the monster but failed, he was knocked out. Tom and Tina heard some noises, they decided to make their way out of the guest room. Scales seeing the key to his cage
successfully breaks out, he is free! Breeze runs out of the cabin, she sees a giant dog attacking Oscar. Breeze immediately gets a canoe paddle and whacks the dog. Dark sees that everybody is gone and finally got out of the cabin and threw water at the dog which was pointless. Scales said hello to the dog, the dog had a slight sense of recognition. Suddenly, a loud whistle rang out, and the dog ran away. Scales wanted to follow the dog as well but Tom and Tina restrained him and dragged him back to the cabin.
Scales was being dragged into the cabin by Tom and Breeze, he did not want to go inside. Scales attempted to break free but Breeze and Tom held, he decided to punch Tom in the face, he got dragged into the cabin. Scales wanted to go outside and Breeze tried to stop him, Scales punched Breeze but got hit back by Breeze. There were 3 unstable people in the cabin, Breeze called the ambulance.”Hello?” said the ambulance “I got 3 people that are hurt right now,” said Breeze “How did you get hurt?” “A monster attacked us” “Oh, I see, the party got out of control, right?” “Can you just come?” “OK, we will be there in about 21 minutes”. 21 minutes later, the ambulance went up the driveway, they saw 2 broken down cars, “the party must have been pretty wild,” they thought.
The door was knocked then opened by Breeze “hello, glad to see you, those guys need to be treated”. The first ambulance, Bob went to Dark who was raiding the fridge, the second ambulance, Joe went to Scales who was doing nothing at all, Oscar was left alone *cries*. Dark and Bob were talking about the monster, Scales was not responding to any of Joe’s questions, “He doesn't like to talk,” said Breeze. Oscar, Dark, and Scales got put into the ambulance truck, “If you see the monster again, use this beeper,” said Joe to Breeze. During the ride, Dark saw white fur “AHHHHHHHHH!!!”, the dog burst into the door. Scales was so happy that he hugged the dog, the dog hugged back with love. The truck made a hard turn, and after that, there was a whistling sound and Joe was dragged away by the dog.
Breeze came to the truck and wanted to fight, Dark joined and Scales and Oscar stayed in the truck. Breeze sounded the beeper, they followed the dog into a cave where there were a very tall man and the dog. Dark attacked the dog with a fireball, the dog glared at them. The tall man pointed at them, the dog sprung at them. Dark threw fireball #2, the dog was knocked out. Dark and Breeze ran away and hid in a bush, the man walked right past them. Suddenly, Breeze’s beeper began to beep, Breeze knew that
the man was not truly gone so she threw the beeper away. They went back to the cabin. Breeze and Dark were sitting in the cabin when they suddenly heard scratching noises outside the cabin. Dark opened the door and the man was there to attack! However, Dark was faster and quickly shot a stream of fire into the man’s face. The man was turned to ash. Scales was left in the ambulance truck, he wanted to look around for medical supplies. Scales found some liquids, he thought for a moment. Scales took the “medicine”, he did not feel good at all. The ambulance came and took Scales and Dark.
The ambulance came and took Scales and Dark. Breeze went away and was going to pick them up the next day. The next day, Breeze came to pick them up from the hospital. Scales medical info was missing…
Later that day, a mysterious man named Agent Caldwell said they had to meet‌
Breeze, Scales, Dark, and Oscar went to a secret location all wearing handcuffs. They met with Agent Caldwell and several others. Agent Caldwell said that he knew about all of them and their abilities. He wanted to celebrate them with some coffee. Only Breeze accepted the coffee, she drank a lot of the coffee. But later they found out that Agent Caldwell wasn’t drinking the coffee. It was poison! Breeze started to feel very ill. They immediately ran away from the meeting. Agent Caldwell suddenly became alarmed and slowly grew taller and grew horns. Agent Caldwell was a demon! Scales suddenly started to become a dinosaur, Agent Caldwell threw an electric net on him. Scales starts to suffer but he starts breaking the net. The group hijacked a van and ran away.
The group was driving furiously down the road but saw that there were a bunch of black vans chasing them. Scales wanted to fight them but failed, he became very injured. Breeze felt very sick because of the poison, she could not fight. Breeze said that she’d rather drive than fight so she switched positions with Dark. Meanwhile, Scales was being continuously hit by the vans, Dark levitated the vans giving Scales just enough time to escape. Scales was hiding in the forest nearby but realized that the vans were moving closer, he could not fight. But suddenly Breeze swung on a rope to bring him back to safety.
Chapter 2 Breeze
Spectre On (my characters prescriptive) Eesta (Breez) The phone rings very early (3am) a sleepy agent (Oscar) answers the phone and goes to a breakout at a lab. (Not part of my character’s parts, but still important!) Dear diary, I (Breez) was out jogging with my dog Jet until my agent friend Oscar called, “Hello? Is this you, Oscar?” I asked. “Yes.” “If you're calling I’m guessing this is important so see you at Ordinary Mornings, we will talk then” I said. After 3 hours of driving with Jet, I arrived at Spectre, when I got to Ordinary Mornings I was “greeted” by Jo, a worker at the place. When I found Oscar he looked as if he had not slept all night. “Hey Oscar, you look like you went to a lab break out and did not get much sleep.” “How do you know?” “Well…” “Welcome back Breez!!!” Jo yelled. “I gotta go Oscar, come over to my place tomorrow?” I asked. “Ok” said Oscar. I went to my summer cabin with some supplies but before I got to my cabin I think I hit a monster but before I got a good look it turned into a boy. I dragged him into my cabin and threw him into a box that has magic properties, what a night! Jet is asleep IN the car >:(, and I… Who’s that? A very badly damaged car pulls up and two people get out. I’m gonna talk with them and then get some sleep tomorrow I have to visit an old summer friend. The next day I drove with a few things on minds remembering that I still have two people in my CABIN!!! Anyway I was gonna visit my old friend Dark, I got to her apartment and we had a little chit chat and I asked her if she wanted to come over to my place she said yes and when we were on our way back Jet just had to sit on her! I mean come on! I put the two people in a room and showed Dark the kid (Scales) I found (I hit), we gave him a sandwich and kept him locked in the dark. Oscar will be here in three hours so we started cleaning but then he arrived in an hour and a half… HOW?!?! I greeted Oscar and us 5 had dinner. When Oscar left I saw that the key to the trapped door to the monster kid was missing. Whoever has it has to give it back. Hey! Is Dark raiding my fridge!?!? I think we were making a lot of noise, but when I looked outside Oscar’s car was still there. I went to take a look and thenI found the key! I also took Oscar’s car keys and went inside. Then everything happened so quick so the next thing I knew we (all SIX) were battling a giant fluffy monster. After the battle I called the ambulance and told them we just had a battle. They asked if we were drinking (who do they think they are! I don’t drink!), but any way they came, I was given a buzzer and the ambulance was attacked by the same monster but this time it also ran back into the forest and for being very stupid me and Dark followed. We battled it and killed its “owner” and more ambulances came and took everyone except Benny and Tina (the 2 people in the rundown car) and me. When I came back from the hospital after checking on them, Oscar’s car was gone and so were the 2 “roommates”.
 Lately things have gone wrong so much, I got a message from my old friends who are now like the message said in Paris, they said they think they are encountering Yoshi. I sent them a message in response but I didn’t get an answer, I started to worry so I sent another.  My days at Spectre aren’t going as I thought they were, we’re facing a giant daemon two of my friends are unstable, I was pulled back by an invisible hand, Oscar and I were close to being set on fire! By the time your (anyone) reading this we’re on our way to the hospital AGAIN after the fight at Ordinary Mornings coffee shop. Till next time.   Wow! I think this is the most stupid thing I’ve ever done, we snuck out to the pharmacy and guess what! My friend Dark, triggered the security and then we had that to deal with, we also freed some monsters, and what appeared to be an angel, told us we needed to leave immediately, but my friends (Dark and Scales), wanted to free all the monsters, ok I’m good hearted and all but the warning freaked me out, while quietly freaking out, they opened another, and guess who or what came out! Benny and Tina! Seeing them, I wanted to scream, then yell at them for running away and not saying anything! While I left the building with Benny and Tina, as Dark and Scales opened the rest of the contaminant jars. Soon Dark and Scales‌ Wait! Where’s Scales? Dark came out but not Scales, you know at this point I feel like we’re gonna have to battle again‌ . Bummer‌ Ps, I think we’re cursed, (I mean bad things alway happen to us! [Me and Oscar specifically!])! Pss, I got a response from my friends who are in Paris! They gave me a holly fork, and a holly sword! Psss, I think I’m hearing voices again (and I’m the only one that hears them, I think I should stop talking out loud)... Pssss, I blew up a water plant with my old friends ( in the past)‌  It’s official, I’m cursed, I got bit by a vampire, I spun a wheel, escaped a giant fire, and got bit by the snake head of the manticore! How can things get any worse! Ps, I now know what Dark has to deal with every day, not a pleasant experience! Pss, I think my blood tastes horrible (remember I got bit by the vampire, he said so himself).  I freed an old guy who used to be friends with my parents, and talking to him, I’m thinking my parents are still alive! Am I bratty? The demon said I was, I think this will be my last entry, I also think Jet (my dog) was given to protect me, it’s just a thought, I killed the demon with my holly sword, and I have some pretty bad lines, and I think I am cursed. Well it’s been “funâ€? talking about my trip at good old Specter, who knows what I have installed in my future, all I know is that no matter how dark things get there’s always a light, and besides, how bad can things get especially with friends? Â

Chapter 3 Dark
Ima HUMAN
Prologue Somewhere in Specter On, BREAKING NEWS, Experiment has escaped from Dieffenbaker Labs… The experiment was most likely to run into the woods… Contact Specter Labs if you see any suspicious activity. A girl has received a Phone call from an old friend and heads to Specter for a few days. Arriving at her family’s old cottage along with her dog “Jet”. Then she goes to get some groceries then stopping for coffee at a totally normal coffee shop run by Joe... When Arriving she meets a boy and invites him to dinner later that night. When driving the girl hits a raptor… The Raptor then transforms into a boy. The girl, thinking“What the heck is this thing?” and then brings it to her cabin/cottage and treats some of his injuries and locks it up in a cage and names it Scales… Deciding what she should do with the Creature she decides to go to her childhood friend who she remembers lived in Spector… Dark, a totally “normal” human[girl] that somehow just got a knock on the door on her door from a childhood friend named “Breeze”. I[Dark] asks what she needs and Breeze replies” Umm...I have an urgent matter that I need help with... ” Dark agrees to help after minutes of careful deliberation on whether she's trying to kidnap me or whatsoever… They head to Breeze's car which has a trail of sparkling blue blood… The two then drove to Breeze’s cottage with her dog Jet that was actually still in the car. Dark noticed the Blood was mostly on a dent on the car and there was trail blood that was inside the cottage as well… We headed into the cabin and Dark asked…”Did you run over something… perhaps some kind of creature...” She answers “Ehhhh...Kinda? How exactly did you know...” Dark answered… “Totally not some unknown power that I got... ” OvO. She then says “...Yes, I agree, it’s totally not some unknown ‘power’ knowing that we're talking in my head!. ”
Later, Dark then asked if she could see the dinosaur-human boy guy. Breeze agreed and then told me that the dino-boy had a name which was apparently “Scales''. Looking at Scales he looked kinda, well like a normal human child… Then Dark asked if she had any food, and she said yes… Dark went to the fridge she opened it and...and took out a sandwich and started to eat. UvU. 10 Minutes Later… Dark was still demonetizing Breeze’s Fridge, and did not realize Breeze triggered because Dark ate half of the food she just bought hours earlier… Suddenly Dark heard a dead car scrap on the road. Dark thought it off as Specter On is one weird heck of a town and continued eating. Breeze on the other hand looked Shocked and ran to the window to see twins walking toward the house. Breeze opened the door and asked if they needed anything and they responded if they could stay the night and Breeze agreed out of pity...They looked around the house and saw a human demonetizing the fridge and they looked at each other and proceeded with the tour. They then noticed a trap door and they asked Breeze what it was and she Studdered “That's just random room builders happen to make when building...''Breeze showed them to their room and then the phone rang. Breeze answered It was Oscar, the coffee shop boy whom Breeze had invited to dinner… Breeze looked as if she was going to die right then and there… Oscar said I’m coming over now…. And well Dark just happened to overhear and I decided to try and jinx Oscar's car.1 hour and 30minutes later Oscar arrives and Breeze looked confused since Oscar had originally said he was going to be coming in 2 hours. I continued to eat as I knew I accidentally made Oscar’s car speed up. Oscar arrived and we had dinner… Just by coincidence, dark overhears the twins Benny and Tina, thinking about breaking into the trap door basement thing… After dinner Dark decides to go to the fridge… Later Benny and Tina decide to break into the trapdoor,Dark still eating from the fridge doesn’t care and continues to eat… Tina then successfully locks the trapdoor open but makes a lot of noise picking it causing Breeze to wake up. Breeze coming downstairs,Tina jumps into the trapdoor and Benny shuts it closed… Breeze comes down to see Dark eating, and Benny just standing around… Suddenly Dark hears Oscar who is somehow outside thinking “I'm gonna dieeeee.!!”
Oscar… who is somehow outside gets ambushed by a white furry demon thing. He runs into the forest with the monster chasing him and gaining up as well… Dark hears what he was thinking but wants to continue eating…-v-... Oscar running around the whole forest ends up back in the car and tries to start his car… Unfortunately Oscar then realises he has the wrong key… The Monster creeping up on him pounces, Oscar attempts to fight it and ends up injured…[Tina] Tina who is hidden in Trapdoor looks around… In the pitch black room she sees a small figure moving, adjusting her eyes she sees a young boy trapped in a cage… She unlocked the cage and attempted to break free…Breeze hears something and runs outside grabbing a nearby object which happens to be a canoe paddle… She looks outside and sees a furry monster and whacks it causing it to tip over but the monster stands its ground and swipes Breeze. Breeze dodges but still gets scratched… Tina manages to break free from the trapdoor but forgets to unlock it… She runs to Benny and they go outside… Meanwhile Dark decides to look outside,doing so she brings a glass of water and throws it at the creature… “Wow, it did so much damage..” The creature attacks dark and Dark gets injured. Then while still injured Dark fires a blast of magic at the monster causing it to flee and then another creature comes which is black…(No offence) Scales comes out and seems to recognize the creatures and attempts to hug them. The Creatures resist and push scales away and somewhat injures him.Then grab a rock and smashes it on Dark’s head.. The creatures run away and Scales tries to run to but is restrained by Breeze and Oscar.
After the fight Breeze goes to call the ambulance or paramedics because she’s like the only one who’s alive and is not almost dead. Breeze then stabilizes Dark and Oscar, and Dark heads to the kitchen to eat the remaining food that Breeze just brought. Paramedics arrive and treat everyone's injuries. They ask Breeze if she wants to take everyone to the hospital and she says she agrees but only for check ups… They then go to the van and explain that more paramedics are coming and scales will go first and strap him up in the stretcher and drive off… five seconds later the van is attacked by the same monster and the van tipped over...The creature then set off running. I[Dark] then took out running and Breeze followed...The creature ran into the forest near Breeze’s Cottage while being followed by Breeze and Dark. Meanwhile Scales… Still strapped in the ambulance he had quite the injury when the monster attacked the car causing it to flip… He looks around and finds some medicine and bandages, he applies all of the meds and the bandages unknowing what they actually were and they don’t have any effect...
[Dark and Breeze] Dark and Breeze chased the monster into the woods. We followed the creature into its den and saw another creature inside the den. Dark[me] stood up and I had a bright idea to shoot magic at the creature. I managed to hit the creature and me and Breeze ran away. :> We ran into the forest and another creature started to chase us. Luckily we had a head start so we dove into the bushes and hoped that the creature didn’t see us. The creature passed us and came back to see if he missed us. The creature looked like he was going to go back but Breeze’s beeper started Beeping… She tried to mute it but she failed and we started for the cabin with the creature on our tails. As we headed out of the forest the creature had already gained up on us and was about to tackle us. Dark turned and headed in a different direction and the creature tackled Dark. She juked it out but ended up in a bad spot with the creature in between the cabin. Breeze who had reached the cabin tried to distract the creature and threw a lamp but missed. Dark with one idea in mind attacked it and shot a ball of ice. It hit the monster and it vanished… And we got to the house with no major injuries. Breeze than called the ambulance and we all went to the hospital.[Including Scales who was in the paramedics van...]
We arrived at the hospital and we all got healed. After we got healed Breeze left the hospital with Tina and Benny. The next day Dark got a call from an agent named Jack Caldwell. He said he wanted to work with us to ask a few questions. Scales had lost his Patient Chart which was [“Was”] attached to his bed. Breeze got a message from her friends in France. And finally Benny and Tina disappeared from Breeze's house along with their car.
After we recovered, Breeze came to the hospital and said Benny and Tina were missing. Later a black van arrived outside the hospital.A man comes out of the van and goes to our room for some reason. He introduced himself as Jack Caldwell, he mentioned his agency was the one who called us yesterday.. He said he wanted us to come to their hideout and so we did being dumb human beings. So we arrived at their hideout and they asked us some questions and they gave us some coffee. Scales didn’t like coffee and didn’t drink it, Dark knew they were poisoned and warned Breeze but she already drank it… They insisted on drinking the coffee but when Scales threw his cup at Caldwell he started to transform… He grew...horns...claws and started to look to look like a...demon. Scales started to transform and Dark threw her coffee at Caldwell and took Breeze and ran out with Oscar. Just when we stepped out an electrical net dropped on us, Oscar didn’t take any damage, Dark and Breeze took a slim amount of damage but Scales wasn’t so lucky. Dark, Breeze, and Oscar ran to the car ,Dark took the wheel and we started to drive. Scales transformed and managed to get free and followed our car, we then run out to the near road and started speeding away.
After we drove away along with Scales[Dino version], a few seconds later we saw a few black vans tailing us. Scales tried to attack them but he couldn’t take them off balance and was hit. We drove into the forest hoping no one would follow us.Breeze took some damage getting poisoned, but still managed to steal the wheel from Dark. She turned us around and went to go help Scales. I levitated the car and we flew over to Scales and the Weird black people in suits. Breeze decided to go down with a rope and for some reason by miracle was not whacked in the face with a branch. We saved Scales and retreated...
After we got back from the chase with Caldwell and his black suited living being creatures[They might not be human… ovo] we decided to heal up and go to the library to get some books then head over to Joe’s cafe to research... So we went to Specter public library and got some books, with Dark signed out using a fake card and got away with. Then we went to JOE’S and researched.. Scales had got a book about dinosaurs, Breeze about I forgot and Dark got some books of city maps and landscapes to find a lab. [Which she had previously had a vision about a burning lab] We ordered our drinks and continued studying.
As we were calmly studying, Dark got a vision with a white creature in a burning cafe right here. The white creature seemed familiar...kinda like one we fought off in a previous fight. I tell everyone that and suddenly some people dressed up as police drive up to the cafe. Breeze decides to go outside and calmly walk away without causing any suspicion… A fake cop sees it and follows her… Scales hides because I don’t know… Oscar Calmly walks away luckily without causing suspicion and Dark turns invisible and starts to fly. She follows Breeze and a cop follows her. The “cops” then go inside and demand Joe to tell them information. Joe takes something and whacks the “cop” with it then he transforms into a white creature… Kinda like the creature in Darks vision… Dark sees it and lands on a roof of a nearby building… Joe or the white creature tosses the “cop” out the window. Then Scales also transforms into a dino and they have their own battle scene. Dark decides to set a distraction by making a large explosion of fire and so she does. But, a voice in her head guides her and says “If you don’t fire in this direction you won't be able to use this power... ” And it just so happens to be in Oscar's direction. Dark decides to shoot either way and shoots a giant ball of fire into Oscar’s Direction. Oscar takes a serious injury and the white creature along with the “cops” go check it out. Scales de-transforms and faints[I think] and Breeze has been almost killed by the “Cop”. Dark teleports to Breeze and drags her then teleports to Oscar grabs him and goes back to Scales at the cafe. She puts them all in the car and [along with Joe] take Joe to the hospital while they all go back to the cabin...
After we get back we heal up and get to planning a raid at diefenbaker labs… Breeze leads us to her lore library and we start planning things we need and how to raid it. After a few minutes I get bored and go look around and reach for a book. Scales sees this and we go try to take a book, but the books all seem to have a barrier around them. Breeze notices and me and Scales annoy her to ask her to get a book. She refuses and goes back to planning.Then the voice in Darks mind says “Here if you want a book then take this one...” as her arm being controlled takes an old rugged book from the shelf. It seems to be kinda like a diary and Dark reads it. The book was about different people who had possessed magical powers, in a more recent page there was a page that was about Dark… Dark reads it and sees that Breeze’s parents had been watching her for a very long time… Dark then shouts “BREEZE YOUR PARENTS ARE STALKING MEEEEEE!!!!!!!” Breeze looks over, snatches the book from Dark and shoves Dark out of the library… Dark keeps saying to Breeze in her mind that her parents were stalking her… Dark then heads to the fridge to eat something but she hears a shuffling noise in the backyard and Decides to set it on fire… So a person who was outside gets caught on fire and mumbles”I was going to help you...” After the fire cools down he then decides to go away because he’s unwanted… Dark sees them and goes to tackle him, The guy thinks that Dark can’t see him since he is invisible… But Dark has the power to see mostly like anything and tackles him… She then sends a message to Breeze “ If you don’t come here in 10 seconds this innocent civilian will die...” As she has her hands around his neck… Breezes says ok and rushes over to the backyard… But she hears a sound from her car and goes to check it out, she receives a letter along with a blessed fork and sword… Then she goes to the backyard and yeah… The guy somehow ends up in the cage in the house and They go raid Diefenbaker labs…
Dark’s Perspective
After Discussing the plan we went to raid Dieffenbaker Labs. We decided to Break in on the back side of the base… We headed over there attempting to stay undercover, Scales who recognized the lab shouted “HEY, I BROKE OUT OF THERE!”. Other than Scales being loud, We thought we made it through without being noticed… We reached the back fence of the lab. I then tried to steal Breeze’s Blessed Fork which she brought. Unfortunately, I didn’t get past opening her bag…;-; Then I[Dark] Proceeded to ask Breeze for the Fork “Can I have the forkkkkkk? C:” * 14… Eventually she gave me le fork. Suddenly we heard searchlights in our direction! Scales ran toward them and I ran away to the direction of a search tower with the fork. Breeze and Oscar just stood there not knowing what's going on… Then I attempted to Levitate and well lets just say it had a flashing blue effect along with it and then I just started screaming and waving around like a crazy person. Then I had the brilliant idea to set the front entrance on Fire and so I did. Suddenly the alarms goes off and everybody just looks around to see a fire in the entrance. Then I decided to float over above some guards to the holding lab. I landed on the entrance then found out the door was locked and then proceeded to hit the door lock. When I had actually got it off three guards came over and I tried to knock them out. Unfortunately I failed but to my luck the other people had opened the back door and they came to help. :> Breeze punched the first guard and he stumbled over, and then Scales came in very clutch and whacked the other two guards and sent them flying. Them I being the greatest friend you could have ditched them and went inside :3 Inside the building well it looked like some creature just disintegrated the whole thing but it was still in fairly not so good condition… There was three corridors and I went down the one that seemed to have the creature that just broke out’s tank...And there were a few other tanks that were unopened there as well. Then Breeze came in and looked around followed by Scales and Oscar. I then tried to open the other chamber and couldn’t find a lock. I decided to just try to take Breeze’s Sword to swing open. Tho Breeze somehow caught me and I told her to just cut open the tank and she actually agreed.. She split the tank open and a goblin came out. I being the only one who wanted a pet army tried to tame it but it just ran away… We then opened the next tank and out came a very strange guy with an accent who we will call the Mothman. He told us something bad was going to happen very soon. I suggest we check the next hallway but of course Breeze is doubting us to go. But we literally ignore her and just go down the next hall and there is only one tank that's bigggg. Breeze refuses to open it but luckily Scales still in his raptor form uses his claws to open the tank. There inside the tank is Benny and Tina! The two who just disappeared into thin air were inside the tank… They explain how they got in and we go back. I decided to check out the last hall but Breeze thinks the Mothman’s future sight was correct and goes outside too afraid to go down the last hall. Scales however came along and well we opened the first tank and there was a lion with the tail that's a snake… I try to tame it and it runs away… Then we opened the last tank and inside was a ...vampire? Scales tries to interact with it but I just stand there. Then we hear the Mothman say “I told you something bad would happen” and the vampire leans over and bites me. He says to Scales “You're cool so I wont kill you.” And there was also Breeze who was just standing there staringggg. And Then a skeleton-like creature emerges...
Irene.exe was abscess Dark was bitten by a Vampire… and then was possessed. And was not conscious for the whole episode… An NPC was playing dark… But I could’ve killed the city, sadly someone decided not to.
After we arrived at the cabin we all went inside, Jet was inside the house being himself. Dark and Scales raced to the fridge and fought, but sadly Scales won and got the fridge…;-; Dark then got the idea to go to Breeze’s armory. She goes outside to a shed and tries to open it, but it’s obviously locked… She tries to unlock it with magic but it makes a big noise and forchantly unlocks. Dark runs inside makes a barrier inside the shed. She grabbed a shovel and ran outside. Tho, Breeze caught her and took her inside… Scales saw the Shovel and tried to take it. Dark runs away, releasing from Breeze’s Grip. Dark runs into the backyard with Scales, Breeze and Jet running after her. Attempts to parkour and fails, Scales tackles her and Jet bites Scales. Then Dark takes the shovel and runs but trips and falls… Scales then runs away from the cabin and Dark does the same.
[DARK’S PERSPECTIVE] Dark in the forest senses something is wrong and uses magic to create a knife. Then headed back to the cabin… As she was walking she noticed an officer in the woods coming her way. Dark tackled him and the officer noticed and they began wrestling… Dark decided to use magic to teleport back to the cabin, and succeeded. Landing on a tree she could see what was going on with Benny,Tina,Oscar and Breeze. She stayed on the tree observing what they were saying… Breeze kicked Tina and Benny and then went flying… Suddenly a demon or also recognized as Jack Caldwell.Breeze then ran off, leaving Dark with the demon. He noticed her on the tree and started climbing. Dark decided to jump and follow Breeze but slipped and fell off the tree. Just at the moment Jet appeared and Dark made a barrier to hold off Caldwell. But he tore apart the barrier and Dark attempted to fire but failed, as a voice inside her said “Do you think you can use magic at the person who gave you magic?”... Dark then looked shocked. Jet’s pupils disappeared and suddenly opened his mouth and blasted a beam of light at Caldwell… He then ran away but Breeze killed him with her sword…The END. Epilogue, After the incident Dark lost her powers but found a book which had a few magic exercises… She tried them with Breeze but nothing happened… Breeze decided to get some food and when she came out tho, Dark Blasted a small flame of fire. Breeze, shocked, threw the sandwiches in the air but managed to catch them… She threw one to Dark and she accidentally shot another flame ball of fire and toasted the sandwich as she caught it. As for Scales, he started living in a meadow away from civilization and start making his own farm like home.
