CHARDONNAY “THE VOYAGE”, RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY 2015 VINTAGE Case Production: 192 cases Vineyards: Ritchie Vineyard, Dutton Ranch Rued and Sebastopol Vineyards Cooperage :75% new French Artisan Oak Vinification: Hand sorted, whole cluster pressed, native yeast fermentation, sur lies with bâtonnage Tasting Notes: Our goal with the 2015 Voyage Chardonnay was to focus on the vintage’s intensity and concentration. Reduced yields the 2015 vintage provided fruit of great depth and flavor. The wine has beautiful notes of nectarines and citrus that draw you into the glass and hold your attention. As it opens up, it displays the 2015 vintage’s telltale richness and intenseness with extra layers of minerality and spice. Appellation: Russian River Valley, Sonoma County: The Russian River Valley climate is defined by its proximity to the ocean, and is bordered by the Russian River and the Mayacamas mountains. Coastal breezes bring cooling fog through the Petaluma wind gap in the morning and evening, balancing the afternoon heat enjoyed in this appellation. This diurnal temperature differential creates excellent conditions for our Chardonnays as the fruit is afforded a long growing season, allowing time for optimum fruit maturity. Vineyards: Ritchie Vineyard: The character of this vineyard is reflected in the beautifully aged gnarled Old Wente clone vines which produce tiny clusters and a low yield per vine resulting in wines with the expression only old vines can deliver. Further lending to the character of the wines from this famed vineyard is the volcanic soil composition of pumice, rock and the Goldridge soils for which the Russian River Valley is most known. The Boswell blocks comprise 8.2 acres of the Old Wente vines at the top rise of the hill with mostly volcanic and Goldridge soils and very low vine yields.

Dutton Ranch Rued Vineyard: The 45 year old “mother” vines are the original source of the Rued clone of Chardonnay. These beautiful old vines produce tiny clusters and low yields that add to the intensity and unique characteristics of this Chardonnay. The Rued clone is known for having Muscat flavors when tasted off the vine and wines produced tend to be very floral and intense with notes of citrus, nectarine, ginger and rose. Dutton Ranch Sebastopol Vineyard: This Russian River Valley vineyard was planted in 1980 with a Robert Young derivative of the old Wente Clone selected for its high fruit tones. Goldridge marine based soils and dry farming account for an expression of minerality in this wine that is unlike any other. .

ABSOLUTELY ELOISE, CHARDONNAY, RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY 2015 VINTAGE:
Ritchie Vineyard, Sebastopol Vineyard and Rued Vineyard Tasting Notes: This wine was crafted from three different vineyards and each has had a major impact. The largest single component is from the Ritchie Vineyard. It provides a tropical fruit base and minerality that we build the wine around. A small percentage is from the Rued Vineyard, which provides hints of ginger and spice aromatically. The last component is from our Sebastopol vineyard which brings an amazing depth of texture to the wine. This is the creamiest in style of all of Chateau Boswell’s Chardonnays. Appellation:
Russian River Valley, Sonoma County: The Russian River Valley climate is defined by its proximity to the ocean, and is bordered by the Russian River and the Mayacamas mountains. Coastal breezes bring cooling fog through the Petaluma wind gap in the morning and evening, balancing the afternoon heat enjoyed in this appellation. The Boswell blocks comprise 8.2 acres of the Old Wente vines at the top rise of the hill with mostly volcanic and Goldridge soils and very low vine yields.

Rued Vineyard: The nearly 50yr old “mother” vines are the original source of the Rued clone of Chardonnay. Dutton Ranch Sebastopol Vineyard: The Russian River Valley Sebastopol Vineyard was planted in 1980 and has the distinction of marine based Goldridge sandy loamy soils and the ability to be dry farmed with the exception of high heat day irrigation. The Chardonnay clone planted here is the old Robert Young selection derived from the Wente clone but selected for the high floral fruit tones. Winemaking Process:
Hand picked into small lugs, hand sorted, whole cluster pressed, and fermented and aged in 70% new French Oak. Wine remains sur lies in barrel from fermentation until blending for bottling to maintain the unique characteristics of each individual barrel.

ABSOLUTELY ELOISE, PINOT NOIR “RADIAN”, SANTA RITA HILLS 2015 VINTAGE Case Production: 261 cases Vineyard: Radian Vineyard Cooperage: 100% new French Artisan Oak Vinification: Picked into small hand lugs, hand sorted, whole cluster pressed, native yeast fermentation in oak and stainless steel, Barrel aged for 15 months. Tasting Notes: One half of the former Rancho Salsipuedes property is called the “Radian” Vineyard. This vineyard is known for its “Pinot Bowl” in which a constant swirling wind keeps the vineyard at a cooler temperature despite its more southerly location. The resulting Pinot Noir is deep in color and dense with fruit and spice characteristics, but maintains great acidity giving a full mouthfeel. On the finish, fruit couples with minerality to draw the flavor deep into your palate. One can almost taste a bit of the ocean air that keeps this vineyard cool despite the bright sun that is always shining on it. Appellation: Santa Rita Hills: The Sta. Rita Hills American Viticulture Appellation is located on California’s Central Coast in Santa Barbara County. The Pacific Ocean’s marine layer and afternoon ocean breezes traverse the coastal valley corridors between the Purisima Hills and the Santa Rosa Hills, creating the perfect environment for growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and other cool climate wine grape varieties. Vineyard: Radian Vineyard: Located on the southwestern edge of the Sta. Rita Hills is the awe-inspiring vineyard site known as Radian (formerly Salsipuedes). As part of the “Four Corners” of the appellation, this north-facing block is at an elevation of 800 feet and is blasted daily by cold ocean winds. While only a 7 year-old vineyard, this site is showing incredible potential already and is delivering intensely concentrated, classy and sublime fruit. We believe that Radian’s unique location, close proximity to the ocean and exposed orientation creates a perfect environment for producing low-yielding grapes of high quality. Winemaking Process: Hand picked into small lugs, whole cluster pressed, and fermented and aged in 100% new French Oak. Wine remains in barrel from fermentation for 15 months until blending for bottling to maintain the unique characteristics of each individual barrel.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON “AT ANCHOR”, NAPA VALLEY 2015 VINTAGE Case Production: 418 cases Vineyards: Napa Valley AVA, multiple vineyard sources. Cooperage :100% new French Artisan Oak Vinification: Picked into small hand lugs, hand sorted, whole cluster pressed, native yeast fermentation in oak and stainless fermenters, Barrel aged for 20 months.

Tasting Notes: Dark fruit and herb notes open up in the glass of this Cabernet Sauvignon. With Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot added to this wine, hints of cocoa and pepper add to the deepening fruit notes as the wine crosses over your palate. Crafted in the style of a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is a great pairing to a savory, rich dish.

Appellation: Napa Valley: The Napa Valley is blessed with a Mediterranean climate that only 2% of the earth enjoys. This climate perfection for grape growing plus the diurnal swings in temperature of cool nights and very warm sunny days during the growing season is what provides consistent quality vintage after vintage. Another significant factor contributing to the global recognition of the Napa Valley as one of the finest grape growing regions is that this tiny valley has more than one half of all the world’s soil orders, 33 different soils series and over 100 soil variations which contribute to the unique terroir found throughout the valley floor and hillsides.

The valley floor is flanked by the Mayacamas Mountain Range on the western and northern sides the Vaca Mountains on the eastern side. The floor of the main valley gradually rises from sea level at the southern end to 362 feet (110 m) above sea level at the northern end in Calistoga at the foot of Mount Saint Helena. The soil in the southern end of the valley consists mainly of sediments deposited by earlier advances and retreats of San Pablo Bay while the soil at the northern end of the valley contains a large volume of volcanic lava and ash.

2014 RED WINE, NAPA VALLEY 2014 VINTAGE Case Production: 250 cases Vineyards: Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper & Hossfeld Vineyards Cooperage :100% new French Artisan Oak Vinification: Picked into small hand lugs, hand sorted, whole cluster pressed, native yeast fermentation in oak and stainless fermenters, Barrel aged100% new French Oak for19 months. Tasting Notes: This is an elegant style of wine, but beautifully aromatic with lots of blue, red and black fruits, spring flowers, high-quality toast French oak barrels, and a seamless, beautifully opulent, stylish and savory lush mouthfeel. Asian spices character, the tannins are very refined, soft and delicate. Appellation: Napa Valley: The Napa Valley is blessed with a Mediterranean climate that only 2% of the earth enjoys. Yount, from whom the town of Yountville takes its name. Purchased by Charles Hopper and given to his daughter Missouri in 1877, the land was planted to wine grapes and, as much of the Napa land was at that time, prunes and walnuts. In 1960, the land was purchased by Bruce Kelham as part of the historic Vine Hill Ranch. Purchased by Beckstoffer Vineyards from the Kelham family in

They are so rare, that they are referred to as Grand Crus. Even amongst these privileged 17 Grand Cru villages only 6 are rated 100% on the Cru scale for chardonnay grapes, and they all reside in the illustrious Côte des Blancs region. The village of Oger, home to GDD Chapuy’s vineyard is one such 100% rated Grand Cru village.

The entire range contains exclusively the best and highest quality section of the first ‘La Cuvée’ Press. When selected grapes are pressed for Champagne production, the extracted juices are broadly split into 2 segments. The first (and highest quality) pressing La Cuvée and the second pressing ‘la taille’; which is a lower quality, less age worthy juice with lower mineral content and refinement. Many Champagne houses will utilise the first and second press juice in their Champagne production, however a small number of premium producers will employ only the first ‘La Cuvée’ press. GDD Chapuy goes one step further, in that the entire Champagne range is comprised exclusively of the best and highest quality section of the already premium La Cuvée press. This is known as the ‘tête de cuvée’ or ‘head of the cuvée’. It represents the most meticulously selected, most expensive, and highest quality press used to produce a truly exquisite Champagne.

TO FLAWLESS LUXURY

TRADITIONAL ARTISANSHIP GDD Chapuy’s distinctively engraved upper diamond motif and lower label plaque represent an elegantly timeless design. Each bottle label is individually cast in pure pewter and hand finished by our master craftsmen in a rigorous 17-stage creation process, before being meticulously hand applied to each and every bottle. The design’s ‘coup de grâce’ is a flawless diamond cut crystal, which adorns the bottle’s centerpiece. This diamond crystal focal point is more than a mere design statement, it’s GDD Chapuy’s symbol of flawless luxury, indulgence and traditional artisanship.

The end result is what can only be described as ‘un Goût de Diamants’... a Taste of Diamonds.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE BOTTLE IN THE WORLD Champagne GDD Chapuy holds the prestigious accolade of creating the most expensive bottle of champagne in the world, which was sold for 1.8 million Euros in 2013. The private commission featured a unique diamond encrusted platinum bottle enclosure, accented by a mesmerising 19 carat Flawless D colour diamond. The centerpiece stone was first ethically sourced as an unpolished diamond, before being custom cut and polished to the client’s exact specifications. The champagne inside was an extremely rare and coveted 1976 Vintage, 100% Rated Grand Cru, Blanc de Blancs prestige cuvée from the Chapuy family’s private collection..

THE DIAMOND EXPERIENCE The champagne and bottle enclosure were in fact part of the Chapuy family’s ‘L’expérience du Diamant’ offering. The unique experience included: a chartered private jet to the Champagne region, luxury transportation, accommodation in a traditional French Châteaux with 24 hour butler service and Michelin Star dining, hot air balloon tours of the Côte des Blancs Region, and an intimate tasting of rare unreleased vintage champagnes with the Chapuy family from their private vaults.
