As the interview was about to finish Konrad didn’t stop doing one thing, he could stop grabbing his ring it caught the attention of both him and everyone present, from time to time he would touch it, move it around his finger and glance at it for a micro of a second, then look back up and give an answer back, when asked was that the ring, he answered.

“This is the only thing I asked, so I’m not wear ing it to show off like, I told everyone, I played now for 12 or 11 years I haven’t won anything apart from the Challenger Cup onwards from Leeds and the League’s and this is my dreams.

A lot of people put it on save or whatever, I swear I wear every day, everybody say is that, and I say yeah, I love it. Like this broke a lot off bone for this, might as wear it”

Konrad was born in the small island nation of Tonga, renowned for its skill full rugby legends that have dominated the game, when he was young Konrad got scouted and taken to New Zealand to train and develop his game. In 2012 Konrad made his professional debut for the New Zealand Warriors in where he amazed everyone as he scored 12 tries in 17 matches, for his second year at the club he made it 13 in 20 matches, not long after he made represented the Tongan national team, but life is not made of roses after suffering a number of injuries and scandals, Konrad time at the Warriors was made short after playing for them 6 seasons, making a grant total of 104 appearances with 53 tries.

Not long after he found himself employed under

Australian side Gold Coast Titans in which he stayed over for 2 years in which he played 45 matches scoring 14 winning the MVP and Preston Awards over his stint, sadly on his 100th NRL match his team lost.

After spending a total of 8 seasons at the NRL Konrad made a move in 2018 for Leeds Rhinos, as ever impressive he is on his debut he scored 11 in 17 games, but momentum died down as his new and old
