ABOUT RESIDENTIAL JUNIOR
INTERIOR DESIGNER OPPORTUNITY:
The Residential Interior Junior Designer is a highly motivated, energetic, and creative individual who is self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a dynamic office environment.
The Residential Interior Junior Designer will assist and facilitate the design studio’s project visions.
As a small studio, we rely on a collaborative group environment and value both creative skills as well as organizational skills; the right person for this position has a can-do attitude coupled with a personality that takes the initiative and wants to work in a dedicated, design-focused environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in AutoCAD drawing.
Assist with preparation of client presentations.
Prepare and maintain client samples, documentation, and computer files.
Assist with pricing, preparation of quotes, purchase orders and expediting.
General design office duties such as: organizing and maintaining resource library, coordinating incoming parcels with expeditor, project and library errands.
Support designers at installs.
Support designers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2- 4 years’ work experience in Residential Interior Design.
A degree from an accredited design school. BFA in Interior Design is preferred.
Proficiency in Studio IT Webware, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe Suite.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills along with a great attitude
