Dr. Travis Zambiasi Principal, Lovejoy High School Lovejoy Independent School District

Welcome to Lovejoy High School and the 2022 Foot ball season, We are extremely excited to watch our Lovejoy Leopards compete this year. Our LHS coaching staff, student athletes, band, colorguard, Majestics, cheerleaders, directors, athletic trainers, journalism team and yearbook students have set the tone for an amazing season. We could not be more proud of our student programs and the work they have put in to ensure they capitalize on each opportunity that presents itself this year. We are excited about the future victories on the football field, but equally impressed with the charac ter that our coaches and football team exemplify whether they are on the football field or not. Our football program’s culture revolves around “W.A.R” and it stands for: Winning the Moment, Attacking the Challenge, and Raising the Standard. I have already observed our football team demonstrating W.A.R. on the field of competition, but I have also seen this in the classrooms, hall ways, and community. I cannot wait to watch all of the hard work and dedication turn into “wins” on both Friday nights and in each of our player’s futures. On behalf of the staff at Lovejoy HS, we wish you the best of luck this year, and can’t wait to see your success.

We appreciate all of those that support the Gridiron Club. Local businesses, individuals and families contribute their time and money to make it possible for the us to support our football program, both middle school and high school. We help provide meals and equipment to over 300 athletes every week. We coordinate concessions, pre-game/in-game operations, and fundraising to provide support to our coaches and players as needed. Every single dollar that we raise via the Gridiron Club goes toward supporting football at all grade levels. None of this could be done without the support of so Andmany.a big thank you to the Gridiron Board for their countless hours of hard work.

Leopard fans - get loud for Friday Night Lights! The players, band, color guard, Majestics, cheerleaders, student athletic trainers, and student managers all put countless hours into practicing, working, training to make this night special so let’s make sure they all hear us loud and proud in the stands cheering them on and celebrating their success. Come out and sup port our 7th, 8th, Freshman and JV teams on Tues days and Thursdays as well. It is fun to watch these athletes compete and do what they love to do.
