The Traditional dress of Nagaland

The Naga women usually wear Azu Jangup Su, a dress worn, consisting of a skirt, a blouse, and a headgear with feathers and beads. The tribal women also wear plain blue cloth skirts and white cloth. The Naga women wear Mechela, the wraparound skirt with an accompanying shawl. The men in Nagaland wear a dress called Kilt, which consists of a wraparound skirt with a belt and a shawl.. The men wear Rikho, a costume in which the cloth is white, and four black coloured bands are attached to this cloth. Alungstu is a dress worn by both men and women , consisting of a white cloth with black and red stripes. It has a band at the end of the cloth with zigzag patterns.
