Super Cereal
Super Cereal is a fortified blended food preferred to treat moderate acute malnutrition (MAM) in young children and in pregnant and lactating women. Super Cereal is a specific fortified blended flour tailored for young children aged 6 months – 2 years to complement breastmilk, children age 2-5 and pregnant and lactating women. Nutritionally, it is high in fat and protein, containing both animal and vegetable proteins. This vitamin and mineral profile promotes cognitive development and growth, strengthens the immune system and reduces the occurrence of blindness. The product is to be used as a complement to breastfeeding. The product is NOT a breastmilk replacement. Evidence-based specialized nutritious food (SNF) used to complement breastfeeding (6-24 months) or as a nutritional supplement for children up to age 5 and pregnant and lactating women. Super Cereal Plus
Super Cereal Plus is a product preferred to treat moderate acute malnutrition (MAM) in young children and in pregnant and lactating women. When Super Cereal Plus is consumed as a porridge or gruel, it should be prepared by mixing an appropriate proportion of flour and clean water (i.e. 50g of Super Cereal Plus with 250 g of water) followed by a cooking time at simmering point from five to ten minutes. The product is to be used as a complement to breastfeeding. The product is NOT a breastmilk replacement.

Ready to Use Supplementary Food (RUSF)
Ready to Use Supplemental Foods (RUSF) are like their counterpart RUTF, packaged in a foil pouch and ready to eat. The product is portable and shelf-stable meaning that an nutritionist or clinic can determine the dose and quantity of the supplemental feeding needed but the administration of the daily dosage can occur in the home. The supplemental foods contain a peanut paste and micronutrients as well as essential fatty acids to ensure proper nutrition is regained under medical supervision.
