THE BRIEF: Six different designs to decorate four columns on 6 floors. THE CHALLENGE: Not one of the columns had equal sides, nor were any of the columns identical; and the designs were to interconnect.

Shannon Cheung of Typoflora hand-illustrated plants to represent different stages of growth which were printed onto wall vinyl. The designs were to reflect “Growth” and they were named Cultivate, Nurture, Grow, Thrive, Flourish and Established. Many New Zealand native species were illustrated including insects for the lower levels, ground birds for mid-levels and flying birds and insects for the upper levels. Read More

An organic waterfall image was required for the reception area, fading out as it came down the entire wall. Our design team worked in conjunction with the specifying designer and developed an ombre snakeskin which we printed onto a vertical shimmer wall vinyl, Cibolo. Read More

STATEMENT CUSTOM WALL VINYLS Wall Vinyl : Custom Liz Casella Design on Sandy Bank
13 Utilising a Liz Casella design, we worked with a Woods Bagot designer offering various colour options on a wall vinyl substrate called Sandy Bank. The final selections in Gold and Forest were used as the backdrop in the guest rooms. They also requested a textured finish wall vinyl in a chalk colourway for all other walls in the rooms. The client was keen to have a low maintenance finish. We provided options in the Linum design which was within the colour scope and the selection was confirmed as Linum Chalk.

The inspiration for the bedhead wall vinyl design came from a tiny postcard sized painting. When scaled up it was far too pixilated for us to reproduce appropriately. With permission from the artist, our incredible design team reproduced the work perfectly so that the image could be printed at a large scale onto our wall vinyl substrate Sandy Bank. LUXURIOUS CUSTOM PRINTED TEXTILES The Veriu Hotels in Broadway and Green Square required luxurious furnishing textiles for high-end fit-outs.

Custom piping was required for the throw cushions and the perfect hot pink was selected and printed onto a plain base cloth. Mostaghim & Associates were supplied with WeaveUp logins to view our library of thousands of textile designs. Customisable through colour, repeat and scale the team were able to select the perfect design ‘Cabana Loops 2’ and adapt it to suit their requirements. View WeaveUp

The Lucy G design was printed onto a 137m wide velvet base cloth Ritz White Lace. The wall was 20m long and 4.3m high so our design team prepared the design in panels.

CUSTOM WATERPROOF BEDHEADS The graphics were supplied by our client and printed onto Zircon Linen which is a waterproof base cloth.

The fabric was railroaded to eliminate joins and the base cloth selection was important as a cleanable, durable solution for a high-traffic hotel. Our QLD team worked in collaboration with Cairncross Martin who were engaged to deliver the bedheads for the project. Presbyterian Aged Care wanted to dress their new stylish lobby with beautiful sheers and requested that they have acoustic properties to reduce unwanted noise in this large open space. View Soundcheck Pumice.
ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS Commercial spaces often present acoustic challenges, with noise reverberating and echoing off hard surfaces, vast foyers and intimate spaces. We offer a variety of acoustic solutions, for a harmonious balance of acoustics and aesthetics. As a drapery we aim to absorb sound and reduce reverberation, whereas for an acoustic walling fabric, the textile needs to allow sound waves to pass through the fabric into the absorber, described as being acoustically transparent. Our print technology enables virtually all of our designs and colours in our library (or your imagination) to be applied to dozens of base fabrics.
