Winter Holidays Happy belated holidays! December is one of, if not, the most festive month of the year. December can credit its festivity to many holidays such as Hanukkah and Christmas. This year, Hanukkah ran from December 7th to December 15th. Christmas was ten days after Hanukkah. Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, a Christian prophet. Hanukkah marks the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem in the 2nd century BCE. According to legend, Jews rose against their Greek-Syrian oppressors in the Maccabean Revolt to get back the temple of Jerusalem. Hope everyone had a great winter holiday with their friends and family!
