In 2011, with short notice, Navy SEAL Team Six (DEVGRU) was deployed to apprehend Osama bin Laden. This elite fighting force was the frontline force in Operation Neptune Spear--made famous through the film Zero Dark Thirty and the book No Easy Day.
There was effective strategic and tactical planning and execution, agility within teams, and rapid decisionmaking at all levels during the operation--from the SEAL Team and the flight crews to the White House and CIA.
Through a mix of hands-on exercises, film clips, and techniques, Bill Fournet will show a new way to lead your teams, better manage risks and assumptions, and apply lessons learned for your teams immediately. This workshop interactively teaches how this moment in history can improve leadership capabilities, decision-making, and team performance by incorporating Bill’s POWERPLAY™ techniques and having you go through the “mission” of the Zero Dark Thirty Team.
With training dollars scarce and time away from the office expected to deliver a high return in short order, the time I spent attending ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ with Bill Fournet did not disappoint. He interspersed delivery of very valuable concepts via Power Point, lecture, and movie clip examples with highly realistic role-playing exercises. That kept the session highly energized and engaging. I left with excellent ideas, which I was able to use immediately. This was undeniably one of the best investments I’ve made in my continuing education.
