ROMEO MILLER "The secret ingredient for people who make monumental change is that they truly dream a lot bigger and believe a lot more than the average person." Whether you know all the lyrics to his debut song, “My Baby” or have seen him act in shows and movies, one thing is for sure.. Romeo Miller is the definition of a jack of all trades. The rapper, actor, and entrepreneur had an early start to his career. Now at the age of 32, Romeo is building generational wealth and taking steps to become the next business tycoon! In the early 2000's, the Louisiana native had a very impressive resume for someone his age (or for any age). His debut album, Lil' Romeo sold over 200,000 copies in the first week of its release. His single "My Baby" landed him a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for one of the fastest selling singles and his album sold over 1,000,000 copies. During the origins of his music career, he was also balancing an acting career and was a top high school basketball player, even winning a college championship at USC. The Romeo Show had four successful seasons on Nickelodeon and put him further on the map.

However, acting and rapping are not the only things he has up his sleeves. The superstar has tapped into other passions such as philanthropy, hosting, and fashion throughout his 20+ year career. His father, Master P set an example for Romeo to continue the "NoLimit" legacy as a business mogul. He's proven that the apple did not fall far from the tree with the multiple brands and products that he has started. From Rap Snacks, to his Big Poppa Burger restaurant chains, and his most recent project, The Drewy Co. officially launching at the end of the year. He has been silently building an empire and is on track to have multiple billion dollar companies in his name. His accomplishments have proven that Romeo Miller has "No Limits." When he is not filming a new movie, he's hosting a talk show or working on a new business venture. So how does Romeo do it all? His mindset, his beliefs, and his passion for impacting the youth, all play a vital role to his success.

THE NEXT BUSINESS TYCOON You’ve been in the limelight for decades from acting to rapping and even venturing into entrepreneurship.. So how has the “NoLimit” mindset motivated you throughout the years? Romeo : You made that intro sound like I’m a 65 year old man haha. In all honesty, it’s crazy to think that I’m just entering my thirties and I’ve already put in 20 plus years of work and experience in the industry. Much of my success comes from before social media so a lot of this generation forgets, but I’ve honestly done it all. Growing up with a pops like Master P, you learn and literally see up close that anything is possible. NoLimit for my family was always bigger than just a company/ record label but it truly is a mindset. People look at kids with successful parents and they jump to the conclusion that they’ll just be successful or simply happy. Say what you want but that’s not the case. Just think about all of your favorite icons or billionaire tycoons, now tell me, what are their kids names or own accomplishments? I am not one to compare, but I truly feel that me and my father made it look so easy that we don’t get the roses we truly deserve. For example, you could go to school and have the most brilliant teacher teach you everything she knows, but just because that’s your teacher, that doesn’t mean the brilliance naturally transfers to you. To get even deeper.. on top of that everybody's make up is different. What’s hard to you may be easier for someone else. I honestly just feel like I was always a rare case because I knew my purpose at a young age. The fame was never my destination, it was just a journey along the way that I’ve had to conquer. Kind of like in the Bible how David's biggest blessings were on the other side of conquering the giant.

Congratulations on your new baby ! I know it must have been an exciting journey. How has fatherhood changed you? — As someone who engages often on social media, was it hard to keep this part and chapter of your life private? Romeo : Thank you so much and "exciting" isn’t even the word. I’ve never been so happy or felt so full. As far as keeping things private, that was never an issue because I only use social media as a tool, a place to inspire. Private life, equals a happy life. I feel the healthiest way to view and use social media is as a work space; it’s a piece of your life but not your entire life. I always ask people, who are you if they decide to delete social media apps? How much does your life change? Does the person you are loving change? Work? ... etc? Nothing that I love in my life changes if social media isn’t there and that is the key to happiness in this modern world. Also, I’ve wanted kids since I was a youngin', way before social media was ever invented. I’ve ALWAYS imagined sharing this sacred moment with my partner and not the world. I know my best is yet to come, fatherhood was the key I needed to unlock the best version of me.

On Instagram, you announced that you and Drew are starting a baby company. What can fellow parents look forward to from TheDrewyCo and how did Baby R inspire this new venture? Romeo : Baby R was the inspiration before she was ever here. Believe it or not, but this is the most simple question to answer because this baby company was already planned since I started my career as a 10 year old. The only thing that wasn’t planned was the name of the company because I knew I wanted to name it after my person. You can google clips of Lil' Romeo speaking on how he’s preparing and working hard for his future family. Family is everything to me and I knew from day one that I wanted my future family to be set for 100 life times. Ps: and yes I was speaking in 3rd person haha. While most kids were worried about prom dates, I was focused on helping my family build generational wealth.

But to answer the question, DrewyCo is a one stop shop for families. I wanted to create something that everybody could utilize because shopping for babies is already expensive. I learned a lot about babies and parenthood from my mama. Thank you mom and love ya! You are a jack of all trades and have an impressive resume up your sleeves, so who are some people in your life that have paved the way as an example? Romeo : Off top, my pops. It’s odd to me because people will look at people like my pops who create this massive success and they think everything they touch is gold or that money falls from the clouds with a snap. However, the secret ingredient for people who make monumental change is that they truly dream A LOT bigger and BELIEVE a lot more than the average person. I’ve seen my dad's failures, where the world only sees the success. I know what it really takes and the shit ain’t easy but it’s worth it. Another person that I can say the same about is The Rock , Dwayne Johnson. I know the world knows more of his story, but I’ll never forget the love he showed to me and my entire film crew in Canada while filming The Romeo Show. God doesn’t forget good people and those are who I’m inspired by. Celebrity or not, I’m inspired by the people using their light and gift for good. If you are being a blessing to others, I’m rooting for you. Most people don't know that you signed a 25-year product/food distribution deal, (Congratulations by the way) and although you are always working hard and staying busy, what else can we look forward to this year?

As someone who has many gifts and passions, what advice do you have for someone who looks up to you and is struggling to balance all of their goals and interests? Romeo : You should read Rick Warren's, What on Earth Am I Here For and Paulo Coelho’s, Warrior of the Light and you’ll have a lot more clarity on life. My personal advice to anybody though is to simply know that you are worthy. The devil is the master of deception, so anything that drags you down or depresses you, isn’t truly meant for you. I saw a lot of death growing up and even escaped it a few times and the re-occurring theme or reminder is that if you are alive, that’s the gift, that’s enough. Perspective. That’s the life changer.

Romeo : First of all thank you and how much time do y'all have? Haha. Other than my many brands and products; from RomeoLand Studios, Moneyatti shoes, to Rap Snacks, Master Crunch cereal, LA Great Water and Beverages etc., I’m truly most excited about The Drewy Co because of the philanthropy work we will be doing with this brand. I also get goosebumps thinking about the creative side and my film projects that I have coming; MONSTAH, a Scarface meets Creed boxing film that I’ve been working on for 8 plus years is finally starting production. I’m producing a series called The King of Malibu starring Juhahn Jones. I also have a few movies being released, including my thriller film, WRATH, with Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child. She may be one of my favorite people to work with yet in this industry. But honestly, the coolest part about my life and career is that I’ve been silently building an empire and everything I’ve already accomplished was just practice. This next phase I wanna show our youth is that there are many different ways of being successful, you don’t always have to be the superstar to be the superstar. We’ve taken over the music industry, but now it’s time to take over the grocery stores. That’s generational wealth. The more we make, the more we give. I don't like to really speak on all of my endeavors even though I know it's part of my job, but time will tell all. They don't call me the silent assassin for nothing. Mark 4:22
