A Message from Jesse Kumagai

President and CEO

Raised in Toronto, my first experience at Massey Hall, like many, came as a student performing at a Toronto District School Board concert. I’ve since come to appreciate the incredible life-altering and affirming impact our work can have on individuals and communities, and look forward to the final completion of the Massey Hall Revitalization and how this project will help to further expand our impact. This growth, and the exciting times ahead will be coloured by the pandemic’s lasting devastation within the sector, the artist community, and with our own team and operations. We have a lot of hard work ahead, but we also have purpose and drive, and with the support of our stakeholders we will lead the recovery and usher in a new and spectacular era for the halls.
