For the entire month of September, we are partnering with our local non-profit, LIFT-UP, to help those in need in our community.
Together, we will help Lift-Up our community by collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations. Lift-Up’s mission is to be the leader in fighting food insecurity from Parachute to Aspen. Every food donation received goes to people in need. 100% of the monetary donations will be used to fund Lift-Up’s various programs including 6 pantries of choice, 9 drive-thru sites, 2 prepared meal sites, and Meal Monkey children’s lunch program. Lift-Up’s programs served nearly 50,000 individuals in 2021, and will serve closer to 70,000 in 2022. Funding raised will also support the Farm2Pantry initiative. This initiative allows Lift-Up to purchase the best locally grown produce, meat, and dairy directly from local farmers and ranchers. With the support of the Roaring Fork community, Lift-Up will continue their mission to end food insecurity.
