RFOV also involves hundreds of youth in hands-on conservation projects so they experience the satisfaction that comes from the hard work of accomplishing a community project. In its third year, the Young Stewards Initiative includes several programs that aim to develop life-long sense of stewardship for our public lands in today’s youth. RFOV’s summer-long Climb for Trails event encourages individuals and teams to hike, bike or run on their favorite trails while raising money for trail and restoration projects.
