Other positive Basalt market indicators from Woelfle: • Basalt Residential Sold Dollar Volume in 2012 was the highest it has been since the market fell apart in 2008: o Up 113% from its lowest point since the crash o Up 22% over the previous year • From 2006 to 2009 the inventory in Basalt consistently increased while the number of transactions dramatically decreased. This left an oversupply of properties that caused prices to drop to 2004 levels. Today, supply and demand are starting to balance one another out.
Celebrating its 50th Birthday, the Aspen Historical Society operates four sites and offers weekly programming and tours for children and adults. Instead of adult programming and tour. This summer, AHS welcomes a travelling Smithsonian exhibit, Journey Stories, to the Aspen Fire Station, which explores the migrations and settling of America. As the backbone organization for the Cradle to Career Initiative, ACF is guiding the vision and strategy, supporting aligned activities, building public will and mobilizing funding to advance the work of the Initiative.
