Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club The Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club’s mission is to provide all youth in the greater Roaring Fork Valley the opportunity to develop as athletes and as people through winter sports. Our mission can be summed up in three words: Opportunity, Excellence and Values.

AVSC Base Camp Program 1,650 participants • Over 250 Ski Pros • 12,545 days on the mountain this season 228 children who’ve never - ever been on the mountain are now skiers and snowboarders

What sums up your season best – what are you most proud of?

The Crossover Program, a never-ever program to introduce children to snowboarding, had 37 athletes enrolled. All 37 were making linked turns down Panda Peak by the end of the 3rd and final day. Showcases our amazing pros and the impact AVSC lessons can have all participants.

The Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club has been teaching winter sports ever since the Club was founded in 1937.

As the valley’s oldest and largest youth non-profit, AVSC has taught generations of local children the very sports that revitalized the Aspen/Snowmass area. Through AVSC, children and teens experience the mountains in winter, build character, challenge themselves and make new friends. Our motto is great athletes, great kids.
