DURING THEIR UNIT HOW THE WORLD WORKS, KG2A LEARNERS EXPLORED AND COMPARED DIFFERENT TYPES OF SIMPLE MACHINES BY FOCUSING ON THEIR FORM AND FUNCTION. AS INQUIRERS AND THINKERS, THEY ASKED QUESTIONS, OBSERVED REAL-LIFE OBJECTS, AND WORKED TOGETHER USING SORTING ACTIVITIES AND A LARGE VENN DIAGRAM TO COMPARE MACHINES. AS COMMUNICATORS, THEY SHARED THEIR IDEAS AND FINDINGS WITH THE CLASS DURING REFLECTION.
KG2B: Physical Safety in Action
During the ProtectEd Physical Safety unit, KG2B learners explored water and playground safety by identifying hazards and learning how to stay safe. They investigated playground equipment and simple machines like slides, and explored how pushing and pulling affect movement. As communicators and thinkers, they shared ideas, worked together, and created Water Safety Maps and Safe Playground Maps to show their understanding.
KG1A: Seeds to Plants
KG1B:TheHumanand ButterflyLifeCycle
KG1B learners explored how living things grow and change by learning about the human and butterfly life cycles. They identified the stages of human growth from baby to adult through interactive activities, and investigated the butterfly life cycle through role-play and hands-on model making. These experiences helped them develop communication, thinking, collaboration, and fine motor skills while understanding that change is a natural part of life.

KG2 learners enjoyed a wonderful day with the Grade 1 learners and teachers as part of their visit to the Elementary School. The learners participated in a variety of fun and engaging activities, including a puppet show, cupcake decorating, face painting, and coloring. They also had the opportunity to explore the ES facilities and visit the Elementary School Principal’s office, making the experience both exciting and memorable as they prepared for their next learning journey.

THE PE DEPARTMENT PREPARED AN EXCITING DAY FILLED WITH JUMPING CASTLES, A VARIETY OF ENERGETIC GAMES, AND MANY DELICIOUS GOODIES AND TREATS FOR OUR KG LEARNERS TO ENJOY. LAUGHTER, TEAMWORK, AND JOYFUL MEMORIES FILLED THE DAY FROM BEGINNING TO END!

Our KG2 Graduation was a memorable and joyful event where we celebrated the achievements of our young learners alongside their families. The learners proudly received their graduation certificates and showcased their talents through beautiful dance performances. It was a special occasion filled with smiles, excitement, and pride as families gathered to celebrate this important milestone.
