KG1B learners brought their learning to life as Communicators and Risk-Takers while exploring weather and seasons. They created their own props to show Form and demonstrated how the environment affects our daily lives through Connection. Learners confidently shared their understanding through group performances and creative play, making learning both fun and meaningful.

KG2B learners took on the role of researchers as they explored how signs and symbols help people communicate ideas and information. They used their communication and thinking skills to interpret signs from videos and their surroundings, noticing their form and function. In the library, learners worked in pairs to explore books and magazines, identify signs using pictures, words, or both, and add their findings to a class Venn diagram. Through reflection, they shared their discoveries and practiced being Open-minded and Communicators while learning about verbal and non-verbal signs in everyday life.

KG2A LEARNERS DEMONSTRATED THE IB LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE OF THINKERS BY USING THEIR CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS TO DESIGN AND CREATE THEIR OWN UNIQUE SIGNS AND SYMBOLS. IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR UNIT OF INQUIRY HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES, LEARNERS EXPLORED HOW SYMBOLS CAN COMMUNICATE MEANING AND MESSAGES. THEY SHARED THEIR IDEAS, EXPLAINED THE PURPOSE OF THEIR DESIGNS, AND REFLECTED ON HOW CREATIVITY HELPS US EXPRESS AND REPRESENT INFORMATION IN DIFFERENT WAYS.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, our learners planted and dedicated a special plant to their mothers as a token of love and appreciation. Through this activity, they expressed their gratitude in a meaningful and hands-on way, learning that small acts of care can grow into lasting symbols of love. It was a heartwarming moment that allowed learners to reflect on the important role their mothers play in their lives while nurturing a sense of responsibility and connection to nature.

KG learners joyfully celebrated Eid Al-Fitr with a day full of fun and creativity. They sang festive songs, spreading happiness and the spirit of the holiday, and made their own colorful crowns to wear during the celebration.
