ay is such a beautiful and busy time at Marymount. It’s a beautiful time not only because the campus is in full bloom with all of the colors of spring, but also because it is during this month that we celebrate a number of special occasions for our students, including the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation.
Students began preparing for these important events last fall under the guidance of their classroom teachers, religion teachers Ann Haring and Marie-Catherine Letendre, and the wonderful Sr. Rosaleen Sheridan. We share in their joy at reaching these singular moments in their spiritual lives
and celebrate with them during what is appropriately the month of Mary, for whom our school is named. It is also during May that we start to wrap up the current academic year while beginning Continued on Page 2
