t’s 2014, and much is happening at Marymount. I begin by sharing the exciting news that Marymount International School received full re-accreditation from both the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). The organizations noted the substantial progress that our school has made since their last visit in areas including strategic planning, curriculum design and articulation, assessment, and teacher appraisal. Feedback we received from these specifically noted that the “actions already underway testify to a commitment on the part of the school to define its curriculum systematically and cohesively and with a strong focus on its mission and values.” The work completed in preparation for this accreditation process has allowed us to
