MARYBOROUGH Community Aged Care has launched with it’s state-ofthe-art facility in Tinana.

Planned and built by Signature Care, the sprawling 180 room aged care home features a range of room sizes up to a whopping 50m2 and configurations to suit all residents, with large ensuites and luxurious appointments.

Interconnecting rooms for couples and a dedicated general dementia and memory support wing and respite care are part and parcel of the facility.

The centre features plenty of entertainment from the integrated TV systems, beautiful bowls lawn and cinemas, piano lounge, games rooms, music rooms, hairdressing salon, cafes and dining rooms.

It even has an outside playground and seating area for when the grandkids visit.

GM Client Services Martin Jones says that residents will have everything they need.

“For those who don’t want to leave to visit their doctors, we have an in house clinic for visiting GPs and specialists.” he said.

“Our staff include 24/7 registered nurses, personal care assistants and all dementia trained.”

“The facilities have been purpose built to give residents freedom, plenty of space to move around in, activities and a high level of comfort.”

Maryborough Aged Care is one of only a handful of paperless facilities in the country, utilising personal wellness trackers, online menus and family-linked apps to keep residents connected and staff constantly updated as to their wellbeing.

Along with happy hours, regular bus tours, pet therapy and exercise, visiting entertainers and personal care, it’s no wonder the centre is attracting so much attention.
