Daisy and Violet were English-born entertainers who were conjoined twins. They were exhibited in Europe as children, and toured the United States sideshow, vaudeville and American burlesque circuits in the 1920s and 1930s. They were best known for their film appearances in Freaks and the biographic Chained for Life (1951)
They are buried in Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte. Visitors to the site often leave two pennies, as that was the price of admission to see the twins in the side show when they were children. (Wiki)

This has been an incredible season for us at Brüka Theatre. Thirty wonderful years of live theatre with so many different ar sts, ideas, collabora ons coming together with all the theatre magic. This year’s theme: “The show must go on '' lived up to its name and gave us our first strong season back from COVID
Thank you, our dear patrons for showing up, trus ng us with your entertainment needs and suppor ng us.
We, like many people, have lost some incredible players and patrons over the last couple of years and their impact will be felt forever. We have also had ar sts return to their Brüka home and reignite themselves and the art.
For the opportunity to create, share and experience innova ve live theatre at Brüka - I am always grateful. Our 32nd season is on the horizon with “Transcendence”. Stay tuned for the season and for season ckets.
