Ruff & the cruel queen
Once upon a time, in a kingdom where splendor reigned and shadows danced, there lived a cruel queen named Seraphina. Her laughter echoed through the grand halls, yet it was laced with malice, as she looked down upon her subjects, making them bow at her feet like mere insects.
One fateful day, during her extravagant banquet, a mysterious sorcerer cloaked in shadows entered the ballroom. With a voice that rumbled like thunder, he challenged the queen’s tyranny. Seraphina, with her heart as cold as ice, laughed scornfully and ordered her guards to seize him. But the sorcerer had come prepared.
In a flash of lightning and a swirl of smoke, he cast a spell that enveloped the queen in a dazzling light. As the radiance faded, there stood not a queen but a stunning ruff cocktail table, who’s design mimicked the large ruff collar she had worn around her neck.

From that day forward, Seraphina became the centerpiece of every gathering, her once-mighty throne replaced by the laughter and chatter of her subjects. Guests would set their drinks upon her, raising their goblets in joyful toasts, unaware of the trapped spirit beneath the polished wood.
As the sun set each evening, the echoes of her cruel laughter faded, replaced by the warm camaraderie of those she had once oppressed. And so, the oncefeared queen learned the humbling truth: to be a ruler requires kindness, not cruelty. For the rest of her days, she remained at the foot of all who came her way, a silent reminder of the power of humility and the consequences of tyranny.
