It is a Nordic farmhouse that is a mix of Scandinavian architecture and classic Farmhouse It is known for its steep pitch gable roof with no overhang. The exterior material should have monochromatic color schemes with natural wood features and large glazing windows
It was the first time for the company to build this kind of roof, and it was challenging to design a roof without overhang in Winnipeg, because of the air ventilation and the snow. After comprehensive research, my team and I found a good solution for this roof style. We used “Lomanco Deck-Air” which is an excellent solution for roofs with little or no overhang to install traditional intake vents It can also boost an insufficient intake system to achieve a balanced ventilation system
