Brixton is a district in South London that became a center of immigration after 1948. This visual essay presents the public landscape of Brixton in the form of a walk around the area. The Victorian era structures and markets have largely been repurposed to reflect the diverse population of the area. I make use of my own photos of Brixton and then I use online tools like Google Street View to provide context.
